Love this video. Please do more PC stuff cause I’m a recent PC gamer and I would to learn about what things I can customise with software and hardware. 👍

I was thinking of maybe doing a beginners guide to PC gaming with all the things I've found, hints and tips etc since switching. For modding there is also Mod Organizer 2. I prefer this as it keeps your game files clean and separate from mods. It also allows multiple other tool integrations. But overall I am so happy to see guys are bringing in a whole different topic on this channel.
I had low expectations since this is a gaming channel, but this proved to be pretty useful. I knew about a majority of this but some of it was stuff I hadn’t heard of but needed or better programs than what I’m currently using. Thanks Falcon and team!
I've been using macOS for the past 20 years, and just ordered a windows machine for gaming (my Steam Deck reeled me back in), so the timing of this video is perfect. Thanks for the great list!
Display fusion for multi monitors, controller companion to use your controller as a mouse, lossless cut/shutter encoder to cut/edit videos easily, voicemeeter to have different audio input/outputs, nvidia broadcast to add sound filter to your mic

This video made me realize how many free tools I use on my PC without noticing. Good stuff, good list. I use most of this. Also 12:24 the Anime version is the best working version, everyone should get that one.
Best retroarch description haha. I literally spent days setting everything up, especially on my crt monitor, only to play the games for a couple hours and never open it again.

Every other modder asking you to join their discord and going as far as disabling Steam comments is hyper annoying. We don't want to join 50 differnt discord servers for every single mod we download.
The problem with GoG Galaxy is that the integrations keep breaking, other than that; great list! Actually didn't have a few or have outdated versions of And to me your name is Frank Falcon from now on
Yea got the same issues with GOG Galaxy. Steam and ubisoft just won't connect. Maybe I need to try that other program that was mentioned earlier in the video
I have gone 100% Linux for a few years. Can play anything I own. Witcher, Cyberpunk, ARK, No Man's Sky, Vampyr, even Blizzard games, and many many others. Since Steam created the steamdeck, compatibility has increased greatly.
Thanks Falcon. The bird knocks it outta the park again. I would disagree with Gog Galaxy though as not been updated to intergrate with EA , Ubi or Steam anymore
Whenever I need to play an old game I just install an old windows version on a virtual machine and it works most of the time, but thanks for the software recommendations at the end of this video.

what a reddit take. Not every piece of free software is exploiting you. For starters you can just review open source code if you're a software dev and the repo is small enough Secondly just because you're being used as an audience to advertise to, it means both the consumer and developer wins. You get useful software, the Dev gets advertising revenue. Lastly, the software is free. Just don't use it if you don't want to be advertised at and stop whinging
Usefull stuff here. I'm such a huge fan of Good Old Games, it's my default place when buying new games. I love to know that I'm in control of the files to the point where if I want to let a friend play something I own, I can do that with GOGs DRM free installers.
Prism Launcher is a godsend for me. The ability to choose what folder do you want for Minecraft, install the version and modloader that you want, checks if Java is correctly installed and then you get implementation of Modrinth and CurseForge for mods? I couldn't ask more, finally I can have Minecraft in my secondary M2 ssd and multiple modpacks without having to move files or test stuff before actually playing
