I bought a lifetime sub to lotro on a pre-order back when it came out and played for years, through the mines of Moria and even had the full raid set. Recently I had to recover my account and they deleted all my characters and now I have to start over. Videos like this are helping me remember some things as well as teach me about the changes and additions. Thanks.
Most likely you are on an one of the servers that closed. You should still have your lifetime. But if you had characters on one of the merge ones, They gave everyone about four years to move their characters. They even sent out a warning that if you don't before this time, they're going to delete an entire server and data. I am sorry that happened. I totally understand you were most likely gone for 6 to 7 years and did not know. Welcome back! We play on crickhollow server if you want to join us! Join our discord. Also, your original tools were like level 65? That's pretty easy to get to know. Even though it's sad to lose your originals. Welcome back to the game though! Its even better then the past. So much amazing stories and adventures! Hope to see you more! Glad your playing again. So lucky to have a lifetime membership!
Voice of the Rings, Thanks for this. Another one that I love is, after you get the ui set-up how you want it you can save it by..... Typing into the chat window.........''/ui layout save (enter file name)'', hit ENTER, then on each toon (if you wish) type ''/ui layout load (name again)''. ENTER again. Quotation marks and parentheses are not entered guys. I abuse this often.(I'm forever tinkering with my ui lol). Take care.
I just recently started the game again after a long hiatus. It drove me crazy trying to remember the way to move ui elements around. I searched the options over and over and tried dozens of typing commands! Finally i noticed it clearly in text at the top of the ui options screen lol
Thanks for a great guide! I've been trying to scale everything to fit my bigger screen, and this was a big help. However, things like the item bag and the shop is still really small and hard to see. Any tips?
Ya, the items bags is harder. I don't know of any way in game to scale that up. There may be mods. I have a video on UI settings I use. But I have nothing for the item bag. Hopefully they will update it sooner or later. You can how ever scale up the abilities on skillbar
Respect = Reputation. :) I would add that you can change the layout of your inventory. At start there's main inventory and then bags, but you can connect them into one big window.
I was a fresh hobbit in Bree and some dude named Satin kept throwing tomatoes at me for no reason. I would 100% block him. Not a respectable sort if I say so
Any advice on how to get the game to stop freezing all the time? And it crashes on me 2-3 times a day. I've had help in world chat multiple times. Tried full screen windowed mode and all kinds of setting changes. It drives me crazy. Events are less fun when you fail a horse race because of long freezes that won't let you jumo over the next wall.
This is a hard one, It's one of the Main things they are working on. The Older Engine Runs on 1 CPU core. so if that one core does anything wrong it will sometimes turn the game off. It's not just the fault of the CPU. It's something they are attempting to change over time. For Ideas, I always play in Windows Fullscreen and Also make sure you don't have any of the Big tasks going on your PC unless they have to be. Do you use the Steam version? I find the Normel version from LOTRO.com is better for me. Just an Idea. I don't have to much besides that. Unless you want to go through your graphic settings and test things. But it could be different for each computer. and it might just be a lag spike from the server. but those are way down from 5 years ago. I only get 1 once or twice here and there. I am hoping over the next year it will get better with there updates.

I wish they would offer this again I would buy it
I really appreciate this guide as a total noob. The learning curve is steep!
This has been the most basic and HELPFUL guide for this new player, thanks!!!!
So glad it helped!
Got the game yesterday and this has been the most help of all guides. Thanks man
Glad to hear it! Thanks so much!

True! I do have that on another 5 things everyone should know I made a few months back.
I just recently started the game again after a long hiatus. It drove me crazy trying to remember the way to move ui elements around. I searched the options over and over and tried dozens of typing commands! Finally i noticed it clearly in text at the top of the ui options screen lol
Oh man, I bet that was frustrating! 😂 I get that. Easy if you know. Hard if you don't.
I just picked up the game last night. This helped a lot. WoW consumed all my mmo time in the past. Excited to try this
Hope you enjoy it! I think it's a great game! Thanks for watching my guide!
To rearange the UI on EU clients the default shortcut is ctrl+shift+#
Entertaining and informative tutorial, thank you! Sharing on our kin's discord!
you have such incredibly useful videos!
Glad you like them!
Hii i just started playing lotro and ur videos are really helpful 👍
Glad to hear!
How do you do to have the enemies health bar hover over them? I like it because it clears the ui a lot, is it a plugin?
That is an option in UI! Good question. Just check not to many things in UI. If u can't find it please ask and I'll look for the exact name.
Love your videos man! You have inspired me to convert from WoW
That's awesome, glad you're enjoying the game! I also think WoW is cool. But I'm definitely partial to lotro! Lord of the Rings!!! Baruk Khazad

True! Should of added that in this too. I have send that in other guide videos. Good addition!
Tip 7 helped me:)
Yay
Your RM looks very very cool, i often find high level toons with underwhelming looks but yours is very different very nice
thank you
Do dungeon bosses drop weapons and armor? Escpecially low lvl dungeons.
Yes
Good job!
You are a great man!
Thanks! 😊

Alt left click item in inventory, then ctrl T. Locks items.
Good info!
Only thing I have issues with is the map, hard to read for me.
Fair, they do update stuff sometimes. I would try lotro wiki for more info and detailed location finding with coordinates. It's helpful

How does your game look so good? Playing on a very overspecced machine for lotro and can’t seem to get it looking like this!
I have a guide video on my UI settings I use. I might make a new video to make it look even better. Stay tuned!
Tp #31 (If your streaming while playing LotRO) is to turn down or turn off your music.
Ya, this is an older guide video. I have balanced that better nowadays 👍

I had to watch this at 0.75
Good idea!
Your enthusiasm scares me.
😆🤣 thanks???
Wow! Great information, but maybe slow down just a bit in your speech.
I went fast on purpose in this video to fit in 30 tips in a short time. I don't do this in all videos.
you can always slow down the speed of the video 0.25% if YOU want it slower
