Season 5 looks like it will be awesome! I am very excited to study lace with you. Thank you so much for continuing the Online Guild. I have learned so much about weaving in the last four years that I am sure I never would have learned otherwise. Your influence is in every piece I weave.
Oh wow. Cannot wait. Only joined a couple of months ago and have been binge watching season one, so much information! I had to give myself a break as I was not getting anything done😞 and sometimes we have to do some cleaning🤣 I would say to anyone new to weaving not to be afraid and do it you will learn so much. The only thing I regret is that the cotton Jane uses is so expensive in the UK so I am having to find alternatives.
Hi Dorothy, Im in UK and buy lots of good quality yarn of all varieties from bubz on ebay..... also from ' It was the toast' and 'the weaving shed both on ebay. Yeoman Yarns also have a great selection. I often buy their yarn starter packs which are very reasonable...... As does Airedale Yarns. Maybe you will find these places more reasonably priced... hope so...

Hi Sara, Im a member and yes I agree with comment below/above. The way its all set up makes it really Ideal for everyone regardless of your experience level. I adore the guild and Jane as a teaher is just marvellous and very down to earth. In these times especially, I look forward to each new episode as they give me something really special to look forward to and then give me a reason to carry on. When Im afraid I weave, When Im sad I weave, when I want to switch off I weave or plan the next project or dress a new loom. When Im lonley I go back into the videos and rewatch to learn something more, or just to feel connected. or just to see Janes smiling face and to be entertained by her down to earth enthusiasm and humour. So great to have you join us.....
