    Love your apron, it reminded me of my Grandma, she always wore her's inside out and the if someone came to the door she would quickly turn it around so she had a clean apron. She always left it on when going up the street under her black coat, light weight in summer and a woolen one in winter. I just loved her to bits and still miss her 60years since she went to her saviour.❤

    What a great idea to make aprons from our scraps/leftover fabrics. I get bored with piecing those together in yet another quilt top. Thank you for a new plan.

    I saw an apron similar to this in a local craft store and immediately wanted to make one. Thank you so much for these quick and easy to follow instructions! ❤ I think it would be nice to add a couple of pockets also. 😉

    Great video! Looks super easy and would make a great gift. Brought back memories
    from High School home ec class, we made half aprons with a pocket and the band
    that was really long because that was the ties. Great way to use leftovers for
    all the different seasonal fabrics!

    What a great video tutorial! Thank you for sharing this! I’m definitely going to be making this soon. I’ve not sewn a garment since my home ec class in 1973. 😄 Do you recommend using any interfacing?

      @lessonslearnt5966  11 месяцев назад +1

      I wouldn’t. If you prefer a stiffer apron, you could use denim or twill on the other side instead of just quilting cotton.

      I did think of that. I meant to mention that a pocket could be added

    Where did you get your pinking shear? I think its so cute. How many blocks do you think for a kids one.

      I’ve had them since I worked at Hancock Fabrics back in the mid 80’s. They are Gingher brand. For a child, I would probably use 30 - 3” squares instead of 5”
