You’re making shen’s parents sound like awful people, they didn’t abandoned him, they exiled him and for good reason, shen went to the local panda village with his army of wolves in an attempt to massacre them all. That’s why his parents exiled him, and it wasn’t a easy decision for them to do because halfway through the 2nd movie the soothsayer informed shen that they loved him so much that sending him away caused them to die from heartbreak. I’m sorry if I sound like the “um actually🤓” guy but saying shen’s parents abandoned him makes them look like monsters when it’s the opposite. Idk why I feel so strongly about this to defend fictional animated parents but it just “hits me” and I’m sorry for that.
Yeah. I was gonna say too, he wasn’t abandoned outright. Also the chameleon in KP4 was rejected by Kung Fu schools and went into sorcery so 50% of the villain origin story was in the movie already. She wasn’t just angry outright.
Also Tai lung didn't turn evil because he got rejected as the dragon warrior. He got rejected because he already had a lust for power. It literally says oogway rejected him because their was darkness in him.
I really wanted the Chameleon to use her sorcery magic to psychologically toy with Po....Each of the "returned" villains would've represented a certain repressed fear an older Po faces in his mid like crysis. And each battle would've taken place in a different location, iconic to that villain.... Kai could've fought Po in the dark version of the Spirit Realm, Lord Shen would hunt Po down in a burning Panda Village, under the red sky and fireworks...And Tai Lung could've "visited" chained up Po in the prison from the first movie.... Po should've defeated his inner demons one by one, and break free from these illusions
I quite like this. (I thought I'd throw this here...) I also thought of a small idea focusing on the Chameleon's childhood, involving her intensive studies of powerful scorcery and inadvertently contracting a literal evil demon (= her villainy) So I like the idea that while Po combats his figurative inner demons of his morbid past, Po is also having to help free the Chameleon from her genuine inner demon. I personally would imagine a story where she's legitamately innocent, and her villainy is down to the demon's antagonisation. And ultimately stepping away from the 'my-friend-betrayed-me' cliche that ran throughout the several films.

Wow, I’m impressed with your work here! The editing is top notch and I’m quite inspired by your dedication. However, there’s still some things I would like to address. 1. The Chameleon’s backstory: an improvement from the movie, but Mantis, Viper, the demonic bunny children, the kids from the Panda Village, and the Pig candidate with the bladed wings prove that someone like the Chameleon can still learn Kung Fu. I would instead have the Chameleon be rejected due to a physical or mental disability (which I think could be a deep and relatable experience) or just poor skill. Like you said, not everyone is naturally talented, and the Chameleon’s talent is sorcery. 2. Zhen’s Change: Zhen observing two instances of theft is a pretty weak reason for her to change her way of life. Also, I think having two back to back instances is a bit plot convenient. Remember, that Zhen was alone and fearful most of her youth. She stole to survive and just needed someone to rely on as she believed the world was cruel. Stealing isn’t the important part of her arc, but finding the treasure of compassion and recognizing that she doesn’t have to be alone. Po should’ve saw that Zhen was “bad” because she was basically the Chameleon’s pet. Instead of being mad at her for betraying him, I think it would’ve been a tender moment for him to extend his hand to her just as the Chameleon did. But unlike the Chameleon, Po means it as a genuine friend who understands her struggles and is forgiving. This act is something unexpected to her as she’s never been treated with such compassion. This can go hand and hand with the theme of change as change often requires mutual understanding. 3. The Shifu Problem: How can Shifu team up with Po and Tai Lung, while accompanying Li Shan and Mr. Ping? If Shifu’s hip was a problem, how could he fight Po and Tai Lung during training/fight the Chameleon’s henchmen/fight off Shen’s fleet in KFP2/fight the Chameleon’s forms? This point isn’t consistent. 4. The Worst Parents Award goes to: Tai Lung’s parents do not need to exist. I find the concept of parents abandoning their kid so that a random stranger can one day become a powerful warrior and eventually save the valley from said child to be nonsensical. Tai Lung’s parents only serve to convolute the story as they don’t contribute to Po and Tai Lung’s arc in an active way. I would say this is what made Shen such an impactful villain. He played an active role in disrupting Po’s inner peace. Saying that Po and Tai Lung’s journeys were “always going to happen” because of Oogway pulling strings seems less rewarding and undermines the work they put in to change. 5. Remember Your Training: Po would understand the importance of teamwork since he just learned to value his family and friends who saved his life when defeating Kai. Plus, he was synergizing well with the Furious Five during the Musician Fight in KFP2. My advice is to have Po train Tai Lung, while Shifu accompanies Li Shan and Mr. Ping. Shifu should’ve been reluctant to let Po go off with Tai Lung because of his guilt for failing Tai Lung. This can be an incentive for him to join Po’s dads and find them. 6. On Second Thought, F Zhen: Zhen never existed. This movie is about Po and Tai Lung’s redemption arc. This will streamline the story. The fan service will also feel less fan servicey because it actually has a purpose now. 7. Shifu’s New Purpose: After seeing Tai Lung change, Shifu musters up the courage to be a better dad. This will feel so rewarding because Shifu’s arc will have come full circle. He can parent Tai Lung alongside the Chameleon too.
@@FilmFixer361Mb on that detail. I still feel like they’d ultimately detract from Tai Lung’s story. Shifu stepping back into his life would be a greater and immediate purpose. Shifu can still find purpose in love, but that takes time. Time that will play out across future movies. By incorporating Tai Lung’s parents, the arc with the greatest potential for Shifu is erased. I would also argue that Tai Lung wasn’t rejected for no reason. Oogway knew that he had darkness in his heart. His drive was impressive, but it was built on pride and ego. Oogway chose Po because Po was selfless and never sought glory. Tai Lung didn’t understand the true importance of the Dragon Warrior, so having him find that out on his own and not through “fate” feels more organic and fulfilling. My last few nitpicks are that an end credit scene would feel out of place in the KFP franchise. Moreover, it would be weird if Shifu fell in love with the Chameleon when she’s Tai Lung’s mother. This detail also comes out of nowhere. If Tai Lung’s mother was the Chameleon, then how would her backstory make sense? Anyway, that’s all I have to say about that. Peace.

This was just an alternate scenario. the chameleon being tai lungs mom, and the chameleon being with shi fu are two separate scenrios. I did this to see what people would like more but everyone keeps thinking the tai lung rewrite is cannon to the rest even tho i said it wasn't in the end

I won't lie, I was making me some good beef stew when watching so I missed that part :p In that case, I think the Tai Lung rewrite is the best version and you could incorporate ideas from the other scenario. So Tai Lung can replace Zhen, Shifu can go with Po's dads, Shifu becomes Tai Lung's dad again, and Shifu can also train and fall in love with the Chameleon. Best of both worlds.

Pure evil villains like Shen or Voldemort can often be the best villains, but miss pushes victim down stairs is not this type of villain.
nope i think there's a lot in sehn's back story i don't think that's it, i think that they just didn't give us the whole context of his story because why shen go to his parents after finding the success it could be that his parents weren't much active in his life because of their politics or something and maybe shen just wanted their affection but didn't knew how to as his parents/ guardian were absent throughout his whole life

Shen was a Flawed individual not evil, he's a person who did evil things, his influence was his parent's rejecting him due to the actions of trying to avoid something he couldn't control, Destiny or atleast in pursuit of avoiding it he is bound by it. it's the same as Tai lung where because he let expectations of his master control him to the point were he felt like he was nothing if he wasn't the dragon warrior. Shen is person who did bad things for bad reasons, because of those reasons thats what makes him intersting and this video is simplifying ALOT of nuance with it's wording. Shen is a person that did alot bad due to his own Fear of the future, trying to take of control of something he couldn't.

This is a great take on what The Chameleon could have been! I also want to say I appreciate the editing, you’re a natural 😂. As much as I love your take on what The Chameleon’s backstory could have been, I can’t help but think of seeing it another way. If they were up to me, I would want to delve deeper into general Kai and master Oogway’s past. We know how they fought side-by-side and weren’t exactly the nicest people at the time, perhaps that army, we saw them fighting in the Flashback of kung fu panda three was the Juniper City empire. Led by The Chameleons parents, ultimately Oogway and General Kai end up killing The Chameleon’s parents, but at the cost of Oogway’s physical health, as seen in KFP3. We could also say that The Chameleons parents we’re trying to stop Oogway’s and General Kai’s tyrannical conquest by waging war on the two. Word finally spreads back home and The Chameleons finds out that her parents had been killed by Oogway and General Kai, she then goes to city to city, town to town in search of a Kung fu master who will teach her their ways. We could take The Chameleon being to small into this version by saying, people at the time didn’t think small creatures coukd ,earn Kung fu. Therefore she was denied entry by all kung fu establishments, she then turns to sorcery, after mastering sorcery she is given the ability to shape shift, and live long after her time is due. Since she found a short cut with sorcery. She wanted to find a short cut on Kung fu. So she learned how to take the king fu of others. Years and years of waiting for master villians like Kai to arise she hears word of tai lung, Shen and the returned Kai, and she wishes to take their Kung fu, to destroy Kai and Oogway and all whom are associated with them. She wishes to become the most powerful villain Oogway coukd ever face.
In the first story where shifu fights the chameleon it dosen't make sense he dosen't hesitate with when she turns into thai lung but then he does when she turns into po like that defeats the entire purpose of him not hesitating because he knows what happeneds but then does it immediately after

Kai would first get better development as a character on his reasons for caring so much about power, which Lets take my concept and he'd taught to value those around him, to not be defined by one label He can be Whoever he chooses to be, Powerful or not. kawari(chameleon is too generic) being Taught the lesson of Achieving past your limits, as she doesn't need the the traits and magic to become her own Dragon warrior, She can make the most of what she can control despite her own limits. It would most likely lead to final bout being more impactful with all the prevoius villains coming to assist PO against Chameloun with their own reasons, Tai lung in appreciation and redemption, Shen Wanting to see were destiny might take him next, kai for rivalary, He's only one that gets to beat the Dragon warrior and wants to see how even further he can how much more he can learn. Kawari using all their powers against them, overcoming them in well her intellegience and stragegy, while they overcome her in team singery. In the end Po comes bring her to his now Dojo, passing down the title to his next student which he intently believed it would've and should've been tigress as result of her strong resolve, Good heart and learning the value of Differences, In a scene reflecting Po's own journey kawari goes to his Step Father's shop to eat their new SPICY noodles, which she takes and it blows her rocket mouth all the way down into po's pointing finger, that was intently pointing at tigress. Tigress give smirk and jokely asks, "are poitning at me master?" Po smiles, "No the little flaming rocket that just fell infront of you." Kawari recovers and stares. "whats with the fing-oh right the cermony, My apologies" Po "THE NEXT DRAGON WARRIOR HAS BE FOUND!" Kawari "huh, wait weren't you pointing at her, surely it was an accident." Po with greatest grin, ther firous five and Shifu all Smile with everyone saying: "THERE ARE NO ACCIDENTS!" so comes now a new dragon warrior to lead and defend this land from the many bandits that seem to come for some reason.
How about The Chameleon suffered from an illness that prevented her from becoming a Kung Fu master - and so, she turned to magic to steal the powers of masters to become the strongest warrior alive (but never truly gets over her illness; which is why she continues to steal so many). The Chameleon eventually hires Zhen to steal Po's staff - which she does, but is confronted by Shifu and is forced to take him as well. The Chameleon opens the Spirit Realm to summon Kung Fu masters and steal their powers...but Tai Lung escapes. Po struggles to choose the right candidate, but then Tai Lung reveals The Chameleon's plan. They head to Juniper City to take down the Chameleon. On their way, Tai Lung and Po train and begin to learn from each other - but the Furious Five still have trouble trusting Tai Lung. Once there, they meet up with Zhen, who agrees to help them…for a price. They head to the Chameleon's lair, but Zhen betrays them and the Chameleon steals their Kung Fu (minus Po, Tigress and Tai Lung who narrowly escape). Po and Tai Lung get into a duel after Po loses his confidence, but Tai Lung encourages him. Zhen realizes her mistakes and helps Po convince the Den of Thieves to stop the Chameleon. As the villagers battle the Chameleon's army, Po, Tigress and Tai Lung try to fight the Chameleon but get overwhelmed when the Chameleon turns into a horrifying Chimaera. The Chameleon then steals their powers, and soon overpowers them. Po gives Tigress his staff, with which she summons a majestic dragon of Yin and Yang, which defeats the Chameleon; and PO uses the staff to return all of the stolen kung fu skills to their owners, who return to the Spirit Realm. Shen and Kai take the Chameleon with them. As Tai Lung departs, Po closes the portal; allowing Tai Lung to stay and further redeem himself. Tai Lung gives his respect to Po and finally acknowledges him as the true Dragon Warrior. Zhen is also given the new role of leader to the Den of Thieves. Back at the Valley, Tai Lung reunites with Shifu, expressing that he will wait as long as it takes to be forgiven…before having a cup of warm tea with his old master. Po finally chooses Tigress as his successor. And so, Po and Tai Lung help train Tigress to become the next Dragon Warrior. This is just the version I'd go with if the people were trying to go for a female successor - 'cause Tigress would obviously be the right choice. But to be honest, Tai Lung would still be my prefered choice.
I’d agree with u except on my successor part. I don’t think Po should have to pass it on. And I also think tail lung and Shifu should have some heartfelt moments and Shifu and tigress since the two obvi scarred from childhood

Not sure I like the idea of Master Shifu and the Chameleon making up with each other and having kids. Sounds weird to me. Also while I find the Chameleon being Tai Lung’s mom a charming thought, I still find it weird as well. The reason why I find it charming though is because it gives her a purpose to be in favor of helping him complete his quest and goals compared with her selfish attitude to Po and the other villains we got in KFP4 without giving them a second chance despite her wicked nature, another thing about her character that fell flat for me apart from her bleak origin story. Also, she needs a name too. Your rewrite still needs to give her character a proper name.
In addition to my last comment, I'd like to write a Sing continuation to wrap it up right without doing Suki wrong or having her portrayed as a permanent Crystal possession, except I've got too many other scripts on my plate as it is that no one else bothers doing, including a meta movie focused on a fan-cherished male Tiny Toons character.
I know I've already asked this, but I hope you can do another video but do what if death in kung fu panda franchise. I can imagine him having a peaceful conversation with oogway. I remember a animation about the chameleon was born in a royal family similar to lord Shen and the had all learned about Kung fu however the chameleon was the only one who wasn’t able to be as strong as her siblings and thus she tried to learn Sorcery instead but her parents specifically her father told her that sorcery was not allowed in her family so she was given an option ether stop learning sorcery or continue learning sorcery and leave her family she had choose her path because of that I think it would fit in more to the spiritual leader role for po that he needs to be a good teacher for zhen(the fox girl) just like shifu it would make a interesting story as well as the chameleon origin story could add more elements from the three king fu panda villains that would be cool so yeah

But I think he would have to wait his turn first if Po brings him home because he still owes community service to the valley for his past crimes, so I think Po should go with Tigress instead for the meantime after reuniting Shifu with Tai Lung again in which they both regain back each other's trust. It would make sense as Tai Lunng also needs to gain the valley's trust if he is to become the next hero so that he is praised and not feared. Then later when her turn ends and Tai Lung has been cleared off all charges including his prison sentence, then I guess he can be chosen as the next Dragon Warrior placing his nephew Peng next in line. Another thought I had was after his turn ends and Peng gets chosen giving Tai Lung someone to pass his legacy onto, maybe Peng trains Po's fox friend Zhen to become his next successor, thus training new generations of students. It sounds like it could work.

This way we have a clear relationship to Po: she is a dark reflection of the fan he was before being picked by Oogway, but instead of having a great destiny to fulfill and good teachers and father figures to look up to, all she had was a perverse ability she may even had hated about herself until she was desperate, maybe living in poverty and alone. This would make Po question if he would have been the same as her had their roles been reversed, realize the importance of his support system, and strengthen the message of teaching the “right way” to future generations. I think In the alternative ending with Tai Lung it would be cool if the chameleon disguised herself as Tai Lung and attack a few places (kinda like what she did in the movie) after tai lung fights her and escapes so it seems like he could have chose to be bad again before we see him go to po and explain how he didn’t do it (and then have that police chase scene but with po and Tai Lung and not po and zhen) while they discover important masters have been influenced to follow the chameleons orders because she transforms into like some king or maybe important figure and either scares them or they think she’s actually someone important Or we just learn about her powers later so it’s this moment where we find out she’s been following them the whole time disguised as background characters we see in the city (tbh this doesn’t make sense but i think it could be cool if done correctly) Maybe she doesn’t become any of the other masters during the fight because she chooses to try and get Tai lung first but it doesn’t work and fuels her anger and motivation since “I had an army but Tai lung still beat me with his powerful kung fu” or something like that and makes her jealous Sorry if my English is bad lol
Honestly I would change it a bit. 1. At the start we should get backstory and have her age around the time shifu trained tai lung, the bandits constantly robbing her made the chameleon hope for a champion. Soon she hears of a new student being trained at the jade palace. And eventually even sending tai king off for missions to protect China. She keeps hoping until one day tai lung actually does help her putting her full faith in him of course until she hears that her hero betrayed the valley and attacked the people. This then caused the bandits to come back and likely caused a lot of chaos throughout the valley since tai king was the only member actively protecting the valley. Feeling betrayed by her hero she then seeks out a way to train herself but is shut down by everyone not because of her size but because of her drive we will change it to her wanting revenge against the bandits which goes against the code you are not supposed to go and pick fights with people just because you know they are bad it is only to protect the innocents. So feeling even more betrayed she wonders home after her travels and stumbles across some witch hut place “idk trying to find an excuse for magic since there are literally no characters who have this” and she sees the lady performing magic, getting an idea she begs the witch to teach her and she eventually does. The witch teaches her good magic from a book that is basically for defense only and doesn’t really harm people, the chameleon at this point is fine with this but is bothered she cannot learn from the forbidden section of the book. After this the chameleon forms a close bond to the witch and goes home to visit family, unfortunately she is confronted by the bandits again and while she is strong her magic can do nothing agains the bandits and she is defeated. She returns to the witch and bags her to teach her the forbidden magic but refuses and causes the witch to have to make her leave. Like Kai feeling betrayed by her closest friend comes back in the dead of night and steals the book, but is confronted by the witch who is then defeated by the chameleon using the forbidden magic and steals her magic. This then leads the chameleon down the path of being power hungry absorbing the powers of everyone who wronged her or she deems evil. She saves other lizards throughout the valley and this is why she has the army of lizards they feel in debt to her since she saved them. Soon she hears of the new dragon warrior and his battles with tai lung, kai, and shen as well as many others. She however does not like this since the last time she put her faith in a so called “dragon worrior” it ended in disaster. She wonders how she will be able to defeat him however since she knows at this point her magic isn’t strong enough. Until she hears about Po returning from the spirit world using his mystical staff, she knows if she can get that staff she likely will be able to congregate hundreds of evil warriors from beyond the grave so that she can absorb their power and become strong enough to defeat Po and bring true peace to the valley. She then gets the staff and like before summons all of those before, until she thinks of tai lung, when she brings him back she speaks to him and ask him “do you remember me? How you saved me all those years ago? Yes, you do, and I put my faith in you to protect me in my family and what did that get me? NOTHING!” And they battle Kai is shaken by this because he hasn’t thought about how his choice effected the people he saved since before he was blinded by rage but this Kai has had time to heal in peace knowing that he was defeated and there was nothing he could do anymore. This causes the slightest opening and she takes it to steal his powers. 2. Po and his friend as they travel begin to notice people that have fighting capabilities beyond that of a normal person and like how oogway picked the furious 5, poo goes on a similar path finding his own new furious 5. With the fox girl basically becoming the leader like Tigres was. 3. The reason the furious 5 where not in the story was because like po they all became masters. And since po was strong enough to handle himself and the valley they left to protect other valleys across China. This is why they needed a new furious 5 since while po might be strong he still is having issues keeping the valley 100% safe without exhausting himself. 4. After po and his new team defeat the chameleon he notices tai lung and vice versa, he sees how much he has changed and as his final act as dragon worrior offers tai king the position. Tai lung stops and thinks about everything that has happened in his life, and thinks back to the moment he and po fought and po told him “there is no secret ingredient, it’s just you” and tai lung gets shaken, for the first time he thinks about what he truly wants and he tells po, “no, not right now at least. I’m… not ready for a responsibility that big after everything I did… po then walks up to him and tells him that is the same way he felt, the burden at the start was almost more than he could handle at times. But I have walked that path and if you’d like I can walk you through it, tai lung shaken by this bows to po, while the other villians just roll thier eyes and ask “not to ruin the moment but can you send us back we are tired of looking at you” as po apologizes and lets them go “it’s much better than how they all bowed because they 100% would not do this”. 5. We then see Po and tai lung at the ceremony to announce to the public the new dragon warrior, shifu and everyone is there and shifu looks at kai after everything and tells him the same thing from the first movie “I’ve always been proud of you” as Po tells tai lung to come out and announces that he is the new dragon warrior the people although kinda off put since they remember what he did all those years ago begin to come around as tai lung bows and tells everyone how sorry he is and that he will work every day to fix what he did all those years ago, tai lung gets nervous thinking that they still won’t accept him but he hears a clap, and then another, until the entire crowd erupts in cheer and he stands up and smiles as the movie ends.

It's not rude, but saying he'd "win an Oscar", calling his own rewrite "genius" (specially when he recycles so many scenes) sounds a bit exagerated. Even egotistical.

I got three ideas while watching this: 1. An interaction, in the cameleons prison scene, between the main villains from the different kung fu panda movies would be awesome, even just a small one 2. Po should learn even more magical skills, or at least just one 3. The fight scene between the cameleon and po should have more supernatural aspects, since it felt unsatisfying to watch Po and the cameleon fight in a normal world after Pos fight with Kai Great video btw!
I wish the furious five would’ve had a large roll for this fourth film because I don’t like dismissing fan favorites or valuable characters celebrities. Like only Tigress would be the one to convince Po to choose his new dragon warrior.
I understand. The reason they were left absent from the fourth movie however is because the filmmakers and animation crew wanted to keep the budget low but could not afford hiring the original voice cast to reprise their roles as the five. Still I'm glad they made a last appearance at the end of the movie during the closing credits.

You’re making shen’s parents sound like awful people, they didn’t abandoned him, they exiled him and for good reason, shen went to the local panda village with his army of wolves in an attempt to massacre them all. That’s why his parents exiled him, and it wasn’t a easy decision for them to do because halfway through the 2nd movie the soothsayer informed shen that they loved him so much that sending him away caused them to die from heartbreak. I’m sorry if I sound like the “um actually🤓” guy but saying shen’s parents abandoned him makes them look like monsters when it’s the opposite. I really wanted the Chameleon to use her sorcery magic to psychologically toy with Po....Each of the "returned" villains would've represented a certain repressed fear an older Po faces in his mid like crysis.
And each battle would've taken place in a different location, iconic to that villain....
Kai could've fought Po in the dark version of the Spirit Realm, Lord Shen would hunt Po down in a burning Panda Village, under the red sky and fireworks...And Tai Lung could've "visited" chained up Po in the prison from the first movie....

involving her intensive studies of powerful scorcery and inadvertently contracting a literal evil demon (= her villainy)
So I like the idea that while Po combats his figurative inner demons of his morbid past, Po is also having to help free the Chameleon from her genuine inner demon.
I personally would imagine a story where she's legitamately innocent, and her villainy is down to the demon's antagonisation. And ultimately stepping away from the 'my-friend-betrayed-me' cliche that ran throughout the several films.

Wow, I’m impressed with your work here! The editing is top notch and I’m quite inspired by your dedication. However, there’s still some things I would like to address.
1. The Chameleon’s backstory: an improvement from the movie, but Mantis, Viper, the demonic bunny children, the kids from the Panda Village, and the Pig candidate with the bladed wings prove that someone like the Chameleon can still learn Kung Fu. I would instead have the Chameleon be rejected due to a physical or mental disability (which I think could be a deep and relatable experience) or just poor skill. Like you said, not everyone is naturally talented, and the Chameleon’s talent is sorcery.
2. Zhen’s Change: Zhen observing two instances of theft is a pretty weak reason for her to change her way of life. Also, I think having two back to back instances is a bit plot convenient.
Remember, that Zhen was alone and fearful most of her youth. She stole to survive and just needed someone to rely on as she believed the world was cruel. Stealing isn’t the important part of her arc, but finding the treasure of compassion and recognizing that she doesn’t have to be alone.
Po should’ve saw that Zhen was “bad” because she was basically the Chameleon’s pet. Instead of being mad at her for betraying him, I think it would’ve been a tender moment for him to extend his hand to her just as the Chameleon did. But unlike the Chameleon, Po means it as a genuine friend who understands her struggles and is forgiving. This act is something unexpected to her as she’s never been treated with such compassion. This can go hand and hand with the theme of change as change often requires mutual understanding.
3. The Shifu Problem: How can Shifu team up with Po and Tai Lung, while accompanying Li Shan and Mr. Ping? If Shifu’s hip was a problem, how could he fight Po and Tai Lung during training/fight the Chameleon’s henchmen/fight off Shen’s fleet in KFP2/fight the Chameleon’s forms? This point isn’t consistent.
4. The Worst Parents Award goes to: Tai Lung’s parents do not need to exist. I find the concept of parents abandoning their kid so that a random stranger can one day become a powerful warrior and eventually save the valley from said child to be nonsensical. Tai Lung’s parents only serve to convolute the story as they don’t contribute to Po and Tai Lung’s arc in an active way. I would say this is what made Shen such an impactful villain. He played an active role in disrupting Po’s inner peace. Saying that Po and Tai Lung’s journeys were “always going to happen” because of Oogway pulling strings seems less rewarding and undermines the work they put in to change.
5. Remember Your Training: Po would understand the importance of teamwork since he just learned to value his family and friends who saved his life when defeating Kai. Plus, he was synergizing well with the Furious Five during the Musician Fight in KFP2. My advice is to have Po train Tai Lung, while Shifu accompanies Li Shan and Mr. Ping. Shifu should’ve been reluctant to let Po go off with Tai Lung because of his guilt for failing Tai Lung. This can be an incentive for him to join Po’s dads and find them.
6. On Second Thought, F Zhen: Zhen never existed. This movie is about Po and Tai Lung’s redemption arc. This will streamline the story. The fan service will also feel less fan servicey because it actually has a purpose now.
7. Shifu’s New Purpose: After seeing Tai Lung change, Shifu musters up the courage to be a better dad. This will feel so rewarding because Shifu’s arc will have come full circle. He can parent Tai Lung alongside the Chameleon too.

@@FilmFixer361Mb on that detail. I still feel like they’d ultimately detract from Tai Lung’s story. Shifu stepping back into his life would be a greater and immediate purpose. Shifu can still find purpose in love, but that takes time. Time that will play out across future movies. By incorporating Tai Lung’s parents, the arc with the greatest potential for Shifu is erased.
I would also argue that Tai Lung wasn’t rejected for no reason. Oogway knew that he had darkness in his heart. His drive was impressive, but it was built on pride and ego. Oogway chose Po because Po was selfless and never sought glory. Tai Lung didn’t understand the true importance of the Dragon Warrior, so having him find that out on his own and not through “fate” feels more organic and fulfilling.
My last few nitpicks are that an end credit scene would feel out of place in the KFP franchise. Moreover, it would be weird if Shifu fell in love with the Chameleon when she’s Tai Lung’s mother. This detail also comes out of nowhere. If Tai Lung’s mother was the Chameleon, then how would her backstory make sense? Anyway, that’s all I have to say about that.

This was just an alternate scenario. the chameleon being tai lungs mom, and the chameleon being with shi fu are two separate scenrios. I did this to see what people would like more but everyone keeps thinking the tai lung rewrite is cannon to the rest even tho i said it wasn't in the end

In that case, I think the Tai Lung rewrite is the best version and you could incorporate ideas from the other scenario. So Tai Lung can replace Zhen, Shifu can go with Po's dads, Shifu becomes Tai Lung's dad again, and Shifu can also train and fall in love with the Chameleon. Best of both worlds.

Pure evil villains like Shen or Voldemort can often be the best villains, but miss pushes victim down stairs is not this type of villain.
nope i think there's a lot in sehn's back story i don't think that's it, i think that they just didn't give us the whole context of his story because why shen go to his parents after finding the success it could be that his parents weren't much active in his life because of their politics or something and maybe shen just wanted their affection but didn't knew how to as his parents/ guardian were absent throughout his whole life

Shen was a Flawed individual not evil, he's a person who did evil things, his influence was his parent's rejecting him due to the actions of trying to avoid something he couldn't control, Destiny or atleast in pursuit of avoiding it he is bound by it.
it's the same as Tai lung where because he let expectations of his master control him to the point were he felt like he was nothing if he wasn't the dragon warrior.
Shen is person who did bad things for bad reasons, because of those reasons thats what makes him intersting and this video is simplifying ALOT of nuance with it's wording.
Shen is a person that did alot bad due to his own Fear of the future, trying to take of control of something he couldn't.

I also want to say I appreciate the editing, you’re a natural 😂. As much as I love your take on what The Chameleon’s backstory could have been, I can’t help but think of seeing it another way. If they were up to me, I would want to delve deeper into general Kai and master Oogway’s past. We know how they fought side-by-side and weren’t exactly the nicest people at the time, perhaps that army, we saw them fighting in the Flashback of kung fu panda three was the Juniper City empire. Led by The Chameleons parents, ultimately Oogway and General Kai end up killing The Chameleon’s parents, but at the cost of Oogway’s physical health, as seen in KFP3. We could also say that The Chameleons parents we’re trying to stop Oogway’s and General Kai’s tyrannical conquest by waging war on the two. Word finally spreads back home and The Chameleons finds out that her parents had been killed by Oogway and General Kai, she then goes to city to city, town to town in search of a Kung fu master who will teach her their ways. We could take The Chameleon being to small into this version by saying, people at the time didn’t think small creatures coukd ,earn Kung fu. Therefore she was denied entry by all kung fu establishments, she then turns to sorcery, after mastering sorcery she is given the ability to shape shift, and live long after her time is due. Since she found a short cut with sorcery. She wanted to find a short cut on Kung fu. So she learned how to take the king fu of others. Years and years of waiting for master villians like Kai to arise she hears word of tai lung, Shen and the returned Kai, and she wishes to take their Kung fu, to destroy Kai and Oogway and all whom are associated with them.
She wishes to become the most powerful villain Oogway coukd ever face.

Tai Lung is taught streangth of body, as he never needed to be the dragon warrior to matter to be great, as there is no secret ingredient it's just you.
Shen is Taught to more value the things he can never change, using the fact he came back as a dilema it was both a change of fate yet the fate still occur, resulting in his confusion which Po would come to well better show what he mean in their Battle.
Kai would first get better development as a character on his reasons for caring so much about power, which Lets take my concept and he'd taught to value those around him, to not be defined by one label He can be Whoever he chooses to be, Powerful or not.
kawari(chameleon is too generic) being Taught the lesson of Achieving past your limits, as she doesn't need the the traits and magic to become her own Dragon warrior, She can make the most of what she can control despite her own limits.
It would most likely lead to final bout being more impactful with all the prevoius villains coming to assist PO against Chameloun with their own reasons, Tai lung in appreciation and redemption, Shen Wanting to see were destiny might take him next, kai for rivalary, He's only one that gets to beat the Dragon warrior and wants to see how even further he can how much more he can learn.
Kawari using all their powers against them, overcoming them in well her intellegience and stragegy, while they overcome her in team singery.
In the end Po comes bring her to his now Dojo, passing down the title to his next student which he intently believed it would've and should've been tigress as result of her strong resolve, Good heart and learning the value of Differences, In a scene reflecting Po's own journey kawari goes to his Step Father's shop to eat their new SPICY noodles, which she takes and it blows her rocket mouth all the way down into po's pointing finger, that was intently pointing at tigress.
Tigress give smirk and jokely asks, "are poitning at me master?"
Po smiles, "No the little flaming rocket that just fell infront of you."
Kawari recovers and stares. "whats with the fing-oh right the cermony, My apologies"

How about The Chameleon suffered from an illness that prevented her from becoming a Kung Fu master - and so, she turned to magic to steal the powers of masters to become the strongest warrior alive (but never truly gets over her illness; which is why she continues to steal so many). The Chameleon eventually hires Zhen to steal Po's staff - which she does, but is confronted by Shifu and is forced to take him as well. The Chameleon opens the Spirit Realm to summon Kung Fu masters and steal their powers...but Tai Lung escapes. Po struggles to choose the right candidate, but then Tai Lung reveals The Chameleon's plan. They head to Juniper City to take down the Chameleon. On their way, Tai Lung and Po train and begin to learn from each other - but the Furious Five still have trouble trusting Tai Lung. Once there, they meet up with Zhen, who agrees to help them…for a price. They head to the Chameleon's lair, but Zhen betrays them and the Chameleon steals their Kung Fu (minus Po, Tigress and Tai Lung who narrowly escape). Po and Tai Lung get into a duel after Po loses his confidence, but Tai Lung encourages him. Zhen realizes her mistakes and helps Po convince the Den of Thieves to stop the Chameleon.
As the villagers battle the Chameleon's army, Po, Tigress and Tai Lung try to fight the Chameleon but get overwhelmed when the Chameleon turns into a horrifying Chimaera. The Chameleon then steals their powers, and soon overpowers them. Po gives Tigress his staff, with which she summons a majestic dragon of Yin and Yang, which defeats the Chameleon; and PO uses the staff to return all of the stolen kung fu skills to their owners, who return to the Spirit Realm. Shen and Kai take the Chameleon with them. As Tai Lung departs, Po closes the portal; allowing Tai Lung to stay and further redeem himself. Tai Lung gives his respect to Po and finally acknowledges him as the true Dragon Warrior. Zhen is also given the new role of leader to the Den of Thieves. Back at the Valley, Tai Lung reunites with Shifu, expressing that he will wait as long as it takes to be forgiven…before having a cup of warm tea with his old master. Po finally chooses Tigress as his successor. And so, Po and Tai Lung help train Tigress to become the next Dragon Warrior.
This is just the version I'd go with if the people were trying to go for a female successor - 'cause Tigress would obviously be the right choice. But to be honest, Tai Lung would still be my prefered choice.
I’d agree with u except on my successor part. I don’t think Po should have to pass it on. And I also think tail lung and Shifu should have some heartfelt moments and Shifu and tigress since the two obvi scarred from childhood

Not sure I like the idea of Master Shifu and the Chameleon making up with each other and having kids. Sounds weird to me. Also while I find the Chameleon being Tai Lung’s mom a charming thought, I still find it weird as well.
The reason why I find it charming though is because it gives her a purpose to be in favor of helping him complete his quest and goals compared with her selfish attitude to Po and the other villains we got in KFP4 without giving them a second chance despite her wicked nature, another thing about her character that fell flat for me apart from her bleak origin story. Also, she needs a name too. Your rewrite still needs to give her character a proper name.

I remember a animation about the chameleon was born in a royal family similar to lord Shen and the had all learned about Kung fu however the chameleon was the only one who wasn’t able to be as strong as her siblings and thus she tried to learn Sorcery instead but her parents specifically her father told her that sorcery was not allowed in her family so she was given an option ether stop learning sorcery or continue learning sorcery and leave her family she had choose her path because of that I think it would fit in more to the spiritual leader role for po that he needs to be a good teacher for zhen(the fox girl) just like shifu it would make a interesting story as well as the chameleon origin story could add more elements from the three king fu panda villains that would be cool so yeah
Okay, The Tai Lung ending to be the Dragon Warrior is actually the best ending that I can imagine. Instead of Zhen, Tai Lung actually deserve more.
I agree. But I think he would have to wait his turn first if Po brings him home because he still owes community service to the valley for his past crimes, so I think Po should go with Tigress instead for the meantime after reuniting Shifu with Tai Lung again in which they both regain back each other's trust. It would make sense as Tai Lunng also needs to gain the valley's trust if he is to become the next hero so that he is praised and not feared. Then later when her turn ends and Tai Lung has been cleared off all charges including his prison sentence, then I guess he can be chosen as the next Dragon Warrior placing his nephew Peng next in line. Another thought I had was after his turn ends and Peng gets chosen giving Tai Lung someone to pass his legacy onto, maybe Peng trains Po's fox friend Zhen to become his next successor, thus training new generations of students. It sounds like it could work.

the opening the chameleon shape shift into tai lung shen & kai to scare the minors
the Chameleon backstory. Change the motivation to a genuine but twisted fascination with kung fu, and her absorption of others’ abilities be her “easy way” of skipping all the way to master. This way we have a clear relationship to Po: she is a dark reflection of the fan he was before being picked by Oogway, but instead of having a great destiny to fulfill and good teachers and father figures to look up to, all she had was a perverse ability she may even had hated about herself until she was desperate, maybe living in poverty and alone. This would make Po question if he would have been the same as her had their roles been reversed, realize the importance of his support system, and strengthen the message of teaching the “right way” to future generations.

all the masters got out of the cages & attack the lizard army the chamileon after that tai lung shen & kai & shifu and oogway talk to po zhen & the furies 5 that they made up and change the and change ther was then po using the staff to open a portal to the spirit realm to sent the dead ones back. tai lung grabs the chamileon to the spirit realm.
back to the valley of peace zhen thought she going back to prison but in steed po take her to Pool of Sacred Tears the birth place of kung fu. po what zhen to be the new dragon warrior she accept he's offer then the training montage starts THE END.

ok here's a flaw, 24:50 " how the turns have tabled " and, you said the chameleon turned into Po, how come she not know who Po is and turn into Po ? and idt the chameleon wanting to learn kungfu afterwards is the most plausible thing as sorcery already filled in the void of kungfu in her life. plus I think the ending with ShiFu and The Chameleon does not make any sense.

I think In the alternative ending with Tai Lung it would be cool if the chameleon disguised herself as Tai Lung and attack a few places (kinda like what she did in the movie) after tai lung fights her and escapes so it seems like he could have chose to be bad again before we see him go to po and explain how he didn’t do it (and then have that police chase scene but with po and Tai Lung and not po and zhen) while they discover important masters have been influenced to follow the chameleons orders because she transforms into like some king or maybe important figure and either scares them or they think she’s actually someone important
Or we just learn about her powers later so it’s this moment where we find out she’s been following them the whole time disguised as background characters we see in the city (tbh this doesn’t make sense but i think it could be cool if done correctly)
Maybe she doesn’t become any of the other masters during the fight because she chooses to try and get Tai lung first but it doesn’t work and fuels her anger and motivation since “I had an army but Tai lung still beat me with his powerful kung fu” or something like that and makes her jealous

Honestly I would change it a bit.
1. At the start we should get backstory and have her age around the time shifu trained tai lung, the bandits constantly robbing her made the chameleon hope for a champion. Soon she hears of a new student being trained at the jade palace. And eventually even sending tai king off for missions to protect China. She keeps hoping until one day tai lung actually does help her putting her full faith in him of course until she hears that her hero betrayed the valley and attacked the people. This then caused the bandits to come back and likely caused a lot of chaos throughout the valley since tai king was the only member actively protecting the valley. Feeling betrayed by her hero she then seeks out a way to train herself but is shut down by everyone not because of her size but because of her drive we will change it to her wanting revenge against the bandits which goes against the code you are not supposed to go and pick fights with people just because you know they are bad it is only to protect the innocents. So feeling even more betrayed she wonders home after her travels and stumbles across some witch hut place “idk trying to find an excuse for magic since there are literally no characters who have this” and she sees the lady performing magic, getting an idea she begs the witch to teach her and she eventually does. The witch teaches her good magic from a book that is basically for defense only and doesn’t really harm people, the chameleon at this point is fine with this but is bothered she cannot learn from the forbidden section of the book. After this the chameleon forms a close bond to the witch and goes home to visit family, unfortunately she is confronted by the bandits again and while she is strong her magic can do nothing agains the bandits and she is defeated. She returns to the witch and bags her to teach her the forbidden magic but refuses and causes the witch to have to make her leave. Like Kai feeling betrayed by her closest friend comes back in the dead of night and steals the book, but is confronted by the witch who is then defeated by the chameleon using the forbidden magic and steals her magic. This then leads the chameleon down the path of being power hungry absorbing the powers of everyone who wronged her or she deems evil. She saves other lizards throughout the valley and this is why she has the army of lizards they feel in debt to her since she saved them. Soon she hears of the new dragon warrior and his battles with tai lung, kai, and shen as well as many others. She however does not like this since the last time she put her faith in a so called “dragon worrior” it ended in disaster. She wonders how she will be able to defeat him however since she knows at this point her magic isn’t strong enough. Until she hears about Po returning from the spirit world using his mystical staff, she knows if she can get that staff she likely will be able to congregate hundreds of evil warriors from beyond the grave so that she can absorb their power and become strong enough to defeat Po and bring true peace to the valley. She then gets the staff and like before summons all of those before, until she thinks of tai lung, when she brings him back she speaks to him and ask him “do you remember me? How you saved me all those years ago? Yes, you do, and I put my faith in you to protect me in my family and what did that get me? NOTHING!” And they battle Kai is shaken by this because he hasn’t thought about how his choice effected the people he saved since before he was blinded by rage but this Kai has had time to heal in peace knowing that he was defeated and there was nothing he could do anymore. This causes the slightest opening and she takes it to steal his powers.
2. Po and his friend as they travel begin to notice people that have fighting capabilities beyond that of a normal person and like how oogway picked the furious 5, poo goes on a similar path finding his own new furious 5. With the fox girl basically becoming the leader like Tigres was.
3. The reason the furious 5 where not in the story was because like po they all became masters. And since po was strong enough to handle himself and the valley they left to protect other valleys across China. This is why they needed a new furious 5 since while po might be strong he still is having issues keeping the valley 100% safe without exhausting himself.
4. After po and his new team defeat the chameleon he notices tai lung and vice versa, he sees how much he has changed and as his final act as dragon worrior offers tai king the position. Tai lung stops and thinks about everything that has happened in his life, and thinks back to the moment he and po fought and po told him “there is no secret ingredient, it’s just you” and tai lung gets shaken, for the first time he thinks about what he truly wants and he tells po, “no, not right now at least. I’m… not ready for a responsibility that big after everything I did… po then walks up to him and tells him that is the same way he felt, the burden at the start was almost more than he could handle at times. But I have walked that path and if you’d like I can walk you through it, tai lung shaken by this bows to po, while the other villians just roll thier eyes and ask “not to ruin the moment but can you send us back we are tired of looking at you” as po apologizes and lets them go “it’s much better than how they all bowed because they 100% would not do this”.
5. We then see Po and tai lung at the ceremony to announce to the public the new dragon warrior, shifu and everyone is there and shifu looks at kai after everything and tells him the same thing from the first movie “I’ve always been proud of you” as Po tells tai lung to come out and announces that he is the new dragon warrior the people although kinda off put since they remember what he did all those years ago begin to come around as tai lung bows and tells everyone how sorry he is and that he will work every day to fix what he did all those years ago, tai lung gets nervous thinking that they still won’t accept him but he hears a clap, and then another, until the entire crowd erupts in cheer and he stands up and smiles as the movie ends.

he wanted Shifu to be proud of him, he built his entire life around that goal and suddenly it's taken from him, that betrayal of what seemed to be owed to him, his Destiny just no longer.
Further destroyed by Shifu refusing to defend him, Defend his student, Defend his prodigy, Defend his Son.
So it let to him Commiting evil, But he isn't evil, never was, just choose to commit his lack of meeting his expectations by chasing an endless starcase, which let to fall down after another found the will form within.

The Future Is Kung' Fu Wolf' 5 Movie
I got three ideas while watching this:
1. An interaction, in the cameleons prison scene, between the main villains from the different kung fu panda movies would be awesome, even just a small one
2. Po should learn even more magical skills, or at least just one
3. The fight scene between the cameleon and po should have more supernatural aspects, since it felt unsatisfying to watch Po and the cameleon fight in a normal world after Pos fight with Kai

I wish the furious five would’ve had a large roll for this fourth film because I don’t like dismissing fan favorites or valuable characters celebrities. Like only Tigress would be the one to convince Po to choose his new dragon warrior.
I understand. The reason they were left absent from the fourth movie however is because the filmmakers and animation crew wanted to keep the budget low but could not afford hiring the original voice cast to reprise their roles as the five. Still I'm glad they made a last appearance at the end of the movie during the closing credits.

As Po and his friends return to the Valley of Peace, they are greeted as heroes once again. But amidst the celebrations, Po begins to realize that his journey has not only changed him, but also changed the course of his friends' lives.
Shifu reveals that Master Oogway's true legacy is not just about his wisdom and teachings, but about the impact he had on those who followed him. He tells Po that he has been searching for a way to restore balance to the Valley of Peace, and that Po's journey has given him the key to unlocking the secrets of the ancient kung fu masters.
Part 4: The New Era
As Po passes on the mantle of leadership to Ling, he knows that she will carry on his legacy and continue to protect the Valley of Peace. But as he watches her take her first steps as a leader, he realizes that he has one more task to complete.
Po must find a worthy successor to take his place as the Dragon Warrior. He knows that it won't be easy, but he is determined to find the next great warrior.
After many trials and tribulations, Po finally discovers a worthy successor to take his place as the Dragon Warrior. Her name is Meiying, a young and fiery kung fu master who is determined to make a difference in the Valley of Peace.
Meiying is everything that Po was when he was younger - bold, fearless, and full of energy. Po knows that she is the perfect candidate to take his place as the Dragon Warrior, and he is proud to pass on his mantle of leadership to her.
As Meiying takes her place as the new Dragon Warrior, Po knows that a new era has begun. He knows that she will face challenges and obstacles that he never could have imagined, but he also knows that she will rise to meet them.
And so, Po watches as Meiying sets out on her own journey, knowing that she will carry on his legacy and continue to protect the Valley of Peace. He knows that she will make mistakes and face setbacks, but he also knows that she will learn from them and grow stronger.
And so, Po smiles, knowing that he has passed on his wisdom, his experience, and his mantle of leadership to the next generation. He knows that they will carry on his legacy and continue to protect the Valley of Peace long after he is gone.

but i say it would be better if tai lung's parents didn't abandon him, but protect him by shen because he didn't only target panda's but all the black and white animals so tai lung's parent's have to protect him so they thought 'there's only one place he can be protected and learn how to protect himself , jade palace' so they put him there and go but in the end of the movie he found out there's whole village of snow leopard's so he say his sorry to everyone and to the village
