You are welcome, was fun to lay it all out.
The single cylinder briggs intek has lousy alloy head bolts, they stretch from the heat, causing blown head gaskets. I changed mine to grade 8 bolts, no more blown head gaskets. Good luck on your build.....Al Scott

P.S. I put concentrated antifreeze in a crock pot and heat it to clean pistons and parts for up to 24 hours, it works great and isn't corrosive....Al Scott

Just curious. Do you think you could have done this while its still in the mower?
Hmmm nope because you have to take the oil pan off to get to the rod bolts.
