Haven't beaten it yet, but this game has delivered almost everything i wanted to see in a Fate game. It's a game that actually feels like you're in a Grail War.
Crucially, additions like the Rogue Servants were made to add meaningful gameplay between the major story beats. The creators understood that a game and an anime/LN are two different mediums and added appropriate material to make the experience even more satisfying.

@@luksalter8200 I was talking about the sevants lore wise, with some exceptions like charlemagne and ozymandias there was a lot of servants that disliked or felt unconfortable with Gil around them (and gil making it worse with his personality) but now he is right there with them instead of distancing himself. Media wise Gil is popular to the point of being recognized even by people who never had any contatct with fate verse through his sheer charisma.

Sometimes if you wait a minute 1 dude in a group of 50 will try to hit you to keep up the illusion. But of course he is way to slow , and his attack doesn't really have any range . And even if he hits you you will just armor through it , take 3% damage and kill him in 2 hits . Welcome to musou game s

The strongest point of this game is that it's good. It just does not fail you. You expect that some part of it would be bad. But no. Every aspect of it is polished and thought of. And it is also a long awaited action game in the Fate universe. I don't know how to put it. It's like to recieve a Christmas present in the middle of autumn. This game is beautiful.
I think some parts of the story slag on and forcefully gives you out of place fights with random stock enemies. Also the fact that some new intresting enemies are only introduced towards the end and appear like at max 2-3 times before never being shown again is wack. I still really like the game but combat, while fun, gets shafted by boring trash fights sometimes.
It's good but the endings certainly feel like they have been clipped for a lack of a better word. Unfortunately the most complete one feels like the entreat the darkness route but even that one feels rather abrupt.

It you had just played any musou game ever released you would know what I'm talking about And the trend is going towards grappling popular IPS for musou game because you have to put almost no effort into it to make it work

@CuteAssTiger I have no idea how the game is gonna play I'm just talking from a pure spectacle point of view. If the game is successful at making the combos feel impactful and flashy then that's the spectacle side of a hack and slash done. There's been pretty much minimal gameplay shown so I'm not gonna jump to conclusions on the difficulty or AI settings of it.

They will not be happening for a while you probably get it 5 years. The studio who make the anime isn't big plus enough. we already have other work such as fate grand order lostbelt 6 which is next in getting an anime adaptation in the future.

The year of Keian Uprising with Ronin samurai rebelling and trying to defeat the Tokugawa family. And we literally have one of the main instigators of that as Rider's master, Yui Shouetsu Then you have Caster's master. Tsuchimikado Yasuhiro. The Tsuchumikado family, descendants of Abe no seimei during this time have lost their political position and the onmyoudo is in decline of belief and the Tsuchimikado were desperatly trying to restore both things. Its clear this Moon waxing ritual(not holy grail war, its not by the einzbern) is one of the attempts of the tsuchimikado family to restore their legacy. add in there that the latest shogun Iemitsu just died and left his 10 year old son Ietsuna in charge. This is also set like almost a decade after ooku timeperiod as we have Nobutsuna in the trailer sadly we wont be seeing munenori or lady kasuga as they already died of old age so we only have Nobutsuna left from Ooku
Fate never disappoints with their openings and animations this is just beautiful
If MAPPA do it, it will be 10x better and 10x more casualities
