The owner of the parked car was sitting in his car while this happened. The initial hit didn't leave too much damage and the owner was planning to let the lady go. As she was pulling to leave, she hits the car a second time, much harder this time. Upon being asked for her driver's license, the lady pulls out a Zellers card (those still exist?!) and was incomprehensible when speaking. The police later came and arrested her on the spot for driving while under the influence.
Had the owner of the car not been sitting there, she would definitely have taken off. Thankfully, the dash cam was able to capture their license plate even if they had taken off.
Glad they caught her! Another intoxicated driver off the roads! Rip new Grand Cherokee.

I would not have walked that close behind the car, she looked the type to just slam it in reverse.

dui hit run = no insurance so the parked cars collision picks up the cost of repairs so it the pickups insurance that covers the cost.
