I bet that 2 weeks booked up has changed very quickly, it's the mildest and yet busiest I've ever seen, I hope silly season hasn't been too brutal so far for you mate
It’s always worth pulling the cooker out when u survey as a lot of built under cookers don’t leave much room for the gas supply to the hob I think it’s a ploy to get electric or induction hobs installed
Can't believe customers don't clear work space for you prior.. Oh!.. and surprised the customer didn't pull the washing machine out before calling a plumber/gas eng.. And amazed they couldn't hear it ..Drip.. drip.. drip..
I just wanted to make sure there wouldn't be any significant drop in the working pressure, but yeah copper is expensive now! Luckily I'm good friends with my local scrappy so he gives me bundles on weight 👌🏾
Yeah it's good, definitely speeds up pipework but you have to take into account the cost and size of the fittings. Also sometimes you have to make sure you don't snooker yourself in a situation where you can't press in position. Both have their pros and cons but I do like pressing 👌🏾
Great video as always mate You seem a lot more chilled today and hopefully you stick to the game plan and stay that way 😂 Smarter is always better than harder 😎👍🤜
I live in France. Domestic copper pipe sizes are 10/12/14/16/18/22/32mm. Steel, galvanised & stainless are another story altogether. Imagine all the potential connectors, reducers and pipe clip variations. Fortunately all pipe diameters fit directly into the next size up or down and the pipe clips are metal 4 piece ( fixing screw, rose, stand-off & mounting clips which are single, double, triple or quad... with insulated and uninsulated variants). Potable water and CH can be soldered. Gas must be brazed (regulation). You should see my pipe bending kit! Imagine having a set of Hilmors with 6 guides! All apprentices are expert swagers. I'd love to try the press fitting kit you use in the UK but I simply couldn't afford it... even if such a kit existed here.
You are good and I will say it so be it. Kuldip Singh Matoo he's my ,😅🎉Dad work that out ❤ he's Pujabi I'm honestly English sort of Scottish so what what do yout t😮hink about that. You are good no one can take it away from you one no one. I think your videos help people and your just to say keeping making the vi deos please
What I will say to all gas engineers is not to try and blame everyone else for your failures, what I mean is because your shit at your job, don’t put blame on others that previously attended a job that you were sent to and are now pissed off with because you have no idea how to fix, don’t blame the previous engineer because your a lazy bastard, get as much information and help as you can so that you can learn how to fix things instead of putting blame on others, thanks

Yeah man it's a bloody weird one this year! I'm busy but not as many breakdowns as I would have liked. A lot of servicing and general maintenance
Big up,I was going through Graham's Catalogue this morning, I saw you in it mate. Well done big up
Ah nice one mate!
Yoooooooo! Elbow high level on a 45 angle pointing down then a small bend in pipework? Mate i watch all your videos. Legend.
Yup that would have worked too, but I'd already pressed that section in out of position
Just scrolling through reddit and saw you on a tradepoint ad 😅 had to come comment
Haha nice one mate 👊🏾
Great work pal 👍🏼
Thanks mate 👊🏾

Definitely mate
Man was doing formula 1 on the m11 on Friday tried to say hello
Oh yeah I was on a tight schedule on Friday 😂

I think because it was integrated they weren't sure how to, but at least it was a simple fix thankfully!
Great video! I was thinking 22inch pipe for a gas hob?? If only for the fact of how expensive copper pipe seems to be now 😱
I just wanted to make sure there wouldn't be any significant drop in the working pressure, but yeah copper is expensive now! Luckily I'm good friends with my local scrappy so he gives me bundles on weight 👌🏾
CM boiled up the dhood before u gas rated that 🤣💯
😂
Are boilers put in cupboards deliberately to contort and torture the engineer?. Fair play mate beware of injury just accessing the plate.
Probably 😂
Great job. How are you getting on with the press? Compared to soldering!

Haha definitely mate, gotta take a step back sometimes and look at the bigger picture 👊🏾👊🏾

Is that ok practice to leave the gas pipe on show as you did in your final job?
I'm new to the trade so genuinely interested
Yes absolutely nothing wrong with that
It's fine to do. No way I'd be having it on show personally though. I don't like the look.
@cputilitysolutions thanks
24:35 Bloody hell; did you suggest that they get an electric hob instead?
Did you not watch the video properly? They had an electric hob and wanted to change it to gas
@@cputilitysolutions "Properly"? No of course I don't watch your entire clickbaity videos.
@metallitech maybe you should, then at least you won't waste my time replying to your unnecessary comments
@@metallitech you only watch porntube yes?
