I absolutely love Lolita lempicka le Parfum. Never smelt the original one. The new formulation is Devine. I wanted to like Lolitaland. The opening is beautiful but the synthetic peach smell doesn’t agree with my noise. After a few second, all I can smell is the pungent peach. Longevity is excellent. Having said that I struggle with most peach note perfumes. I must try green lover. Sounds beautiful ❤
peach is such a tricky note - I often can’t abide peach perfumes it they’re sweet but something about LolitaLand just works for me. Mind you, in warmer weather I’d be singing a different tune I think! I’ve yet to find a natural smelling, light peach, but I might have to try the Acqua colonia white peach to see if they’ve captured the real fruit! p’s I got Le Parfum after making this video and I can’t wait to wear it (hopefully next week!). it is just magical!

You mostly find people complaining how neither are like the original, which is fair but not very helpful 😂 I personally love Mon Premier (people always compliment it too) and was trying to figure out if Le Parfum is different enough to be purchased. I did end up ordering it after hearing it possibly has more anise/licorice. Was also interesting to hear about the other Lolita Lempicka perfumes 😊
haha I know what you mean! I get bored of people insisting that reformulations are rubbish - what’s available is what’s available and in the case of Lolita Lempicka, many of them are delicious! I got obsessed with Mon Premier last winter and can’t wait to wear it again but le Parfum is just so sexy! my husband smelt it and said he didn’t know how to describe it but for some reason it was sexy - he likes Lempika Homme too (gonna get him a bottle for Christmas ‘cause I like it too!)
When you talked about Green Lover, I just had to go spray it on. I did that right after getting ready after a shower, and it’s the perfect time to wear it. So refreshing!
You have a great collection of Lolita Lempika fragrances. I love Mon Premier which I received recently, so thank you for recommending it. I don't like liquorice in perfume but it's very mild in this. Those bottles and packaging are very confusing, I can see why you received the wrong one. Why don't they have Mon Premier printed on the box, that would sort out the confusion! Green Lover is marketed as a man's fragrance but in my opinion it leans more feminine. It's gorgeous for summer!
I know! Thier packaging is really silly sometimes! I'm excited to wear Green Lover.... if the UK ever actually gets spring weather. At this rate we will skip that season all together and jump straight to full summer!
What you said about jasmine is interesting- I once heard a reviewer say that too much jasmine or musk can smell a bit like 💩😅🙈 I thought I was the only one thinking that but appearantly not😂
Yeah I've never got a fecal smell from it before but it often smells like burning rubber or dirty wood, that sort of thing! I really struggle with Jasmine in perfumes!
Thank you so much for the detailed reviews! The original LL was what got me into perfume as a hobby, but the last time I smelled it was nearly 10 years ago. Now I've just discovered the brand has gone cleaner/vegan and have all these newer launches... so curious to try them all!

I think it's possible that the juice in Lolita land starts off as a lighter colour and then gets darker, due to the large amount of vanilla in it.... that does seem to happen with a lot of vanilla perfumes! I hope you enjoy green lover - it's a good one imho!
I love Lolita Lempicka perfumes I love the original and I love sweet there both my favourite and I'm getting original and sweet in the 100mls I'm just waiting my local chemist to get them in but I have the 50mls of original and sweet but when my local chemist get the 100mls in I'm getting them
The sample in this vid came directly from Lolita Lempicka's website, so I'm guessing it is the 2023 version. I now have a bottle of the 2021 version and it smells the same as the sample and the bottles look identical, so I'm not sure why they relaunched it!
I thought it was something about one company buying out another…? I got a little travel size of the newest iteration and received it yesterday. It was 30*C here in Virginia so not the best day to try it. I still quite enjoyed it while indoors, but I can imagine it will sing in the cooler weather.

@@carabara84 just incase you've not seen it, my husband and I made a video with my warm weather perfumes and he chose his top 5! To be honest on me, his favourites link up nicely with mine in that he likes spa-like zen scents. So tea perfumes like Jennifer Lopez Still (his absolute favourite), Elizabeth Arden Green Tea (My absolute Favourite!) Are always a winner. As a general rule though, I love love love the 4711 Acqua Colonia Range for hot weather and I have a big video about those too ;). My husband actually wears Acqua Colonia too.... he keeps the ones I find too masculine for me, like Myrrh & Kumquat ❤

A recent fave unisex is CK One Gold.... it is sooooo delicious that Imight need a bottle! If you want to splash out then Hermes Jardin are other faves on men. Sur La Nil and Cythere are best for men I reckon 😉

Such a shame! I love it but I have Le Parfum now and I love it much more! Not as syrupy and more musky :)
