I was at school in Austin in 85 walking down 6th St one night when I hear some really cool guitar coming from one of the establishments. I stood outside for a few minutes to listen and, even though I was a broke college student, paid the fee to go in an listen. Small venue, extremely memorable performance. I purchased the album the next day.
I bought this album based on the cover alone in 83...one of my best purchases ever

I heard this on public radio WDET when it was about something...I bought the album the same day at Sam Jam's in Ferndale.
