Every time I have heard a new Shikari song my first reaction has been "what the f is this?"
From day one they have challenged my idea of what music I like, from day one they have never failed to surprise me with each incarnation.
They never deliver what I expect, which is, I feel, what makes them perpetually relevant.
They have been my favourite band since I was 17 and I feel in many ways I have grown alongside them.
Thanks once again for an amazing song that I hated first listen and now love with a passion!

I thoroughly love this diamond in the rough band, so unique, they feel like an evolution desperately needed in an industry in need of new blood.
Spot-on assessment. They really seem to continually evolve and challenge the music scene. And now with Rou producing their next album in its entirety, I think there will be plenty more to come.
I have listened to them since I was in my mid teens myself I just remember hearing sorry your not a winner on bbc radio 1 and being hooked ever since. Don't think they have ever released a bad album.
I’ve been like that with so much of their music, perhaps mostly so with hoodwinker and the mindsweep. I never listened to anything remotely heavy when I first got into them right when AFFOC came out so I keep surprising myself in how I’ll grow to love music that would otherwise be outside my usual listening habits. Their more poppy songs, especially this one, have been really easy for me to get into at the first listen as my usual tastes include Lights and Owl City, almost totally opposite musically.
It's essentially a love song about two people who recognise each other's pain and yearning for something *more than*. Not a word about roses or doves or alcohol or drugs or sex or 'loyalty' or... pretty much anything in any other love song ever. It speaks of depression and regret and the feeling that we just go from day to day without really living - a longing for direction and safe harbour. It's the moment you find someone who says 'That makes two of us'. That's real beauty.
Favourite band since 2006/7 when I saw you at the Harlow Square. Been following you around the world since.

Jake Gregos the band probably wanted it this way. The editor that did the editing on this video used a lot of adobe software more then likely. He probably gave it the effect to do that. I’m going to school for it so I know s little bit about it.

Fun fact about that; swap those lights out for cameras in those exact positions and that's how they filmed the "bullet time" sequences in The Matrix. I wonder if that's where they got the idea from, would make sense

I just realised that ES have been my fashion idols for the last 8 years. I always kind of changed my style with them.
I could listen to Rou sing the first 0:15 seconds on a loop and never get bored. This man has such a beautiful voice.

I love how Enter Shikari still stays unique on rock/electronic music scene. There is no band like them. Song is also awesome, I can chill while listening to it.

I love the messages and metaphors within Enter Shikari's music, their music as a whole is entirely unique and original which I love and appreciate in music. Telling their messages through music they want to play. I love it.

Enter Shikari are like Queen in their time... - creative and fresh sound. Mostly i need a bit to get into a whole album but after i listen to it more often i fall in love and it empresses me so much that they always reach a new level with their music. Keep doing what you want to do guys (ignore the haters) nothing is more boring than bands/artists always doing the same stuff... its necessary to grow and never hide creative ideas. Music is art. Point.

If you've ever been to an Enter Shikari show, you would probably understand that their stage production is fantasic. We are at an age where big production consists of a huge videowalls and minimal lighting, not ES their always go big and bright with their lighting showing that videowalls can never replace lights and not forgetting the futuristic 4D sound from their area productions, you guys are amazing at not only the music but showing people an experience. Thank you.

I've loved ES since "Take to the Skies"... I adore the band, hands down.. Their sound, their videos, their production, everything about them is spectacular!!!! That being said, as much as i love the new stuff and the self made direction they are going, i do miss the old, "raw" heavy style but thats just me. Regardless of what ES do, they are absolutely incredible
I fell off the wagon after their 4th album. Their sound and image changed too dramatically for me, just not my cup of tea
