It's funny seeing the age range of people who watch it. I told my parent's about Naruto a few years ago brought them right up to date and it got them interested in his story. They never watched it but always wanted updates. Now it's gotten so interesting (in the anime) i'll be like "Ok so this is happening and that's happening now" and they're like "When is the next episode?" "On Friday?" "Ok we're in too". So they've gotten so interested in it they've seen probably two or three episodes with me now haha. They were shocked when it got to Naruto and Sasuke dying. It's a pretty awesome show, i just hate how they're dragging it out. I'm too fucking old to watch it myself let alone them, but i really want to see how it ends.
When someone tells me they don’t like Naruto it just blows my mind. The stories, characters, and OST’s are just phenomenal and so emotionally charged it’s crazy. This cover was beautiful. Got me crying like bushier brows Sensei 😭
I initially didn't grow into it because I was too narrow-minded just because of Dragonball Z. But when I gave it a chance last year, it did start slow on me, and as of now, I FUCKIN love watching Naruto. You nailed it too as of my reasons of liking it too; The characters, stories, OSTs, and just finding a way to connect with EVERY character too and this anime made me tear up more than any other anime.
The characters are terribly written, 80% of them are just a background for the main character (not even " main characters"). Stories are mostly boring and narrow-minded, since all the villains come to agree with Naruto's ideals abounding their own beliefs. Neither of ninja world problems were solved after the "great victory" and we got back to the good old "patriotism, family and good ild guy kicking bad guy's ads". That's why people find this anime boring, leave alone all the dissbalence of power and screwing the concept of restricted amount of chakra.
Idk, the more I grow up the more boring I find it, there was no development for most characters, Shikamaru might be the only member outside team 7 that got some recognition, but the other teams? They were made so poorly.. Even the story has its own flaws, I will never get over how Naruto and Hinata’s relationship didn’t start right after Pain’s arc, like why? Why make Hinata confess her love right before sacrificing herself if they are both gonna act like that interaction never happened?? In the manga there wasn’t even a fight, the studio tried to give Hinata some justice instead of the humiliation Kishimoto gave her. Then once again during the war, Hinata tried to sacrifice herself then gave Naruto an emotional speech, yet nothing happened after the war ended, Naruto might be naive and a lil bit dumb but he ain’t fcking brain dead.. it’s like the writer keeps creating the perfect chance only to waste it. It’s his own main character’s love story and he missed it up so bad resulting in the whole thing being forced. There is more but this what bugged me the most, the insane lack of development for both the characters and the story. But yeah, when it comes to osts and songs, some of them are top notch, that Obito ending is art.
the pain arc is the ultimate peak of story writing in the naruto verse. nothing can top that, even the fourth war arc. i like it when the focus on the more darker violent tone.
I feel like I'm trapped in a beautiful genjutsu while listening to this... and when it's over I clearly can feel how this trance expires... Genjutsu does exist!

The reason I think Pain’s theme is best is because of how it colors the character. When you hear this...tragedy follows. The scene that best exemplifies this is Utakatas final scene in his little arc. Even though it was filler we wanted that man to win. We wanted him to go on to be that girls master. None of that happens. Pain shows up and it’s over for him. 10 episodes invested and he gets killed...tragic
