:) thank you!! And I mostly do audiobooks or read on my kindle! I find physical copies kinda hard to hold but I love having a collection

your thrift stores have a great selection, much better than in my area. I have to say, browsing through your videos, i'm suprised to see that you shop for books so differently than I do. LFLs, Thrift Stores, Target, B&N.. but never used bookstores, which are my favorite places to find deep treasures! do you not have any good used bookstores near you?
I 1000% AGREE W YOU, deep treasures in used bookstores indeed!!!! I have some lovely ones that I frequent a lot offline, I think 1) they’re more crowded or it’s a smaller space so it’s tougher to film and 2) I’m super diligent about my privacy online, so although I would love to promote my local independent bookstores, I’m not comfortable telling the internet where I’m located HAHA so it’s just a personal preference. But I love love love used bookstores!! 🫶🏼
@@tiachu I can understand why you would be protective of your privacy, but it is an extra shame, because of all the places you go looking for books, Used Bookstores are the ones that would most benefit from the extra publicity and attention

@tiachu fair enough! If you ever pick it up again, I can't wait to hear the review! No pressure, of course!! I gave the book four stars because when I closed that book, I felt speechless!
I also saw in the video that you were thinking about reading the book. "This is where it ends"! From my experience, I ended up rating it 2 stars after reading the whole thing. Although I enjoyed annotating it, there just wasn't enough personality in the characters and wasn't realistic at all.
But, obviously, please don't think I'm telling you not to read it! After all, everyone has different reading interests!

Yeah, I had that thought too. Maybe there's an exception for nonprofit entities like libraries?

@@robynseggblue6599 Well, I never want a library to get in trouble but hopefully they find a way to correct the error of selling ARCs.
They’re not supposed to be, so I think people are trying to do right by that rule and donating them, and idk if the people who stock the aisles know/are trained to look out for ARCs ? I’m assuming that’s something like low on their priority list

I’ve found an interest in exploring free little libraries now cause of you Tia🥹I just came from a book club in a town that’s a bit more than an hour away from me and I saw in their free little library outside Get a Life, Chloe Brown. Iconic! And Lunch Money by Andrew Clements. That’s also iconic cause throwback to 4th grade when I read it then😂
