Watching your videos made me want to see other videos on the KATY. After doing so, your videos are probably the best out there in quality and commentary. Thank you for sharing your travels.
Brian, Thanks for another installment. It is a bit of a ride down memory lane since I rode from west to east on the Katy. I think the section you rode here was my favorite of the entire trail. That's not to say that I didn't enjoy the whole ride but this is a fantastic stretch. Thanks again for sharing.
Thanks for the great scenes. It is heartwarming to know know there are still places like that trail side snack shack that people can still trust others to be honest and pay for items without someone watching!
So true! It’s nice to see places like that. We tend to make extra donations to those places to hopefully keep them around. It’s such a special thing to see them especially on long stretches without services.
What awesome scenery and finding those shelters is so cool. Never to early for ice cream. Now that's a motto I can get behind. Thanks for the video and take care, Al
Wonderful Day 4 ride on the Katy! You're so fortunate to still be able to spend some time with your Dad. Enjoy and treasure these moments as time passes so quickly. Brings back memories of hiking with him on the Appalachian Trail in Maine to the summit of Mt. Katahdin.
Awesome! I biked the Cowboy trail and headed north on the mickelson and ending in Rapid City in 2019 I think. There is a video series for it. Beautify scenery.
This is my area I ride in. Mostly between Boonville and Hartsburg. I go to Coopers and Rocheport for lunch almost once a week. We love the snack shack!
Ha, Ha, this is Brian's dad, Bill. Yep, I am 71 years young. Been cycling since 1978 and biked across America in 2009 with AAB! Oh yes, and love it when Brian says I can tag along!
So lovely 🌹,. I am enjoying hearing the bike spinning my new bike is quiet and I hate not hearing the spokes or whatever it is that sounds when not pedaling..do you have any tips on how to adjust it so I hear it or is that just how some companies make them now 😢
Hahah yeah sometimes it’s a little obnoxious. It’s the number of pawls inside the hub that make the sound. No way i know of to make one sound louder. Thanks for watching. :)

Hahah I have been saying that my whole life too, but never had anyone question it lol. Is it a mid-west thing?
