    For someone that has never owned a bottle before, I will get a bottle of this soon, that is Sauvage EDT. I just tested it last week and love it very much. I really don't care how many people wear this, if it's smells good to me I'll wear it. There's a reason why so many people wear it because it's that good. Just like OG ADG and Nautica Voyage, they are all timeless.

    • @ChadSecrets
      @ChadSecrets  Год назад +4

      Regardless of popularity I still wear this one a lot. And it still gets very good feedback!

    Sauvage EDT was the first ever cologne I’ve smelled at a store and I actually didn’t like it. Years later i’ve accumulated a few scents but never considered Sauvage because of that first experience, but after giving it another chance it’s actually nice. My bottle is on its way. I guess taste does change

    I think the EDT is outstanding!
    I had a decant of Elixir but gave it away…it was WAY too strong. Couldn’t be around anyone without choking them out with just one spray

  • @patrickpolak2402

    I agree that the Elixir is the best in the line, it's niche level creativity in a Dior bottle. However to me it doesn't have the versatility, I would only wear it in the Colder months of the year; and you also need to be careful because of it's projection and sillage 1 and a half to 2 sprays max or you could potentially choke people out indoors with it.

    • @ChadSecrets
      @ChadSecrets  Год назад +1

      You're absolutely correct it does not have the versatility. the first time I put it on, I remember I applied 5 sprays and filled up an entire restaurant.
      However, I feel like the majority of people that are getting Dior Sauvage for the first time by recommendation of older videos expect it to be a beast and super loud and are more suited towards the elixir instead. If that is what they want 👌

    I’ve never really paid much attention to colognes or such until I recently turned 29 after getting samples of both Dior EDP and Elixir I went with the EDP but I like the Elixir as well and will probably get that eventually as a woman I tend to lean more towards the cologne it doesn’t seem to matter to me if it’s geared towards men I just buy what I like and see myself wearing

    I'm facing a problem. I'm not smelling it after 20 minutes on me and neither are my friends. The weather here is extremely hot it's like 38 degrees Celsius and I don't know if this is the reason. The sillage isn't as I expected it and the way I feel it while wearing Creed. I have the EDT version and I have recently purchased it. Is it the reformulation? What do you think?

    • @ChadSecrets

    It has an absurd compliment factor. I once got 5 compliments in ONE NIGHT with Dior - Sauvage from girls I didn't even know. That's more than I've gotten in total with any other fragrance I own including Ultra Male, Eros, Fierce, and many others. Where I live, no one knows Sauvage heck I've only smelled a couple guys even wearing fragrance at all in my local context, so it's pretty unfair when I use it. They always say "WHAT IS THAT DIVINE SCENT?!" I will always own it because how extremely effective it is at garnering attention from hot girls.

    I will say, the EDT was the best at its time, but over the years, it’s become one of the weakest in the Sauvage line. Mainly because every guy has worn it, so you won’t be considered unique or stand out. You’ll just smell like every other guy. Especially some girls ex boyfriend. Ugh, imagine a woman coming up to you, knowing you’re wearing the EDT and says you’re Ex Boyfriend Material…yeah that’s not a good look. But also because of its longevity. It’s not a power house like it once was back in 2015. So for me, I use the Elixir, as it’s a more enhanced, yet masculine version of it. Plus since it’s the most expensive out of all of the Sauvage Fragrances, not a whole lot of guys will be wearing it, at least as far as I know, so you’ll be able to stand out way more and get compliments out the ass. Every girl will go crazy because you smell luxurious, yet mature. Not youthful like the other ones. It’s still had the Sauvage DNA, but it also feels like it’s its own product. That’s how well it stands out.
