The laws which God put forth do not change with the times and it never once said in Holy Scripture that the Pope is a legitimate bench warmer for Christ or can represent Him on His behalf. Lot's of heresies came out of the Catholic Church . Go look at what happened after the Schism. The Catholic church broke apart one piece at a time and created the Lutherans and from that came ten thousand bastardized versions of teachings on the Holy Scriptures. Only one Church remains the same as it did from it's induction, the Orthodox Church.
