- I’ve been going to the Super Magfest convention since I was little, well… little-er. Over its 20 years of running so many crazy and strange things have happened that have shaped the community for better or for worse. I’ve had my own fair share of personal adventures there over the 8 I’ve been to. So allow my to regale you with a trip down memory lane in this vanity project that future scholars will scoff at. I had never heard about Magfest before, but it was so cool hearing your experiences at magfest through the years, it seems like such a fun experience. My family have never had a lot of money, but my older sister used to take me and my sisters to a comic con event every year, and while most years we only had enough money to get in and not buy anything, it was still so much fun just going out and seeing people be able to have fun and dress up and enjoy the things we liked. I remember one year I took a picture with someone cosplaying as Fiona from Shrek in her ogre form, they looked AMAZING 👏👏👏

43:10 I have never squee'd as hard as I just did for an almost 29 yo man. I'd totally be after that tail. I have ALWAYS wanted a fur suit or bang in one at least at a Con. Never been able to go to one, nor have friends go with, never been to a real rave before but all the things I heard about people dressing casual for raves makes me sick. I used to make clothes for raves and parties when I was 17.
