the bungee gets to wear out relatively quickly and gets torn apart at the worst time possible :( steel spring on the other hand is the best by far I didn't try fin clip tho, i would only give it a try if it can be integrated with steel spring
The Tusa standard adjustable has this pre-formed heel shape which is very comfortable. Should I still swap for bungee? I tried the bungee in the shop and it's tighter and concentrates pressure in one part of the heel.
Remember most fins push towards you so you actually only need a basic but reliable strap. Springs fit most fins last forever..bungee the same but rinse them well.. Rubber common ones can suddenly fail but it’s unlikely & they crack well before failing.all this hinged stuff is great for a week but after it’s a liability & weight...come on mr RUclips man admit it....there a gimmic nobody sensible will touch.
Thank you so much for mentioning that the Hollis F1’s spring strap is adjustable. They were too big for my feet! I had no idea!!
love the new style of video! and the new intro is pretty sick
Thank you Zeez :)
Im thinking about going ahead and investing in the fin clips
Can you fin alright with that fin clip? Seems that your ankle is somewhat locked in a 90 degree angle...
Really enjoying your videos thanks!

Nice new intro. Fin clip seems good but I feel it may be awkward with rock boots.
I have a bungee type strap on my Mares avanti quattro. Are there stainless steel coil straps available as replacement? Please advise....Thanks
can fin clips use spring straps instead of bungee straps?
does the fin clip effect your heel moment at all??

I hate adjustable straps they adjust while i swim
I use the world's most ghetto spring straps, they are held on with zip ties
