Doston Indigo bhartiye aviation ki sabse profitable aur sabse badi company hai!! Aur Indigo ko Indian aviation ka badhshah mana jaata hai!! Lekin kuch dino pehle, Indigo ne ek aisa report publish kiya jisne pure market ko hilakar kr rakh diya!!!
Ye dekhiye, Indigo ne apne quarterly report me bayata ki unke kharche achanak se, 3000 crore se badh gaye jiski wajah se woh lagbhag 190 crore ke profit se bas 3 mahino me 900 crore ke loss chale gaye!!
Aur ye itni badi baat isliye hai kyuki agar aap Indigo ke number ko dekho toh Indigo eklauti aisi airline thi jo profit kama rahi thi!!
Ye dekho, jab vistara 581 crores ke loss me thi, spicejet 423 crore ke loss me thi, aur air india 4444 crore ke loss me thi lekin Indigo akele hi 8172 crore ke profit me thi!!

Can indigo hedge the fuel price from market ,which will ultimately decrease their cost
Hello sir, Please make a video on the Pharmaceutical industry and marketing strategy.
Ppppp0pp00p00@@amankumarsah3308
Thankyou sir for hindi channel
Today i know your channel is already launched in hindi.
Its really fruitful for all who interested in this sector.
Thanks once again 🙏
A good point to add would be the salaries of aviation employees.
from the past few years there had not been an increment in the salaries of aviation employees due to lack of competition. Since Air india was acquired by the TATA group they have started to mass hire people in various departments leading to better compensation for employees.
This not only made indigo to increase the salaries of their existing employees but also created a huge shortage of manpower to maintain their current OTP, and also new players like akasa who offer much better services at a lower price point have made them lose a lot of their customers.
Sir , please case study on emirates and all global airlines company please please please please please please please please please please 😊
You have not explained in your about one fact that if Indigo is facing heat of fuel cost increase then other airlines will also face it. Due to this every company must have to either increase the flight cost or take burn in their margins. Therefore, even if they will increase the price they should be lowest amongst the other airlines
Good research done on the video. Liked the way of editing as well.
Good video, but you missed the main point. Indigo's main source of revenue was never RASK but leasing their new aircrafts to other airlines. You might know that Indigo is Airbus's biggest customer (with over 1200 A320 orders) and started leasing their A320's to other airlines who are on Airbus's waitlist for the same aircraft model and make. Indigo works on a sale and leaseback model (SLB) where an airline acquires the aircraft at an attractive price and sells the aircraft to a lessor and leases it back for its own use. Just look at how many airlines are flying aircraft that are leased from Indigo and you'll get an idea. The SLBs are important as they are cash generative and also help the airline with fleet flexibility. However, post covid a lot of airlines have chosen to not lease from Indigo denting Indigo's major revenue source! Add the P&W engine issue and the whole thing is experiencing a domino effect. Indigo is in a state where it cannot lease to other airlines and is stuck with brand new aircraft with faulty engines.
Such a dumb comment lol, IndiGo’s main source of revenue is NOT leasing aircraft. Have a look at the balance sheets 🤡 IndiGo doesn’t have aircraft with ‘faulty engines’, the aircraft on the ground have been the least in 2 years because the parts have been made.
Btw your entire point is wrong, indigo doesn’t lease aircraft to other carriers; indigo purchases aircraft in bulk from Airbus and then sells that to aircraft lending companies afte which they lease it from them at great rates. Why? To have the flexibility of replacing those aircraft when new, more fuel efficient aircraft become available.
@@iceman_7 Oh you naive little soul, maybe educate yourself before yapping utter crap. Indigo has over 76 aircraft that are grounded because of problems with the P&W engines maybe just google or read the news occasionally. "indigo purchases aircraft in bulk from Airbus" 😂🤣😂😂 in bulk??? LOL! You're not buying potatoes or onions that you can buy in bulk. You can place a bulk order but Airbus manufactures 1 A320 in 1 month! Go check their website and again, educate yourself. You can also check the waitlist on their website and see how many airline's orders are pending. Also, do you even read before commenting? You've literally copy pasted what I've written about SLBs and saying my entire point is wrong. What are you smoking buddy?
All listed companies posted losses for this quarter (Q2 2024). Since shares prices were already declining due to FII sales hence each company use this quarter to book maximum expense for this quarter to utilise share price fall across whole share market. Next quarter profit will be back for all companies.
Exactly
Wrong.
Many companies posted good results like Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, motherson samvardhana, Bajaj Finance, etc.
If you see Indigo’s cash flow statement, they still generated positive cash despite posting a loss on the PL statement. You need to understand that Indigo prepares it’s financial statements according to IFRS, interest expense and depreciation listed on the PL doesn’t really depict the actual cash outflows. Q2 is anyway a weaker period for the aviation industry. If you look into it, QoQ revenue decreased marginally even though the no. of flights and no. of pax increased. It was largely due to fall in average revenue per pax (discounted fares due to unstable demand). Further, the AOG situation has peaked now and it’s going to get better.
Thanks for sharing your insights. It's important to consider all angles when analyzing business performance.
You spk equally well in hindi... Very nice video and as informative as ever.... 🎉
As always you guys come with a banger ❤
The objectivity that you bring in business case studies, I find it lacking in domestic political case studies.
BTW, the way you complete sentences in hindi is quite adorable!
भाई तेरे लिए आज भी सबसे best कंपनी tiktok ही होगी 😆
Indigo should change their engine prattandwitney to Leap-1A for the fleet of AIRBUS A320NEO AIRCRAFT then grounded planes should run smoothly 😊
Video start from 4.26
Lease rental bade he toh new aircraft purchase cost bhi kam hui he warna new deal hoti time lagta aur loan hota aur interest bhi lagta ,wese bhi sale and lease back basis pe hi almost sari airlines aircraft run karte he.
Nice information bro thanks for here
Make a video on Deccan Airways
case study on Indian Hospital please😊
I like the content of the video, but disagree with the video's title "Why is Indigo failing?". Making a loss does not mean that the airline is failing. Infact, Indigo did a great job with a positive RASK% change YoY. The headwinds that the industry is facing are temporary, and that doesn't mean that the airline is failing.
Historically, no airline has consistently been profitable, which is why the airline industry is often considered a poor investment due to various challenges. However, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) service providers stand to benefit significantly from the airline industry's growth. These companies are the best proxy play for capitalizing on the airline boom.
Yesterday me and my brother discuss about the aviation industry
Every things depends upon government
Becouse tax on fuel, high parking charges , high airport charger,
If a airlines generate 100 rs revenue then only 30 % go in the fuel
, 15% revenue spend in the poilet and cabin crew
But 20 to 30 % revenue spend on the all the tax and charges .
Govt should decrease the tax and all charges aply on the aviation industry
I think you are over-estimating the effects of fuel price rise - yes, fuel is the major cost factor for airlines in India, but prices have remained 'somewhat' stable - INR depreciation over USD is also there. The most important factor is that of the 367 planes you mentioned, more than 65+ are grounded - when 20% of your fleet is grounded, it can take the entire airline down. This increases cost - plus IndiGo is operating aircraft leased from Latvian carriers and those wet leased aircraft increase cost.
You make a great point - grounded planes are a huge burden.
Aaj aapko hindi mein baat karte hue dekh kar accha laga
No loss indigo is going strong this whole video is not required
Sir, please, a series of case studies of all luxury brands, please
Love you bhaiya ❤❤❤
Plzzz don't discontinued of indigo flight.
Mahindra ki cases study upload karo ❤🎉
Nice information but please don't give false information about fuel prices. There is an agreement between airlines and fuelling companies where the fuelling companies should give fuel for the company throughout the agreement date.
Can you please make a video regarding business case study of Emirates which is the most successful airlines in the world.
Please make video kn adani isa case...you will explain well
please make a vedio on air india new business strategy,in either of your channel.
Sir, luxury brands case study, please
As warren buffert says airline will never make money only companies offer mro services will make big money and turns out to be multibagger stock
What you mean

In spite of high tkt prices losses and They are yet to refund money for the cancelled flights during recent outage.
But Indian middle class is slowly disappearing due to high inflation. 🙏
Indigo is the best airlines Indigo nahi to flight travel in india is almost end
I personally prefer not to fly IndiGo as this year I have taken 7 flights from Kolkata to Jaipur and vice versa and their in-flight services are not that good. Their seats are very uncomfortable and full of dust. The seats inside an AC bus are more comfortable than their seats. Also their washrooms are dirty. The cabin crew is rude in behaviour and not that hospitable anymore. Air India express and Akasa Air are better alternatives.
True.
You are true. I have experienced the same.
Now plan to Fail Indigo so that some monopoly can take over and flight charges can increase. Disappointing nowadays, travelling in India is more expensive that travelling in south east Asia.
I think your explanation is not correct.
1. Fuel cost in last quarter is not very high around 75 dollar. So oil price information is incorrect.
2. If grounded flights are so much then how come sales has increases. It means more people used Indigo.
What about other airlines are there losses increase heavily.
Earlier Your English episode was good but I think nowdays you are just posting videos.
Sir luxury brands case study, please
now I wonder, I have travelled in Europe and have taken flights from Ryanair, they costed me as low as 13Euro (~1400rs) (Memmingen, DE to Pisa, Italy), how come they manage this low prices? would be an interesting case study.
I will really suggest you to make case study on Qatar airways and emirates airlines.. why they are aoo much profitable
State controlled (dictator helps hugely in running it efficiently)and huge fuel advantage
Indigo knows how to come back, they are master at leasing the plane and giving it on lease. Even if they are in profit during covid.
Bhai kal hi aapki airline mafia wala video dekha tha but Aaj indigo is falling . How fast night changes
True
Ur English is much better than English. But good efforts.
Ganesh right time to make defence videos on Hindu india china Pakistan war
Headline is misleading, Indigo is not failing. Just declare loss doesnt mean they are failing. Its all coz of fuel rise which is happening all over world.
It's so funny to see you speaking in Hindi😄. But I really love the way you speak in Hindi.
Kyu bhai pheli bar sun rahe ho kya hindi??
@@Kikoshunuhe used to make videos in English
Sir indigo can't hedge fuel price in open market where they can decrease the cost
No such great loss to their share price. It is similiar to every other company.
Please make a video on Laxmi chit fund scam 🙏🏼
Heyy....Please Make a detailed video on rose valley cheat fund scam
India is a country where normal citizens are tax like UK and government facilities like Somalia
Bizness badhane ke liye achhi sarvice dena bahot jaruri hai indigo se kehna pesenjaro ko kachara n samze 45 minits ek flite me kam se kam ek cup chai de aur pesenjaro se badtamizi n kare
Dont worry, Adani will buy one of such airlines, and he can only make a profit as all airport fees will be waived off as he has major control
V good
Your in-video title is written FALLING and not FAILING. Come on editor, get sharp.
Did you use ai to translate the video? Because hindi feels a bit odd while listening
why doesn't Indigo hedge for fuel prices?
Why don't they make their own airplane parking it's a one time investment but costs low in long term
If you want to be a millionaire. Start an airline as a billionaire.
Govt levies kills this industry man made tailored issues

Pehle bolte ho indigo achha hai badme bolte hai failing hai
Is think school acquired by zerodha?!
Sabse bakwaas flight h indigo always delay flights bad food bad attitude of attendants worst experience always at indigo
Nirmala tai to IndiGo - pahle to tax 90% jama karo then GST 8% uske baad you are good to go 😂
Brother please do a perfect study if your theory is correct then why indigo is still trying to make new connections they have just launched 4 new international connections also they have best business mindset im a flight manager in indigo and they have best business development pannels and if your case study is 1% true ( which is not ) then its just like jio people don't have option whenever they increase their cost cause there are lots of stations where only one airlines work which is indigo and still its continuously full..!! Don't you think that airlines dont know about their expenses...? As you shown your video when other companies are going in loss indigo was raising so just think about it how strong they are operating don't give wrong info to viewers
Indian middle class is increasing?? Bhai har koi alag baat batata hain 😂😂😂
Boeing aur Airbus ki Duopoly katm karni hain isme Indian govt hi sakhti hain banani hain.
Services meh Airport charges kam karwani hain.
Airbus-Boeing ki duoploy bohot nations ne break karne ka try kara China Russia France Brazil but ye FAA koi aur aircraft ko approve ki nahi karta due to US lobby
Indigo market leader h and the reason for failure you are telling its common across the industry. Bas video bnane k liye topic chaiye usme sensational music add kar do. Logo ko lagega gyan mil rha h
Indigo choose kya karna iske alawa flight jati hi kaha hai😂

People like this create panic in the market
What is the source of your data?
Middle class tax so much why will people. Use money on these things. Should have tax relief. Tax tax tax everywhere. And give to all poor people. What about us then?
India the graveyard of airlines …
the only way they are making a profit is by looting the passengers! and not providing the service for whats been paid!.
Ek bt bolunga sir humhe ratan tata ji ko sport krna agr chate hain india age bade
Why no "Hello Everybody"?? 😢
They are very bad in handling customer currently thus loosing customers
Where do you find this airline going towards loss?
😂
There’s lots of gap in the information provided. More airports and fdi won’t solve the issues. What’s the crude oil buffer set by the Indian Governments try to find and surprising no information and no journalism on the question. Aviation is a seasonal industry so any schemes for fuel credit when business is low. There’s too many hole’s that are yet to be filled and no one is asking the government directly. Think about it 🧐
Bro aviation and hospitality industry are fuck up actually
Kursi ki peti bandh lo.... Indigo is.....
O bhai...why you are suggesting to increase consumption. Are you mad.
Man anyway airfare is getting really expensive, earlier i used to pay 12000 for round trip Delhi-Dibrugarh in 2022 but now its 15000 in 2024.
You missed the most important thing the tax on ATF which is the biggest reason for failure of airlines
Hope Modi will help them
Indigo is worst airline for its employees.....i will not even recommend to my enemy to work with indigo...
❤❤
Aviation sector ki problem ka ek he solution he .... Unionise the system....jab ek airline company ki flight bhar jaye tabhi dusre Wali company ki seats bhari jani chahiye...jaise auto rikshaw wale karte he
Indigo
hame, koi aur vikalp khoojna hoga.
welcome privatisation on govt. sectors🤣
Bro atleast give english subtitles in your video.
Think school channel is available for English videos, this is Think school Hindi, so that's why i think there are no subtitles.
Visit think school
Don't watch if you don't know hindi I haven't seen subtitle provided in kannad and tamil language channels with more than 500k subs nor have I seen brothers from north asking for subs why do you want hindu speaking video to have English subs - by a indian from south
RUclips has auto translate feature for subtitles, try that
