Kinda wish the optic staff had a rework, compared to the other staffs before it, it still gets overshadowed. I get that it’s flying, but the sanguine staff can be obtained as soon as you beat WoF and carry you til golem if you wanted. The blade staff is also pretty viable as well with correct setup. Not the mention, the AI of the new staffs are significantly better than the older staffs.

I actually love the new brain of confusion when compared to the worm scarf: either guaranteed less damage overall, or a chance to avoid damage completely. It’s a great balance and makes the choice of world evil less about optimization and more about personal preference.

An easy way to farm wyverns is to use the slime mount. All you have to do is jump over and onto the wyvern as it charges. Then you just constantly whip it as you bounce on it while it flies under you.
Even though I'm really late to this video its worth noting that the spider summons climb up walls extremely fast so putting up walls in your arena will improve their reliability and damage by a lot
That spider tip about spawning it on the eye is amazing. I used the sanguine bats and they both entered 2nd phase around the same time but with that tip it was easy

Hello ZuZu! You probably already know this but as soon as you can get the steampunk you can put asphalt blocks on the bottom to make it easier to dodge
If you need the sanguine bats for the mechs, remember to place a ton of walls around your box, because the spider summons can move around more easily with walls
Craft the berserker glove as a summoner it is useful kind off auto attack melee speed and 7 armour points Tip: turning crimtane ore into ingots then selling gives more gold For gold at start of hardmode sell hellstone ingots and the ore can be destroyed with bombs in hardmode Only the whip modifier effects its range and speed so reforging it to bulky and then having attack speed accessory is good
Don't take this as an insult but that arena is utter trash. I fought the mech bosses in it because my friend built this exact same design, and the solid blocks and tight rows of platforms severely limit movement, and offer more space to move for the Destroyer. Honey also slows you down, causing more harm than good. Using spiders is also unbelieveably impractical, since they have a hard time damaging airborne targets like bosses. It'd probably also be better to go straight for the sanguine staff since it can carry you through a handful of bosses and there aren't many more good minion options. After that going for the Destroyer is probably the wisest since most minions are capable of area damage, and all whips are designed to be effective on multiple targets(even if they lose damage over hit enemies, they still shred). On the other side of the coin, obtaining the frozen wings early is always an excellent idea. Keep up the good work!
It's up to you really. For me, I didn't cause it's pretty RNG, and I know that I would be relatively fine in general without it. But if you want to, why not? Might be fun exploring the desert :)

I'm doing a modded playthrough of thorium and calamity with cheat sheet to get items quickly because I hate grinding for items. I was fighting celestial event but then I left the world. Do the pillars remain that you have killed. I have nebula and stardust left.
Alternate route: Fight the duke, get his wings and the sharknado staff, kill the mechbosses and next plantera, fight the empress of light on daytime, get the terraprisma and just end the entire game.

I've bin a summoner main since I started terraria years ago. The optic staff for sure is a little odd but in every playthrough I have always done I just cant seem to put it down until after plantera for when u get pygmy staff. This held true in my 1.4 play through to, maybe I'm just crazy lol

I already talked about it. In general, I said that it’s a good summon, but I can’t exactly recommend casual players to farm hours for it. Which was why I used spiders and the optic staff, which was much easier to obtain.
*In 1.4.1, the Blade staff now drops from queen slime!*

I made the hollowed whip first by mistake. I have arena like yours but used wired heart ❤️ statues which seemed to help

It's fine honestly, the jungle is pretty huge. Just rush plantera and purify it using a clentaminator asap if you want.
