I was looking at the image and was wondering how you made the color changes on the side...Before realizing...Its not 1 poncho but 3 on top of each other.lol!Love the tutorial!

hi, I love this Poncho pattern! I'm going to be making the large size but using a chunky yarn and I was wondering what I would need to chain in order to get that started?
Hello, I am not sure what hook size is used for the chunky yarn but if it is bigger than a 5.5mm /I hook then I would choose the poncho pattern 1 size smaller than needed because you are using thicker yarn and it will come out bigger :)

Hi Bobwilson123, Thank you for your easy to follow pattern, I have made a few different sized ponchos and I seem to be having a problem with them pointing different directions at the points, The back points one-way and the front points the opposite direction, instead of just straight down, I don't know what I am doing wrong;/ any suggestions?
Hello Nancy, this can be caused sometimes because we are always working in the same direction. You can try blocking your work or if you were to make another one you can turn at the end of each round and that "should" help but I have never tried it myself :)
Nancy Brookins Mine did the same thing. Next time, I'm going to try turning each round like you would with a large granny square blanket and see if that helps.
miss Bobbi can you please make the skirt poncho using the shell stitch instead of the ripple I am having a hard time trying to figure it out thanks

Love it ... thank you. I am 4'-10" tall (or rather short) I will probably make the medium size. Do you have the completed measurements, width and length.? Can I just make fewer rows if it is too long or will that change the overall shape? I'd hate to finish it and find that it doesn't fit.
Hello Nina, I have just checked the pattern and there are not any completed measurements. Yes it is very easy to adjust the length, easy as less or more rounds :)

You can use Aussie DK/double knit light worsted USA you can see more details on that in the written pattern .
When you follow the pattern, if you are using the thinner weight yarn, choose one size bigger

Yes you will use that size hook with that thickness of yarn. If you use the 8ply yarn it will turn out about 1 size smaller that the size on the video
