Elrs has all but grounded me... Between firmware updates and elrs configurator and bricking my TX (beta fpv lite radio 2 se)...so that I cannot even fly my brand new custom built 3.5 inch freestyle...is ridiculous... Whatever happened to turn on your drone and turn on your remote and fly???🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
turning on and flying has been my experience with elrs
Still flying here with Crossfire 😜
Your not alone,I'm still TBS till I run out of CRFR RX's or my module breaks down. I've had my setup since Grand Drone Prix in Dubai in 2016. ELRS format good for anyone starting out. Great channel by the way. Like your keeping up with the times...😊
That will be a double espresso for me. Starting out in FPV, I'm diving in to ELRS.
Coffee is Coffee ☕️
ALL are Good!
I will drink coffeehouse special roasted beans or if in a pinch truck stop coffee. All good to me too!
@@dronecampsyou all nasty lol
I already did last year since I'm saving a ton. It performs the same as TBS crossfire. However, 2 years ago, I had bad luck with Happy Model so I stayed with TBS. Last year, I tried Radiomaster Ranger TX and Foxeer 2.4Ghz RX. I'm very happy with it. No failsafes yet even at a place where it is infested with so many wifi hotspots.
Good to hear: this year we will be testing more in the mountains ⛰️
@@dronecamps Awesome! I haven't tried it yet but I've reached at least 1.5miles without any issues. Can't wait for your test :)
Be awesome if they would make a radiomaster pocket with built in 900mhz prob the only thing to tempt me to pick up a new system
Coffee its 3am. I have been using crossfire for the past 3 years. I just started flying ELRS because more F.C are coming out with ELRS built in. I don't know if I will ever stop using crossfire but if the price of the receivers keep costing more, i will be switching for good.
By the way, thanks for your awesome Content 🤘
I appreciate that! You’re welcome nerdfpv ☕️🤙🏼☕️🤙🏼☕️☕️☕️
I got most of my stuff 2.4ghz I have a 900 MHz elrs I'm wondering the range difference and penetration difference
Crossfire is better at ultimate range and penetration because of the lower frequency of 900mhz. Crossfire for life...
@@smooth_ops2942 Im not sure you understand the question elrs has 900mhz version too I was asking if the 900 MHz really has a noticable difference 👀 sounds like you think there is a difference ?
it is all good. a few of us were just busting your balls over the back to back videos with modules and the title "Crossfire is dead?". You have to expect a few jokes pushing back when you have click bait titles. I jokingly said "is crossfire now more dead" after the second video with same title. Dont over think things. You have been around 10yrs and will be around for 10 more.
I continue to question it because I’m always looking forward
@@dronecampsyeah but the ease of use with crossfire when it comes to flashing and updating, configuring, setting up mavlink ground station. Would be nice if they could get elrs to a point it's more plug and play, I would think radiomaster being one of the biggest companies to have built in elrs products would for sure be the best hope of seeing plug and play elrs in the near future
Black rifle coffee is my go to!
Oh yeah, black rifle is good. I tried the black beard version! 🤙🏼💯⚡️
@@dronecamps I prefer lighter roast coffee but all their roast are worth drinking!
As long as the signal is strong, I don't care what protocol I'm using
True that. Good news on the signal strength of the latest 915 Bandit test. 100% signal @126km.
Still on crossfire.. but yeah seeing that alot of fc's are getting elrs build in is a plus. Glad tbs finaly has a cli command to put the nano rx in bind mode.. thats something I expected 2 years ago.
For real. I think the bind button may be dead. Finally lol.
yes radio master is on point but xfire still does it for me every way, all the way
