That woman was not a hairdresser; she was a barber! Give her trimmers? She's good. Throw a bowl of hair color in her hands? She chemically burns scalps LOL
Why do people do this at home and why is it always wanting to go from black its never sandy brown to platinum or dark blonde which you can achieve with one bleach
I’m a qualified hairdresser/barber/assessor & there’s no way I would’ve done so many bleaches is one go.....as 4 her “friend”, if she worked 4 me she’d be either sacked or sent back to college....ridiculous!
Dear hair Buddha, I have learned so much from watching your videos and you have saved me from a disaster like this video. I am enjoying my senior years as platinum and getting lots of compliments on my hair. More than once I’ve had ladies asked me where I get my hair color done and I tell them I do it myself. I often mention your channel to other friends that like my hair now. Thank you again so much. Good luck to you.
I'm so glad to hear that my videos have helped you achieve your gorgeous platinum look! It’s amazing to know you’re inspiring others too. Keep shining!
Sometimes I wonder if the people that help are truly their friends! Man if someone asked me to help them I'd say NO WAY cuz I'm not a hairdresser and I'd feel horrible if I mess up their hair.

So I'm not a hairdresser by any means, just really into learning about it. I want to go to school at some point. Just basic online research can go MILES into helping you bleach your hair. I recently bleached my hair. I did one bleaching, on virgin hair, and I had missed a spot, so I only went over that one spot. Then I waited two days before applying a protein treatment. About a week after the first bleach, I applied a low strength bleach bath, just to tone down some of the orange. Then a week later, I re-bleached with a low volume bleach, and my hair is pretty close to where I want it to be. I used no heat or chemical products in between processes. It's not even, but it's not noticeably inconsistent. Just really white near my ears, and more yellow toward the end of my bangs. Rather than use a toner, I purchased a purple shampoo and conditioner, to continue to use, just to keep anymore yellow from coming back, and hopefully help tone what little yellow is left, to just a softer hue. I lost no more hair than I usually do in the shower. No chemical burns, no breakage. My scalp has been more dry, but I suffer from psoriasis, so nothing a little Head & Shoulders can't help. My hair is healthy looking, super soft and fluffy, and my curl pattern is thriving. I'm naturally a really dark blonde, brunette in the winter, so I knew I wasn't going to get that honey white Marilyn Monroe color in under two weeks. So people with brown to black hair really need to just suffer through those orange phases for a week or two, and let your hair rest. I do suggest going to a salon, if you aren't like me, and want to learn to do these processes as professional as possible. I have a hairdresser friend who teaches me loads, and I do a LOT of online research. I currently cut and color not only my own hair, but my siblings', and partner's. None of us have gone to a professional in at least 5-6 years. But it is a huge risk, and needs to be approached carefully. Thanks for reading this far. I tend to ramble on. 👍

This one really upset me. I felt like she wanted so badly for them to like her that she’d put up with anything. Which is exactly why they knew they could do this. I hope she has learned that standing up for yourself is what matters and how to make friends.

I feel very lucky because I was colouring and bleaching my hair by myself all through my late teens and early 20s. I went to Cosmetology school when I was 22 and 23. My hair never fell out, and it always looked at the very least okay. Again I county myself very lucky
Oh dear Lord! I've been watching your hair bleach/color fail reacts and hair fail compilations the last couple days because I've had bad bleaching fails, even from professionals and this is why I pay attention to what's going on when I'm having my hair done! I already have fine, thin hair and I could never stand losing SO MUCH hair as I have seen with other bleaching fails! P.S. My love, we both know this is a much LONGER method to get short hair 😂❤
Oh, my! Speaking of undercut, about 14 years ago, I wanted my fine, wavy/curly and colored blonde from brunette hair cut very short and straightened; I liked that spikey look, which I couldn’t get with my hair texture. My hairdresser, a very lovely Vietnamese lady who knew my hair well, said she had just received a chemical straightener that was created specifically for fine hair. Yay! She did my hair and I loved the way it looked. However...there were some awful side effects: 1) the skin around my eyes peeled in onion skin thin pieces of flesh for weeks on end. I had to quit wearing eye makeup; 2) it left a lingering stink of perm solution (which I guess is what a chemical straightener really is!); and 3) though not visible, when I ran my fingers through my fun, spikey hair, it felt as if I had a buzz cut underneath it! As much as I loved the way it looked, no more chemical straighteners for me! I let it grow out to a length I could use a flat iron on (and carefully!). Now, at 71 and 7 1/2 months into the pandemic, I am, like many other women my age, letting it go it’s natural gray after coloring for over 50 years. It isn’t as pretty, even gray/silver/white as I hoped it would be at 71, and I keep it super short; but, I intend to hang in there and, as my 16 yr. old great niece told me, “Embrace” my age! 😆 (kids! 🤦🏻♀️)
Don't get me wrong, you're niece is right. :-) Embrace what you have. Now you can rock this short hair, you wanted as a teenager. :-) This is your time! And if you want color, just by hair-chalk, that comes in ALL colours of the rainbow and washes out very fast, if you are tired of it. :-)
I don't care if the quarentine is going to last 3 months. I'm not daring to cut my hair. I'll wait for my hairstylist. I can't understand these do it yourself videos... Hair Buddah thank you so much for your content in these times. Please keep up the good work. I've been watching your videos for days since I've found you. I'm glad I did found you. I can't understand why people would attempt to make such a radical color change without doing extensive research about the products and how they work on your own hair type. I have been using red henna for 9 years, always done it on my own, but it's a natural product that won't harm me or my hair. I read up on henna and carefully researched multiple brands before deciding what I wanted to use, and I saved the sheds from my brush for several weeks ahead of time to test dye to make sure the color change did in fact look good to me. Also, the ONLY time I ever use heat on my hair is when I am warming the henna mud under a plastic bag or warming a deep conditioner (because I have low porosity) which is also wet under a shower cap. Otherwise exclusively air dried for 9-10 years. I have no split ends at all.
I have very resistant hair. I always lift yellow/orange. So instead of burning my hair off, I use a mixture of blue and purple manic panic with a deep conditioner. It tones it down just enough that Im comfortable walking around with it while I work on improving my hairs condition. By the time the manic panic washes out, I can lift it to yellow without my hair melting off
I have seen this on Brad Mondo's channel too, and it upsets me that her friends couldn't care less about her hair. I loved seeing your take on this video, because of the way you explain everything. Once upon a time, I had blond hair.. my normal hair color is about as dark brown as it can be without being black. Needless to say, it didn't feel particularly healthy because I also have natural curls to my hair. My hair was all the way down to my butt. In the end, I got it cut up to above my shoulders and had dyed, by a professional back to my natural color. After that, I didn't touch my hair again other than to keep cutting the damaged hair off. Now here we are 15 years later, I kept my hair shorter, and only color it once in a while because of grey hairs. If one day my hair starts to grow out all white, I will keep it.
OMG. I can now understand what my previous hairdresser did wrong. Ny scalp burned and iched so badky That I at last was crying and begging and telling her That there lyst be something wrong because I was sure That nothingbin a hairdresser salon should hirt so much. My hair del of like the girl in That video i was in the salon for a bleaching og my regrowth, and a Grey colour hair because the one I for the week before already rundede out the finest time I got in the shower. And the week before IT rinsed out in the rain in my way home from the hairdresser. I got Burns swellings BLEEDING holes in my scalp and I could not sleep because the heat og the pillow against my scalp felt like fire. And the break ofs felt like sleeping on Stubles. I have now a new hairdresser. She is pefect. Thanks for your channel. Love your video's
Her hair was jet-black how did she think she was going to get to platinum without completely destroying her hair🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ I'm surprised she didn't shave her head
I remember when I used to bleach my hair 4 years ago. I had like 3 mirrors to see the back properly. My natural hair color is BLACK! And I would use like 6-8 box dyes cause my hair was long, the woman on the box had platinum blonde hair. I had no idea how to do it properly but I tried and I did get hot roots. Started in the back and would only do the back and not the front because of time. I wanted to do the front AFTER I was completly done with the back. I applied the product on very thickly! I got that part right cause there was absolutely no black or brown after the first bleach. Every hairstrand 💕 after rinsing out and drying my hair I was happy with the result and continued with the front. So basically I only bleached my hair once on every hairstrand. It got light enough to tone it with hot pink, think the color was flamingo pink from directions. Their product washes out pretty fast but it was alright with me, it only deposited the pink color but didn't damage my hair further. I looked pretty awesome :D sorry for long text but I was really amazed how I could go from black to hot pink 💕 wish I could show pictures
Omg i would been screaming n crying if that was my hair but i would never done that to my hair in the first place lol go to a professional people geez lol
Even with the terrible damage they did to this poor soul she is still way prettier than they are. Inside and out. Now she needs to realize and accept her value and I sincerely hope she has or will soon.
When its wet.....don't touch. Its so weak when its wet and also melted. Snot hair. I've seen hair like that totally heal itself just by putting in conditioner and letting it air dry and not touching it for 3-4 days. Those protein bounds will try and go back together. And its better to break up the appointment...... book out several days and layer the process. Hair can only go so far in one day.
Once I saw that back of her hair I thought oh 😯 an asymmetrical hair cut would look dope on her. It would show off the design and fix that part of breakage to blend.
How can she know proffesional hair cutting and not be way older? She messed it up on purpose, all hairstyles take hair dying courses even barbers. Older girls should know when is ok to laugh and is time to apologize. The young girl was beyond humble and at least the hair stylist is a walking dishonor.
I've been bleaching for many years without any hiccups from home with boxed. I think many home fails is that many don't get their selves familiar with what type of hair they have to begin with. Knowing your hair type and familiar yourself with techniques will have a better outcome.
So that chick who was bleaching and toning her hair, apparently she is a hairdresser or Training to be one. I hope that no one hires her and if she does get a position I hope no one has to go through this.
All that beautiful hair!! That poor girl! (She’s lucky she has such a pretty face. A pixie would have been beautiful on her. You’re also right, the undercut was too high!! Just a pixie would have fixed it. How sad!!)
You cannot get white hair or pale blonde hair in a few days, it takes a month or a few weeks at best. Unless someone has naturally light brown hair , it can get light enough in a couple bleaches or so , I'd know because I have light brown hair naturally

By the time the manic panic washes out, I can lift it to yellow without my hair melting off
Same! Literally took me forever to get to white because my hair just doesn't take to chemicals.
Toxic friends!! They don't care as long as they got a laugh! Cut them out babe!!!
I feel like a lot of people don't see toning as a process that can be just as damaging as any other colouring.
People can be very stupid.
Yes, Toning is also coloring.
I don't get why people are so reckless with their hair.
Your clothes make you look like a burglar today! Love it.
I like your commentary! You should do more!!!^^
THX, i will make more

Please do more reaction videos!! I love watching them!!
Your reactions are golden it’s like you are watching an R rated movie hahaha
Her hair was jet-black how did she think she was going to get to platinum without completely destroying her hair🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ I'm surprised she didn't shave her head
I totally agree I wouldn’t be blaming her friends she wanted this
You seem more upset then she was about her hair falling out.
Liz Dempsey He cares about a healthy hair more than her :)
I’m sure she was upset but didn’t know how to react.
Love your reacts. Poor girl what a nightmare this would be! 😮🤦🏼♀️
That girl that did that to her hair is pure evil 😈
Yes, if your hair is melted you can repair the bounds but it will take time.
Love this video! Love your accent, keep it up dude!
thanks
Hello! I think she is doing it again and again and again… because she is so beautiful she knows she is going to be great with no hair at all!!
😄
Fine hair, curly hair, greasy hair… no hair. This takes me back to that Dusk ‘till Dawn speech 😂
The kind of 'friends' who would cheat with her boyfriend and blame her. Those are the vibes.
Love the Reaction video. Both please. I am learning so much.
Horror! Thank you Men ❤
For that I don't bleach or change colour to my hair
They are so stupid to trust other people!
Nîce video!
THX
LOVE these vids! Keep ‘em coming!
Happy Valentine Day Mr. Hair Buddha !
Once I saw that back of her hair I thought oh 😯 an asymmetrical hair cut would look dope on her. It would show off the design and fix that part of breakage to blend.
Really love the trimmed beard ❤ yes, these bleaching stories are pretty scary
We always used elastic bags to cover. Keeps in enough heat, plus, you can see what the hair is doing.
Hair Buddha … “She’s still smiling, I don’t know why?” 😂 ❤
How can she know proffesional hair cutting and not be way older? She messed it up on purpose, all hairstyles take hair dying courses even barbers. Older girls should know when is ok to laugh and is time to apologize. The young girl was beyond humble and at least the hair stylist is a walking dishonor.
This girl let herself be the amusement for her enemies. She has no self respect. So sad to watch.
I've been bleaching for many years without any hiccups from home with boxed. I think many home fails is that many don't get their selves familiar with what type of hair they have to begin with. Knowing your hair type and familiar yourself with techniques will have a better outcome.
She did something wrong to her friend and I think this is payback 😱
Nikki J 🤣🤣🤣
A good reason why they could be laughing is anxious laughs. It's happened to me so many times
So that chick who was bleaching and toning her hair, apparently she is a hairdresser or Training to be one. I hope that no one hires her and if she does get a position I hope no one has to go through this.
We would love more of both.
I shouldn’t laugh at his horror and distress, but it’s just quality entertainment 😩
She needs re-think her friendships
the laughter fades....as the hair falls....
All that beautiful hair!! That poor girl! (She’s lucky she has such a pretty face. A pixie would have been beautiful on her. You’re also right, the undercut was too high!! Just a pixie would have fixed it. How sad!!)
As a hairstylist myself I had a very hard time watching this 🤣
I'm suffering every time
You look so cute with a beanie
Thx
You cannot get white hair or pale blonde hair in a few days, it takes a month or a few weeks at best. Unless someone has naturally light brown hair , it can get light enough in a couple bleaches or so , I'd know because I have light brown hair naturally
This depends on hair type. My natural hair is about level 3...pretty dark. I can get it to platinum in one session.
Question for the master. My hair is natural silver, but my husband smokes and my hair is nicotine stained. Will a clarifying shampoo be enough?
