    Put a real trigger guard on your KEL-TEC SUB-2000 that won't flex or warp when folding the barrel assembly in half. The MCARBO Machined Aluminum Trigger Guard was designed to put you in more control of your SUB-2000. The major advantage in having the KEL TEC SUB-2000 Aluminum Trigger Guard is that it won’t flex or break like the plastic trigger guard. That flimsy plastic trigger guard will eventually break when it's most needed to perform in a real world situation.
    Another advantage is the wider smooth base of the trigger guard that makes it a much better platform to use when shooting from a supported position. With the removal of the hump in the middle from the plastic trigger guard, this improved Aluminum Trigger Guard provides a smooth level surface to help support your shooting position with. It's also wider and much easier to grab to deploy the lever in order to quickly fold the barrel assembly in seconds.
    The Aluminum Trigger Guard has been machined to tighter tolerances so that it won't wobble or move from side to side like the plastic guard. These common KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Trigger Guard Problems can be resolved with the new Machined Aluminum KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Trigger Guard from MCARBO. The KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Trigger Guard by MCARBO is CNC milled out of a block of 6061 aircraft grade aluminum, then tumbled and chamfered to remove sharp corners and finally hard platted with black anodizing to give it superior strength and a premium lifetime finish. This is the Ultimate Machined Aluminum Trigger Guard for your SUB-2000 that will out last and out perform the factory plastic trigger guard. T
    his is one of the best improvements you can make to your KEL-TEC SUB-2000 aside from the KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Trigger Spring Kit which will reduce your trigger pull from 7.5 lbs to a modified 5.25 lbs and the KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Target Trigger to get rid of the trigger flex.
    The Target Trigger and Aluminum Trigger Guard are a matching pair that are machined together and anodized at the same time for a matching premium finish. Get all three to install at the same time to save yourself the time of opening up your SUB-2000 again after you realize the plastic trigger guard is not the ideal solution for a lifetime of use. The KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Aluminum Trigger Guard Upgrade will fit both the Gen 1 and Gen 2 models. MCARBO had the shooter in mind when we designed the KEL-TEC SUB 2000 Aftermarket Aluminum Trigger Guard to correct all of the factory trigger guard problems. Don’t’ wait any longer to upgrade your trigger guard with much needed aftermarket performance.

    Chris and the MCARBO team are by far the best aftermarket company for Kel Tec. Their support for the sub2k is astounding. Trigger and trigger spring job, single point sling mount, aluminum trigger guard, charging handles, the list goes on. Their upgrades + midwest industries optic mount make the Sub2k the premier pistol caliber carbine, hands down.

      Thanks Brother, we appreciate your support! We've got plenty more on the way for the SUB-2000. Our Universal Optics Mount will be released later this month. I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback on it. Thanks again,

      MCARBO Sounds interesting! Are you guys going to do a rear sight upgrade anytime soon?

    • @MCARBO
      @MCARBO  7 лет назад

      Yes Sir! We plan on having two different options for the stock height rear sight available soon. The notch sight similar to what you would have on a pistol and the peep sight similar to what is there now but in aluminum and the ability to flip it up and down. We have more planned for the iron sights but this will be the starting point.

    MCARBO, have you ever thought about contacting Nutnfancy, Hank Strange and Mac from the Military Arms Channel to have them do a comparison of the Sub 2000 Gen 2 before and after the installation of your parts. I think that would be great to see.

    • @MCARBO
      @MCARBO  7 лет назад +4

      Yes I agree! We've sent emails and parts but still nothing. I'm not sure how they operate but would really like to get them to review our products. Maybe we need to try a different approach. Let me know if you have an idea? Anybody that personally knows these guys, it would be a big help to get a friendly introduction. Thanks for your Support!

      MCARBO Maybe try contacting Chad Ennius who's a representative for Kel-Tec & see if he can get Nutnfancy or Hank Strange to do a comparison video. I'm on Hanks Strange Facebook page so I'll throw it at him & see what he saids. Merry Christmas

      Thanks Brother! We appreciate your support. Send me an email with Chad Ennius's contact info if you have it. I do have a contact on the inside at KEL TEC. We hooked up the KEL TEC Shooting Team with 12 Trigger Spring Kits 8 months ago and we're still in contact. I'm planning on taking a visit to KEL TEC one day soon since they are only 3 hours away. I'll see if they will let me make a video of the trip! Happy New Year!

    Love your videos. Makes me feel confident in purchasing your products. Aluminum mag release has got to be next.

    • @MCARBO
      @MCARBO  8 лет назад +2

      Thanks for the support! We appreciate the feedback. I think an Aluminum Mag Release is getting traction. If the demand is there we will make one. The only problem with the mag release is that there are a variety of factory pistol magazines from Glock, Smith & Wesson, Beretta and SIG that we would have to make special variations for each type. We're definitely up to the challenge if the demand is there. I'd bet the Glock mags would be first since they are the most popular. You tell me?

      Mine is a Beretta M9/92f - which come to find, is actually not Beretta.
      Branded: Mec-Gar...
      and after a bit of foreplay with the S&W MP Shield, walked over to a gung hoe with a CZ-75. I'll be damned.
      Same freaking mags. Then I wondered, well since the Sub2K also offers a Sig 226... Well SOB... Also Mec-Gar mags.
      Yes, the release slots (in mag) will vary from model to model, the main variance is the location of the slot in position to length of insert (the slot differences are minor) which doesn't affect the mag release mech (position affixed to the polymer grip).
      Synopsis: if you DO produce these, it would be two base models = one for the Glock & one for the other variants.
      The Sig, S&W, Beretta (which compat CZ) would only need one machined part - which could then be narrowed by slightly shaving the catch for the discrepancies of other models.
      Have a look at these mags side x side - you'll see what I'm blathering about.

    Just got my MCARBO trigger guard in the mail today and IT IS NOT WIDER than the stock trigger guard, it has a very minuscule difference in width. They must have redesigned these.... in that redesign they decided to put the “knobs” back into the trigger guard... it also seems thinner than the one shown in the video.

    • @teacopem

    • @nickboutin857

      @@teacopem do it yourself not that bad at all to install. I wish I bought the curved trigger…. I’m thinking I wouldn’t have had to buy the trigger guard if I went with the curved one.
      Edit: trigger is the best upgrade and worth it. I only bought the trigger guard because the upgraded mcarbo trigger STILL rubbed on the stock plastic trigger guard, so I only bought the mcarbo TG to get the function of the upgraded trigger (which was kind of sad to me)

    I took the Gen 1 halves apart to clean it inside and investigate. I noticed the pin that holds the hammer and hammer spring was bent which wouldn't allow the hammer to cock back fully now...ahaaaa. Here in Canada we didn't(then) have the luxury to call Kel Tec for a new one or send it back to them(since opening the halves VOIDS the warrantee according to the distributor here in Canada)but I managed to straighten it out and cleaned it up and carefully put it all back together. I shot another 400 rounds better than ever until that pin broke.Telling the repair distributor costed me $150 to repair it BECAUSE I opened it up...
    Is this the same in the US?

      Hi Donovan,
      Thank you for you input! We've had a few requests for an improved buffer and it's definitely on our to do list. Anybody else want to see an improved Aluminum Buffer with T-handle locking mechanism to allow more positive control and faster deployment of the carbine? All ideas and input are welcome here. • @KJRUSS0
    @KJRUSS0 8 лет назад

    If you're looking for more ideas, I'm not a fan of the cheap plastic rear sight, anyway you could create a machine steel or aluminum version? Also, cylindrical knurled charging handle would be a huge improvement, as well as a more positive metal mag release.
    Awesome products by the way!

    • @MCARBO
      @MCARBO  8 лет назад +1

      Thanks Kyle! We appreciate the ideas and feedback. We're in the process of creating a front and rear sight that will have a .300" higher line of sight over the factory sights. They will be machined aluminum and will both flip up and down. I like the charging handle idea and aluminum mag release. There's a very good chance we will do both of those if the demand is there. Thanks again.

      We would like to eventually make one but they will be expensive. KEL-TEC used to make the SUB-9 with an Aluminum receiver. They only made 3,500 of them then discontinued it all together. BUT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! this is supposed to be an install video. I already and so have most people bought the friggn part. You did the First Almost 5 minutes with the sales pitch. Save that for another video. Like a description video. And near the end here we go again. Please stick to a video that’s truly a install video. I wish I was a better word smith because I certainly don’t want to come across as some know it all. I’m not that’s why I’m watching the video. But hey 27 and a half minutes for this video is ridiculous. Also from a Vietnam veteran to another brother. Thank you for your service.
