Two points about the HUD not mentioned in the video:
    (1) The focus point of the HUD appears to be around the front edge of the hood - so it allows your eyes a shorter focus change as you glance down compared to focusing on the instrument cluster.
    (2) For my use, when I first purchased the SE, I wore glasses for distance, and the instrument cluster was actually a little blurry for me, but the HUD was perfectly in focus. I have since purchased progressive lenses, so that difference is not as important as it used to be.

Hey how can I get the ambient light constantly changing the colour?
Did not see the possibility to make it that way in my settings.
    I also have ambient light

Hold ambient light button (above interior mirror) for 10 sec

Interesting video, thank you. How would you clean the projector well if dust and debris happen to get inside and can you see the projected content with polarized sunglasses?

The well is a difficult spot to reach. Perhaps a VERY SLIGHTLY water damp cloth to pick up dust, and maybe a dry microfiber follow up. I do not have polarized glasses to test with.

I checked on the Inside EVs forum, and one owner reports back that they have no trouble reading the HUD with their polarized sunglasses.

I have the HUD on my 2015 Cooper S ... it's very dim, and I have to tilt my head to the side to be able to read it clearly.
I rented a 2022 Cooper SE with the HUD ... it's bright and clear as day.

Totally unnecessary upgrade, if it was projecting to windshield with much wider area then it would be nice. Why would you need to see the same data in a small screen while you can already see that in instrument panel.

I have trouble calling it “totally unnecessary” - it works for me. (1) My close up vision is not good - instrument cluster is slightly blurry. HUD is in perfect focus (2) The HUD is focused approximately above the front bumper, so it’s a much less dramatic change of focus for your eyes (3) it keeps your eyes down the road (4) It’s cool.
