I was in some underground club in L.A. around 91-92...kind of too early to be there it wasn't happening yet and the dancefloor was empty. Bjork walks in alone, gets on the floor and really let's it go, dancing completely alone, joyous, exuberant, mesmerizing. I'll never forget it.

I love her passion, and her facial expressions..She looks like a child that's discovering the happiness and madness of this world at the same time..
Edit: TY! FOR THE LIKES Y'ALL!MOST LIKES I EVER GOT! She is so unique and eccentric. No person will ever compare. Listen to her vocal range~~~beautiful..
True story I believe-someone I met online (yes..online..ikr) said they did happen to see her just by herself at a club, a type of place that's underground and low-key. They said that when she felt the music she just totally let loose and everybody was just blown away she was completely by herself and looked so free/natural/intense.. I wish I was there that night!

well, I'd go nuts over NY. in a bad way. when I signed books there, I felt like "so the reason Dave Gahan lives here is that 23 million people can't realize that he is a god". all music I heard was soulless crap like u2, bon jovi and bruce springsteen. the best memory is when my husband said "sorry, but I don't fuck hookers, you know" to Lady Gaga at the party we were invited to. at least 20% of the female guests were actually hookers and my husband had never seen her before, just heard about her. but I will never visit NY again. smokers are treated like criminals, while you can kill a whole planet with your car without punishment. the logic of NY has no logic.

She is the present incarnation of the Vanir goddess Freyja. She is technically the Queen of the Fae, if she ever claims her crown. You might know her as Kitsune. She is due to be here in this time, because of the Pestilence. She would only be in Iceland, because that is the home of Freyja, and it is where faith in the Elves has not wained as severely. It is also the reason why her personality is the personality of Freyja. It is so blindingly obvious, that it is a mark of the darkness of these times that it is not widely recognised.

I first caught on to Bjork when she was in The Sugar Cubes. She/them were so much more popular outside of her native Iceland than the rest of the World. She always reminded me of my one cousin when she was young. Had a similar face and facial expressions. I always enjoyed her music, but probably have a soft spot for it.

Big fan of this woman's immense creativity and genuine, unique persona. We need more of her in the music industry.
I also like Sednaoui's style. He's Kylie Minogue's ex-bf who also directed the mv for Towa Tei's GBI w/c featured KM.

Well Madonna has said she's inspired by Bjork, she even had a write a song for her, 'Bedtime Stories, for her album, of the same name. I heard she wanted Bjork to write and produce the whole album, but Bjork said no.

What should I say about Bjork? She is a fantastic, amazing, wonderful artist, full of talent. She is smart and unique! She is a songwriter, singer, has an unusual but excellent voice. Luckily I have ALL of your studio albums since Debut (1993), Post (1995), Homogenic (1997) and Vespertine (2001). Including the Greatest Hits (2002)! Bjork, honey, I have no more words to describe your talent, your artwork in general. You are unique and special. You are talented enough. You got your unique place, your Queen of Alternative Pop Music throne! Congratulations! You have a Portuguese fan who loves you with heart and soul! Best wishes my dear!

Björk Hi, Currently I can say that this song is in my list of life songs, I remember i was in my room i was only eleven years old and i was listening the radio, I remembered I was listening of Finally of CeCe Peniston and after that, the locutor told now we have a new song for you and started to play and after 3 seconds I realized that this song will change my live forever. Thanks. I love it since then. I´m from Guadalajara México
