- Here’s a cover I did of Avenged Sevenfold’s song, “Unbound (The Wild Ride)” This is off of their 2007 untitled album.
All the instrumentation in the background was written and performed by Avenged Sevenfold. I just grabbed an instrumental version of the song from off the net and added the singing on top of it. I did a few melody tweaks, although other than that, the majority of the melody and all the lyrics were written by Avenged Sevenfold.
Additionally, Tara Lansing out of Nashville, TN brought such an amazing element to the song! She is performing harmonies, background vocals and the ending vocals. You can check out what she's up to at @lansingrocks on IG. She trained at Zing Recording studios and worked with artists such as All That Remains and Killswitch Engage to name a few.

Thanks so much Chance! That really means a lot. Honestly, it was a tough one without question. I’ve been singing on and off for around 15 years now, but started taking it seriously around 3 years ago. Matt is insane! Just listening to that guys isolated vocal tracks, it seems he can naturally do things without much struggle. Even his live performances are outstanding!
Man.. This is perfect. Every single segment of your singing is 100% accurate and the emotion is there. I think this is the best vocal cover of any Avenged Sevenfold song that i watched on yt and i watched hunreds of them.

The thing I like about this cover is that you sound similar enough to Shadows, but it doesn't feel like you are trying to force yourself into doing an impersonation like so many vocal covers fall into the trap of. Also, really cool vocal idea at the end of the second verse.
