My dad used to sing this when I was a little girl, nearly 50 years ago. What great memories. Thank you to whomever posted it.

My dad whistled this tune all the time for it was his Lullaby as a kid. My grandmother's birds song this all the time. This reminds so much of my childhood and brings back memories of me spending time with my father and grandmother. 😊

I was eight when I first heard this song at the Square dances my parents took me to. I started singing it on my own after that at that age still.

A pleasant "blast from the past". But it isn't really a blast, it's a gentle & pleasant memory from the past.

By special request our band will be performing this great tune to help celebrate a golden, 50 year anniversary occasion! I am trying to find the lyrics to it but so far have not found them. You wouldn't happen to have them would you? Doing it as an instrumental is another option. Thanks for sharing! :)

"Coby" Jones is the female singer. The male singer is Dude Jackson, brother of another well-known singer from that time and place, Ginny Jackson.
