Jeanne doesn't actually have that dark side in her, which is why our Jalter and this Jeanne from Samurai Remnant are similar in appearance, but entirely different in personality. Chaldea's summoning system is kinda messed up in a sense that it always breaks the laws of holy grail war summoning, so summoning both Jalter and Cu alter is possible here. In general holy grail war, since the summoned servant somewhat corresponds to the summoner, this guy summoned Jeanne in alter outfit because he is edgy, but this is just a regular Jeanne in lancer class. Same deal with Cu berserker, you can summon him legitimately, but you will get a real berserker Cu, NOT Alter Cu who doesn't even like fighting that much anyway.

To quote someone else, this is just Jeanne having a very bad day. Not only is the “Uncorruptable pure saint” corrupted somehow, she just gets lambasted by the story the entire time. Now if this were Jalter, Japan would be perpetually on fire, and she’d never be a sacrifice. At the very least, she’d try throwing a pot shot before getting betrayed.
She’s not even corrupted, she’s still that faith loving idiot girl just that she went through getting crucified and remembers it. It’s basically traumatized Jeanne who double downs on her belief regardless.

So this is why this japter is so different from the jalter we know and love. I do love the idea that jalter is basically who abbi is to us. They are servants whose connections run far deeper with guda and if summoned they will always think of guda as their master specially with the case of abi who got summoned by fu, and still disobeyed and worked with guda after trying to (and failing) to make them hers.

I also find their relationship interesting, it's basically a scenario where the lengths of a saint like Jeanne will go through just to save a particular person (Chiemon) who's already decided that salvation is impossible for him. She willingly let herself get corrupted since she's immune to forced corruption to be a bit more selfish and forsake her ideal on saving everyone to save just her master. I think you're spot on for that. She's actually willing to hell with him if necessary if that meant she can be his salvation when even God has forsaken him, but such kindness isn't something he'd likely think he's worthy of and is dead set on thinking he's too far gone. Despite all that, he probably doesn't want Jeanne to follow him for her own sake in the end. I'd like to think Chiemon found salvation through Jeanne at that ending even if it was short lived in the end.

I actually liked her relationship with Chiemon here. Definitely stands out more than Ruler Jeanne imo and is a great scenario on what happens when a Saint wants to save someone who's already decided that salvation is impossible for him.
