If you'd done his californian accent and gone for the impression that raspy high part could sound extremely similar to Matt. I really appreciate that you didn't try to sound exactly like him though because I honestly find when people do a cover and try to do an impression of the original singer it ruins the whole thing. You really made it your own, dude.
Ya when I first started singing I tried to emulate other singers but over time I grew out of that found my own sound. Everyone has a unique voice so it's best to do your own thing. Glad you enjoyed 🤘🤘

Very cool cover, I just wish you would lean off the pitch correction a bit. I know getting takes that can work with little to no pitch correction can be a pain in the ass, but this definitely sounds very artificial at times, which I don't think is what you were going for
