Hello, can you tell me please, how is it now a days, do people need any special permissions to come to Burma into places like mines or some local markets in and around the Mogok, to be allowed for entrance? Or anybody can feel free to go Mogok without any permissions?..
It has been a while since I have gone back to Mogok but I would wager that you will need to get permission to enter. We had to get permits in Mandalay to be allowed in. I would recommend getting in touch with a tour group organizer to get the paperwork sorted for you.

There is a mix on the video, the rough is all unheated and so are the cut stones at the end of the video. The only stones that are heated are the two oval faceted pieces towards the middle of the film :)
