one of the best live bands on the planet and yet so underrated
Criminally underrated, I've been seeing them for over 10 years now and they kill it constantly
I think they are better live than their studio recordings.
Yup
It's beyond me how this band has never become a global hit, fucking underrated in every way. Thank God for their music 🖤
While I agree, at least those of us who know and appreciate their music can know that they will never lose their touch and always do what they want musically and that's perfectly fine by me.
Finally an enter shikari video!
So cool to see the footages from the music video incorporated into their live performance of the song.
It's nice to have a proper version I watched the live version to death, but for some reason I think live is better, just has more oomph to it.
they all seem so happy on stage. watching this made me happy
Best band. In the world.
not really
@@alexmalch hahaha I'm assuming when I wrote that I was very very drunk
I always smile listening to my favorite band of like 12 years now 💞
So underrated, Shikari are the best
Most diverse band going! Should he headlining this festival
Not big enough to headline at all, but R+L know how incredibly insane they are and gave them 5 different sets over the weekend (the record!)
Ffs, all you TTTS fanboys need to drop the nostalgia, hell I used to be you , then I gave their other albums a listen as I was brushing up on their discography in preparation for a live show. ES is a powerhouse of eclectic creativity that we all can only hope to aspire to in our own lives
It's a shame that people can't seem to appreciate their new stuff since it's still to the same amazing quality as they've always been
Similar take to me. Worth trying to enjoy the new stuff and accepting they changed it up. If they Kept playing the same shit it would dilute the great sound they had back then. If you want more of take to the skies. Listen to the album and enjoy the nostalgia trip. I gotta say I still don't like all the new stuff but some i love!! eg, shinrin yoku and undercover agents. Absolute masterpieces .
@@mattw456 The Spark is in the middle for me, 1. AFFOC, 2. Mindsweep, 3. Spark, 4. Common Dreads, 5. TTTS
So good. One of the few bands on that stage that bring an awesome energy but still have the quality sound of the record. Along with all of the diversity their albums have had over the years I hope they continue for a long time to come.
It’s cool to think that these guys went to my school
Really? In St. Albans?
What a stunning performance!
So good!
This was amazing
Amazing perfomance and amazing song
They were epic 👌
I love it !!
i wish i could feel all music as viscerally as rou does here, damn. tight performance lads👌
Great music and nice band!
Top 3 band that was here this year. Fantastic diverse set
awesome!!
I was at this show, it was so intense wen the loud bits in the verses hit and the lighting and graphics hit with it
I LOVE YOU from japan
J'adhère 👍
💙💙💙
FULL SET PRETTY PLEASEE !
TO ANYONE SAYING THAT THEY GOT OLD : PLEASE WATCH A FULLSET ON BBC PLAYER - THAT SHUT YOUR MOUTH FOR SURE
@@Rivets13 it's not available :(
@@von_freiesleben64 : just use a proxy or vpn, IT will work
@@Rivets13 ya i am. those bbc fuckers see that somehow. #nsa #bushdid911
@@von_freiesleben64 I used zenmate VPN, IT worked for me (just remember to cancel subscription after using it)
I need their pit set video that was madness
Completely mental, I walked out with my tshirt literally soaked through
@@christopherwilliams1842 Same :D
Way better in a tent Enter Shikari are.
Terribly underrated song
Rou is bringing back the new romantic look quite heavily. Adam Ant?
@ BBC turn up Rou plz he’s heavenly
Barbaric Bunch Ethan sound guy must be asleep lol
Does anyone know anywhere to watch the entire set? Someone put it on yt after they took it off BBC Iplayer and now I cant find it.
whoever was in charge of the wardrobe was a little bit cruel for putting the whole band in black suits in the middle of the summer but rou's blue eyeshadow makes it worth it.
Crowd is hopping 👀
Strange, but very interesting band!
Who says "YES!!" at last of the song?:D
rou's dance.
necesito el set completo. :(((
Well that makes two of us
can someone tell me what time this set was???? went to main stage at 2pm on sunday as thats what it said on the app but yungblud were playing
they were on at 3:10
Does anyone know where I can find the full setlist please?! I need to see it I was front row for this
If it was the same or similar to the Stop the Clocks USA tour, my setlist was:
The Spark, Stop The Clocks, Destabilise, Sssnakepit, Arguing w/ Thermometers, Anaesthetist, Rabble Rouser, Juggernauts, Undercover Agents, Mothership, Quelle Surprise, Airfield, Paddington Frisk, Quickfire Round (Sorry You're Not/No Sleep Tonight/Last Garrison/...Meltdown), Slipshod, Live Outside.
@@christopherrice4816 Without Destabilise, Arguing, Anaesthetist, Agents, Mothership, Quelle Surprise, Airfield and Slipshod.
Anyone have the Full set anywhere? Or just sssssnakepit
IPlayer?
Is the sound guy asleep?
Do BBC just record one random song from each set, or do they do the whole set? Seems a shame not to release the footage they have
they banned the official vid.
fkn *eyeroll*
Enter shikari sounds like an Indian restaurant
Fuck me the Audio Quality on this video is shite!! I was at Leeds Friday and they played phenomenally
Enter the 1975 Shikari? Still love it though
Not the Enter shikari I remember!?!
This is the Enter Shikari you remember. They are always make something new and find new ways in the music. Yes it isnt metal but they are playing their old songs to. Look at the Quickfire Round
@@gamermagazin3116 Mothership is back in the setlist, and watch their recaps for August, one has a Mothership performance with one of Rou's best live screams.
@@shikarifox4337 I know. I was in the Stop the clocks tour. Just the New albums arent metal. :) The quickfire round is amazing
Beauty! (Warning! Strong Language! Nob Wings' comment may not always be equal to the point of view of your governo Nob Wings is not responsible what's going on... YEAH! )
Shut up
Nah shikari all the way
@@nikraby1939 Yeah! :-)
I’m not sure about this song, it’s a bit too poppy for me (especially that chorus), but maybe it’ll grow on me.
Sweet guitar solo they also have plenty of br00tl tracks in their discog to get you by bruz
They always do
It sounds a bit like they are trying to force there spark sound into it
It will! I heard it first in January and I was like "eh" and ended up humming it the entire walk back to the train station. Give it a few more listens!
Bawksy exactly the same!
When did Reading become V festival 😔
Piss off
Christopher Williams
🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@davidmason9529 nah man it's just like have you even seen the rest of their set??
Reading is a festival for whatever is most popular at that moment. It started as a jazz festival in the 50s and has constantly changed ever since. So yeah, nowadays it's more focused on pop but that's to be expected. Besides, there's download, bloodstock, arctangent, techfest, desertfest and plenty more if you want rock and metal
man i was having a good time until i saw that israeli flag
I love this band loads but they are turning so pop :(
They will go Pop, then they will go metal, then arty, then drum and bass, maybe, that's the thing with ES, they always change
There's been stuff like this in the Discography since 2009 :P Like, listen to Wall and then this, there's similarities.
Are you serious?Have you ever seen them live?I've seen them 7 times, most recently 2 weeks ago,and they still go hardcore like you wouldn't believe.Rou has not lost ir,The Spark is a piece of art and just because its not TTTS does not mean it is bad in any way.
Don't worry dude, the genre changes but Shikari have never sacrificed their energy and perspectives
Can we stop the clocks on Shikari's gradual departure from good music?
Jesus they turned cringy. Remember the pits anyone
They peaked with "The Mindsweep" and "A Flash Flood of Colour" IMO
Seen then live at the beginning of the year, The pits are still there.
Bastille
@@gregorboyd good to know
@@milomorris2049 watch the full thing on BBC iplayer, they played Sssnakepit straight after this and there was huge pits, just because this is softer doesn't mean they are shit now
They are ancient!!! And since when do they make pop music...? And the Singers dance is funny in a sad way....
Honestly shut up. They aint ancient and this new stuff sounds dope
Yeah, such bastards! Just getting older like that... how could they!?
they seem happy with the music they’re making so who’s really fussed, people are enjoying it and some don’t that just what music is like. and they’re hardly ancient much older bands out there
How are they ancient? They still make better than music than all the mainstream shit you hear on the radio
Ahem, that’s some good-ass dnb step, thank you very much. Not an easy style
Shite
Ooh dear they’ve turned into a 1975 killers tribute act....give it up lads alll over...
