Launch day always has issues. Bright side is, they are tweeting about resolving the issues. So not even 24 hours and they resolved all the issues. I think that's pretty insane. 👀
Who knows, it could go down again tomorrow. But as long as they let us know and work on fixing it, that's all the true community wants to see.

Hard to say. I think they may want it to take longer for a reason?
There are still a few events to come (along with rift mode stuff), it might get rectified there by giving us free currency.
I think on day one it's hard to tell, but should they keep it this way, I think it is a bit long.
However, I don't think I'd stay that way if you speak up with others who may feel the same. Try letting them know in their feedback on discord. I'm 1000% sure others mentioned it too.
I personally at least think you should be able to try characters free in practice mode. Not only to learn what they do, but to see if we want to purchase it since as you said, takes a while to get them.
I feel it takes as long as League of Legends/Overwatch to get characters hah. I wonder if prices will drop every season (like League of Legends) as well. Older the character, lower the price? 🤔
Bright side though, as a free to play player you can still get the battle pass. Then just keep using the currency it gives you each season to purchase a new one.

Yes, just well-timed neutral dodge, even will work in the air. If you input a direction you'll roll or move out the way. (similar to smash/allstars brawl) I just think of it without the shield hah.
Not as fluid as smash, by any means, respectfully. But i’m gonna try and get into it cause I don’t have or really want a switch right now and this game is accessible

How many prestige do you get for a normal skin stuff like that?
Hard to say, but I know an icon gave me about 40? So a skin has to easily be in the 200ish + area. I'd assume way more though, maybe closer to 1k?

Yup, everything. I believe they dropped character progress though, their reasoning was balance for new players to compete having everyone on the same playing field. Which I understand. (perk progress)

I haven't had any crashes, but I know the team is already working on it. Have you tried reinstalling the game?

Yea, I'd suggest wait and see by the end of today. It's launch day, and there are always going to be bugs/glitches/connection issues, but the bright side is they let us know they are fixing things.
If not, maybe submit a ticket. The only time I've crashed (i play on ps5) was spamming the login queue.

I'd submit a ticket, other beta players had their stuff transferred. Their article also says players would keep their stuff.

I was playing this game and I got kicked out. I can't get back in now.
Might be maintenance, they started letting PC in so I'm sure there are issues. Steam says over 100k players on steam alone, I can't IMAGINE the other systems.

Hmm, kinda? Some maps drop items that you can throw and characters usually have projectiles they can throw as well (boomerangs, basketballs, pies, rockets, missiles, etc). I guess you can say the item mechanic is baked into the characters.
However, I feel if players really wanted something like that, I think it's possible they may do an event or something that really has items shine.
The game is now more fluid, faster paced and has better graphics thanks to Unreal Engine 5, and I’m having fun maining Finn, but only… IF ONLY THEY BRING BEN 10!😭😭😭😭
