  • This is a CGI/Visualization run through of the opening sequence of the Magic Kingdom's newest nighttime spectacular- Happily Ever After. This was a culmination of months of work to produce the highest quality- and most accurate- replication of a true work of art. Photoshop, After Effects, and a pyrotechnic program called ShowSim 3D were used to create all the effects seen in the video. 30+ layers were produced to create 3 distinguishable looks for the castle- including the gold embellishments and realistic shadows. Nearly 15,000 keyframes were used to program 38 spotlights to replicate the twisting and sweeping motion of the lights used. Took days to learn and master a simple projection mapping technique to replicate the "sparkle" that comes out from the doorway of the castle. This was a true labor of love, and I hope you all enjoy it!

this is the best digital recreation of the Disney show I have ever seen!! I really want to get a model of the castle and I have been thinking about doing a mini projection show for myself and I think a full version of this show would be great. I don't want that last statement to be taken wrong. I can't get the model for a while from the situation I'm in but I still would love to see the full show because you did a better job than I could ever do and it's the most amazing thing I have seen made out of full CGI that is perfectly timed to real life audio. everything that you do on your channel is a real dedication to a magical place and you do such a great job with not just straight up copying and pasting the projections on to the CGI model. I just yesterday got a drawing tablet and now I know exactly what I'm going to use it for. You are so amazing and you should keep up the good work. I'll be telling some more of the Disney community about you and I usually don't do that. only really the best of channels that need some recognition are shared by me. I just think it would be tiring to do that for every good youtuber I find and also most of them are already famous so they don't really need the recognition that others would give them. you work so are just to bring us this final product for the opening and I think you should always keep doing what you are doing. I don't want you to feel obligated to work on the rest of the show right away because everyone especially people who just learned a new skill should be able to play around with the new skills they have. and also the people who work on this stuff even for a bit at a time need a break because they finally got it out of the way and made something they should be proud of for some time. you just got this big project that you learned so much from and now you should be able to take a break and look back at all the things you have worked on. this has gotten to be the longest comment I have ever wrote and I think that is a good thing because I feel like I put a bunch of positivity in this and anyone who reads this could learn the same thing I did. you don't need to work constantly on a project and stay up late just to get it done. and what I have learned from watching smaller youtuber grow bigger is that for a while they feel like they need to do these things constantly to get a product out to the fans and while that's a niceish mindset you should also focus on the quality and your own health. these are things anyone can use. people in school probably would work late for a school project and homework. people with jobs will sacrifice their health for a spreadsheet. and then people who retire realize because they did this stuff when they were younger they messed up with the long term and ended up not being able to do the things they really wanted to do. wow, I feel like we got off track. but anyway, keep doing what you are doing. if you start to realize you are starving yourself or are tired all the time try and fix that and you are amazing. Thank you for coming to my TEDtalk.

Fantastic! I am 3d printing a castle as a gift for a friend. Any chance you would sell your high def files? My friend has a projector, so I think they would love to do this.
