Ok ehm, well, i agree with you if we think of gold efficiency in a straight way. I don't know if i'm the only one seeing it differently, but, obviously, when i deal with that, i do calculate the efficiency according to the stats, but then there's another mandatory step which is : comparing the different passives and how it could work in this meta with my champ. I didn't expect people to only think about flat stats, it doesn't make sense with all these specific facts in each item
Gold efficiency doesnt matter in low elo, but youre hurting ambitious people that wanna improve with this kind of knowledge. That's why silvers shouldnt make educational videos on yt.

Often, people say something like "This item is weak because it got 87% gold efficiency". I made this video to show that gold efficiency doesn't indicate the real strength of an item. Item with 115% gold efficiency could be much weaker than item with 33% gold efficiency, I explained everything in 2:34.
