Your Video’s Are very very very Cool 😎 Brian 👍
Thank you!
@@bikingbrianYou Are Welcome.
Thanks, Brian 😁👍
Thank you!
Safe travels.
Thank you!
Thanks!
Great job buddy. I love these videos….. any chance of another Ebike adventure?
Thanks! Yes! I did a fall e-bike tour. I have one more series to produce before that one.
@ can’t wait!!
Do you like the change up of riding a non electric bike for touring?
Yeah, they don’t feel the exact same. I like both, but there is a bigger sense of freedom on a regular bike not chasing power outlets. Also regular biking is a littler bit slower so I tend to stop and smell the roses more often. With the e-bike though I get to cover more ground and see more but at a faster pace.
Good vid, thanks. I remember that Gravel trail. Quite the uphill climb up on that one, eh? No Dave in London?!
Oh yeah that was a fun climb. Dave was there, even a few seconds of video in the first few minutes.
Another great day of riding! Thanks Brian for sharing w us!!
Thanks!
I have some pics of London. Blew through there like a hurricane.
Great ride
Glad you enjoyed it!
Did you put Joey on blast 😅
Haha I did!
@bikingbrian 😆
Great video looking forward to riding it next year
You won't be disappointed!
@@bikingbrian wish there was more camping spots
Another good day in the books. Take care, Al
Thanks!
My bike has a 56AH battery with a 48V 500w hub motor with 212 miles of range im also in Cleveland lmao
Awesome!! You are the only other person I have heard of with that large of an e-bike battery! Thanks for watching.
Another great day of riding, I really miss the touring, Thanks so much for sharing with us!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
First time at the museum there we spent 5 hours to see everything, awesome stuff!😊
Yeah, a really awesome place for sure! Thanks for watching!
Fun video..... I asked about Dave when I stopped there in London on our OTET ride. The guy there said he was on vacation. The way he said it made it sound like it was permanent.
Hahah, I’ve been there 3 times since 2017 and every time I have talked to Dave. I would find it hard to believe if true. Super nice guy and keeps an eye on the place, just long winded. :)
Just east of where you are is Young's dairy. Great stop for some incredible Ice Cream! Thanks for taking us along your journey.
Thanks! I will have to stop there next time!
I made a camp shower like the one you used. I put a trigger actuated shower head on it. It’s great for showers, dishes, and bicycles!
That's awesome! I like the idea for bike cleaning.
Thanks for the ride along, Brian 😁👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
So nice 🤩
Glad you liked it!
Another great day. Bet that museum was awesome. How's your Dad doing? Thanks for the video and take care, Al
Amazing! Thanks for asking. The next series coming up is one I did with him and it was some epic riding for sure.
Went to the Wright Patt AFB museum couple decades ago. A revisit is in store.
Yeah, such a great place to visit!
That airplane museum is amazing - my parents took me there when I was a kid and I will never forget it !!
It really is! Thanks for watching.
Ah cool camping spot in Dayton there!
Yeah, pretty cool there are some others in the vicinity of downtown. Thanks for watching!
Some great riding and exploring. The museum sounds awesome was interesting I'm sure! Thanks so much for sharing w us, looking forward to the next days vid..
Glad you liked it! Should be releasing about 1 a week.
Glad to see you back on the dusty trail. Enjoy and stay safe! 😊
Thanks for the well wishes!
Good to see you back in the saddle Brian, I was starting to get withdrawal symptoms. Thanks for another great adventure.
Thanks so much for watching!
Im a 4 pannier bike tourer too. Can you weigh yourall's bike with fully loaded gear. I'm curious how the weight compares. Just roll the front, then rear wheel on a bathroom scale...then combine the weight. Of course this is probably May 2024(?) so no cold weather . Good video as always.
Well I don’t have the total weight but I did actually weight the panniers on that trip. 10 lbs in each front pannier and 12lbs for the rear pair. The handlebar bag is probably around 8lbs. This includes some warmer clothing since early May is unpredictable. Also had my camping chair with. 40lbs + the bike (steel) is about 30lbs as configured.
Thx. @@bikingbrian
It's funny when you watch a video, and someone is riding some strange trail you have rode before or camping in a spot you camped in. Keep it up Brian!!!
Very cool! Thanks for watching!
Love the content! Too bad about tthat fish.
Yeah it was a bummer! But the trail was great, though.
Welcome to my home stretch of trails! I hope the rest of OTET went well for you, it's a great route.
It's a beautiful trail for sure! I was very impressed with the area.
Love the dinging at the geese 😅
Yeah those geese were not wanting to move lol.
Are you on a pedal bike this time?
Yup on my regular bike this trip. Space horse disc.
@bikingbrian nice! So strong 💪
I love your rides and the adventures that you are on.
Thanks so much for watching!
@ my pleasure
I always appreciate you posting your bike adventures.🙏
I’m glad you enjoy them!
Brian, I've been to the Air Force museum there and it's incredible. Hope you enjoyed it as well. Thanks for sharing your ride.
I was really impressed with the museum, it's an amazing place!
Great adventure! Thanks, Brian 😁👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the ride along, Brian 😁👍
Thanks so much for watching!
Looks like you are having fun.
It was a blast!
Awesome, Brian! I grew up north of Dayton and lived in Beavercreek for over 20 years. Ridden many a mile on the trail from Bravercreeks, Community Park,. You went right by it. There's a nice place to camp back behind the brewery there, too. Im sure you were aware of it due to not missing a brewery opportunity. Carillon Park, "Care-eh-lawn". Sorry, I couldn't resist. 😅 Enjoyed the video as always!
Thanks for the info and the Carillon Park correction. 😉
Nice day with a lot of small adventures. Nice turtle. Thanks for the video and take care, Al
Yeah it was a blast!
Yeah it was a blast!
Side trips are good you get to see a lot more than what the main trail has to offer. That little tiny turtle 🐢 was really cool and you saved this man's fishing pole. Your tour brings back memories of my own ride but you are getting to see a lot more than me. Are you guys planning to stay overnight at London's trail head, it's an awesome place to camp. Enjoy the ride 👍😊
@@FollowThomas yeah really enjoying all the side trip action and not just hammering down miles. Yeah we stayed in London! One of my fav camping spots on the trail.
LOVE THE MUSIC
Thanks for watching!
Great video, and I like your series. I'm trying to learn about this stuff: let's say you have two batteries, each with the same voltage but half the capacity of yours. Can both be charged simultaneously via a battery blender using one of your chargers? Would that take the same amount of time or am I completely off track? The idea here is to spread the weight of the energy store across two rear panniers
2 batteries would work but I don’t think just splitting them for charging would work the same. Probably best to just have 2 chargers with 1/2 the charge rate. That way you’d have a backup too if one failed. This is the way to go with commercial off the shelf batteries. The larger the battery the faster the charge it can take without damaging or killing the lifespan.
Nice! Keep up the good work and ride safe.
Thanks! I will. Appreciate it.
I'll be following along. Just started planning this trip myself for next May.
Awesome! It’s a great trail system!
Greetings and welcome to Ohio! Safe travels. Might cross paths with you in my stomping grounds in your home stretch between Akron and Cleveland.
Thanks for the welcome! This was done in May so probably won’t cross paths ;).
Atta Boy Brian!!
Awesome, Brian! I've been waiting on this series... Brings back memories of my June trip on the northerly route. Stopped at the Hearthstone Inn in Cedarville the first day. I know you're familiar with that stop. Looming forward to part 2!
Glad you're enjoying it! The Hearthstone Inn is a great place to stop for sure!
OTET is great! I live off of it near akron. Safe travels and stay warm! Maybe I will catch you on the trail.
Thanks so much for watching. Lucky to be so close.
