Well im not sure about issue with the 305 but based on the video id rebuild it just to make use of the history of the vett although its not number matched it would be as close to rare you can get in another 10 or 15 years🤔. Might be worth it.
Definitely worth considering. Plus it’s already got a decent cam in it and 416 heads. Maybe some mild porting and it could be a good setup for the Vette.
@@markgamble8377 I can see both sides of the 305 debates. If it’s what someone already has I say go for it. Not worth spending a fortune on though imo. Watch Richard Holdener’s 305 underdog videos. Good videos.
As long as the 305 gets the vette running and back on the road
That’s the current plan. I’ve been frustrated with the vette for a little while but I’ll get back on it soon.
It's hard to make 305 fast, its no 355 but... big but doesn't mean 305's not fun. A 305 with cam and right exhaust sounds really good.
I agree. Thanks for watching
My 77 has the factory 305 quadrajet carb and headers , makes a fun cruiser!
Sounds like a cool ride!

@@CarGuyV8 I saw that and yeah the 305 I spoke of was well treated one owner and mainly highway driven.
