Dude thank you so much for this guide I spent a good 2-3 hours building an arena farming potions and setting up honey spots for this fight just for me to realize my beach is somehow almost as high as the cloud islands so I had wyverns and harpies coming down while I was trying to get the boss plus all the enemies when I finally got the boss I was low and died sad I had to cheese cause the boss actually seems cool to fight
Also recomend making "W" out of bubbles and pouring honey on both sides (or on at least one). Honey heal and periodic healing potion makes visitng nurse 5 times less needed, as you are able to outheal allot of damage taken. Leading to nurse being used only when affliction is still on and hp is at a critical low. Tested on master and only teleported to nurse 2 or 3 times.
@@nubidubi23 So you see in the video that the structure has two rooms - teleporter room and nurse room. What i did was: 1. I widened nurse's room bottom part till it said that it is suitable. That room became kinda like capital L letter shape (I kept teleporter room design same as in the video). 2. I added door to nurse room at the top of it near ceiling which she couldn't use and walk out. 3. I blocked the widened part of that L room by making passage 2 blocks high, so she can't walk away from teleporter below it. Besides from nurse room changes, i also made sort of a box around other teleporter, just bigger and with gaps so i can still hit Drednautilis, but at least some of his attacks won't hit me. Don't hesitate to use that teleporter if you see a big attack coming even if you don't need to heal with nurse. I think i healed only one time, so it's most likely possible to do even without having nurse room at all. This was the fight when i learned that higher levels of Abigail existed and that it is actually quite strong summon :)
Another strat i used to kill the boss is by activating a slime statue with a 1 second timer in a 2 by 3 box, you then stand in the box with the slime statue, use a few buffs and place a blue slime banner. I recommend having at least 40 defence and good health regen. This will make it so you take 1 damage from the slimes instead of getting hit by the boss, and Abigail (Or the Blade Staff) hits him for you. You can even hit him before going in the box so they target him. They need to nerf Dreadnautilis honestly cuz the fact it has a ton of health, kills you in 3 hits on Master mode, shoots hard to see projectiles AND summons tanky minions is straight up unfair, not to mention the other blood moon enemies hurting you
Try reforging all your accessories to warding. Assuming none of your accessories are warding, it will boost your defense from 27 to 47 (classic) / 51 (expert) / 55 (master). Also, try equipping accessories that boost your defense, like the flesh knuckles.
I have one huge issue, at fishing part, when i fish, most likely ill spawn a shark, and when i teleport away, it teleports with me *so what i should do*

@@rokumura458 For the Daybloom question, just make an herb farm, there's a lot of videos on it already And for the mech boss question, I suggest going for the Destroyer first, there's a way to cheese this boss in EVERY class, so you shouldn't have any problem.
It's not gonna be as good because the sheer amount of defense the Dreadnautilus has will just straight up render your imp staff useless. You'll just end up relying on your whips if you do that.
I had an caracter that i played as an summoner and i couldn't defeat it. Unfortunatly, the save got corupted and i had to ditch the adventure. Such an shame :(
@@KamikazeeYT Ahh yup that’s what I assumed too Couldn’t find it in the dungeon so I went about it my own way and cheesed it with a mixture of your method and the box one; and after a while it finally worked out

Tested this and got it to half health. Issue for me is patience lol But this works really well Edit: i killed it and only had to use the nurse twice! you can use the teleporter to dodge pretty much every attack lol, and if you put walls around you the squids wont spawn

Abigail gets majorly buffed in once hardmode starts. Pair her with the Firecracker and she can melt through some bosses crazy fast.

this tutorial is awesome, i built the arena in pre-hardmode and i cant wait to test it out once i beat the WoF with my friends
thanks this helped i recommend putting heart lanterns and if on pc replace the pressure plates with levers because it was a bit glitchy when i did it

What do you do about wandering eyes? Them, as well as demon eyes, commonly hit me while I fish for the dread.

The biggest problem is that summoners has rlly low defense, even with spooky tree armor u will only got 30 defense for the armor
