If it's not German they will always underrated it smh. Or say the styling and performance is to much or not enough but won't find anything wrong with the weird bug shape of a Porsche Panamera lol. Ii love this car myself
I absouletly love this car....not because i used to work and sell Infifniti products, but because iam a hard core driver and take driving with a priveledge seriously and with authority.... and truly the G and the M edition especially the M56 gives me exactly what i want... the lil nibbles i can manage to get around, but the bottom line is Sport, sport, sport and more rough sport.... Great job infiniti for not suga coating the brand and its products....
Fuel pump tapit (bucket) should inspect every 30,000 catalytic converters crap after 100,000 and it has a (life time transmission fluid) you should change it every time you look at the fuel pump besides that solid car 136,000
Nice review as usual Steve. Infiniti's M series proves just how badge biased customers can be. For years people were giving the Infinti flak for being too soft and putting performance on the back burner, while praising just how sharp the 5 series was, and that nothing handles like a BMW. Now that this generation's Infiniti M, arguably handles better than the now softer 5 series, badge snobs are going "umm....the ride is more comfortable, it's not supposed to be a sports car anyway." Oh well :P
Nissan has always had more performance 😂. And they last years with virtually no maintenance. I still do almost nothing after 18 yrs. Every bmw goes to the junkyard.
I don't think this thing has aged well looks-wise. It's in need of a refresh, but I think one is on the way. I really like the new Q50 though, so that's promising for the future of this car.
A billion times better car then the german crap.Way more fun better built more reliable.uncomparable.Ive had many german cars they fall behind by miles
Yeah, I agree that the new M design is starting to look outdated, hopefully the rebadging to the Q70 will also mean a nice big refresh to the interior/exterior.
Was that a little "dammit" at the end there? ;) Any ideas on when they plan a redesign? It doesn't appear to have aged well for a car in that price range.
i used tot hink this car was so sexy when it first came out. but it didnt age well. now i think its bland and boring and bla. the interior still looks nice though.
Underrated car.
A F A agreed

How reliable are they? What goes wrong?

Seems like a rare car because I have only found 1 for sale in my area after just now looking them up
Yes, very rare car. Even harder to find with the sport trim/package
@@Nolan2448 trim*
@@ItzL0s29 ah yes, of course… foolish of me to call it that. Thank you
Seems like a car enthusiasts should be all over in 2024
Looks even better now that the Maserati Ghibli is coming out with similar styling! Just switch the tires out to Michelins or
Perellis!
Long time fan here. once again another well done professional insight into a car. Keep up the good work!
Can't wait to buy my M56 sometime in the next year, best car in it's class. Though I still may choose a Lexus GS350 or Infiniti Q50 hybrid.

I love your reviews, Steve! Keep up the good work man
Funny you'd say that because while I do a lot of shooting in that area during the summer, I didn't go near there with the M56.
In 2021 it's still nice👌
those rims are my absolute fav
It had something like 8,000 miles on it which is on the high side for press cars and it looked a little worn.
A billion times better car then the german crap.Way more fun better built more reliable.uncomparable.Ive had many german cars they fall behind by miles
Thanks, Justin!
Pulsates the air like a more natural breeze.
is there a RWD M56? I cant do burnouts and drifts in AWD
Yes, there is as well as a M56. X equals AWD, if no X then it's RWD.
Solid review. Did I hear the word damnit at the end of the video clip?
The M37 suits this car the best. The M56 might be a bit too overkill. The Hybrid, is, uh...
I've noticed you like to visit Thacher State Park a lot. Willing to reveal your usual testing roads?
Love this car with the V-8
You're a wise man! People should listen to you ;-)
Absolute sleeper. Imma need one and smoke g37 dorks
Supposedly there are changes being made to the steering and suspensions for 2014
Yeah, I agree that the new M design is starting to look outdated, hopefully the rebadging to the Q70 will also mean a nice big refresh to the interior/exterior.
What does Infiniti mean by a "Forest Air"? What does it do to simulate a forest breeze?
may i know which car's engine note was used for the intro?
Hmmm. This, or ISF? Can’t decide.
So one could, I assume, set it for 5 mph with gusts up to 15?
Nicely done. :)
hey Steve, what do you mean by "hard miles", was it a demo or journo car?
I luv this car. I'm trying to find a used one for under $40k
It was a distant breeze.
Thank You Based Steve Hammes! You Have Answered my Call
how come i keep missing your videos?
The M is a beautiful car with the sport package and a little bland without. Good, unvalued car though.
Uh-oh. Reedit in the works!
Was that a little "dammit" at the end there? ;) Any ideas on when they plan a redesign? It doesn't appear to have aged well for a car in that price range.
I like this car but ant nobody buying that car man.
I just did in May 2020 and absolutely love it.
everyone seems to wonder why bmw's have gotten so soft and floaty lately, infiniti's inability to sell the hard edged M56 is the exact reason
The previous generation looked more sporty. The 550i and E550 gets more attention on the road.
Who stays around that long???? :-) Editing that out as we speak.
Hahaha anyone else hear the "dammit" in the last second? Hahaha ;) Great review Steve!
that b8 sounds really good
I agree. It's a nice car but there are better cars for the money.
i used tot hink this car was so sexy when it first came out. but it didnt age well. now i think its bland and boring and bla. the interior still looks nice though.
Did anyone else hear the damnit right at the very end of the video at 4:03
Infinit builds beautiful products but I feel like they are still searching for their niche in the market...
damnit, he edited it out
Mazda6 Steve
@$70k there's no way this car can compete with so many other choices available even if the engine looks solid
Of course it can...it's made in Japan. It's not German trash or US junk from Mexico.
@@TheGuruStud thanks for commenting a product 10 years later which the car itself didn't sell or age well.

Get an Acura RLX, you'll thank me later.
Roland Ocomen I don't think that's been proven.
The old m45 sport looked better and was better value too.
vk45 de nope.
@@mackinleythreadkell8105 yep! I own one I know!
But it sure as hell isnt as fun as the M56S
no
I hate this car. I don't want to. It just looks too curvy and I wouldn't like buying a 70,000 dollar car with the head unit from a Nissan Pathfinder.
too bad it is so ugly. Hopefuly the new G35 successor fixes this horrible design language.
Ugly car, great review.
SanDiegoInnOut attractive car, great review.
