I heard somewhere that Magnus once played games against a bunch of Harvard lawyers. Obviously, he won every game, but when they were done, one of the lawyers said he wished he had written down the moves so he could show his family at home. Well! Magnus asked if he wanted him to write them down. After hearing that, the other lawyers asked as well, and he was able to write all of the games down from memory. Is that not completely insane?
@@gabriel62 he is insane but what's more intriguing that he once was watching a game being played by standing on sideline and he remembered the whole game like wtf man it was not even your own game!!! Mind boggling genius
What a dep analyse. And then after the game Magnus said, he was disappointed, because he didn't see a faster way to finish it. So you can learn from him: Be never satisfied. Go for getting better and better. Every time, every single game.

I was thinking just that, but I found it. Rg7 to g2, blocks check and discover check with the bishop on e5. he blocks with his bishop and then same sequence as the game, discover check and bishop takes rook on d8
There would have been a checkmate. Black bC3 can take the white rG7, but then the white rG2 would end it when moved up to rG7 after exchange because of white bE5. Black bE6 can force the check moving to bD5, but then white rG7 would defend down to rG2, which opens the checkmate regardless. Any other move will be too slow because white rG7 will be placed on rG8 and force another checkmate. That is why Sagar mentioned that Nodirbek blundered by not defending the black pB2 with his other rook on E1. Hopefully, that will explain everything
I love watching this channel, but i always have to turn off sound, cause the indian accent reminds me of the famous video of "samir you are breaking the car" and i start to laugh.
Black player, why not he moves : bishop to e4, that's a check. White player must move rook to save the king at g2. Black player, should take this rock. White player, should take this bishop. game equals
Fischer would have been laugh at magnus he played the idea very poorly in my opinion but he could have done much better in classical game for sure not enough time for concrete plan and calculation.
Sagar is such a brilliant commentator. Perfectly understandable english, dynamic, informative, profesional.... 10 out of 10 my friend.
He's the goat
that´s right
Yeah:-)
He makes it exciting
But a trash player yes
It's mind boggling how they remember all these moves and moves that happened in the 1980s. These people are a bunch of geniuses!
I mean that Fischer's game is total classic and very well known if you play hedgehog setup. Would be very strange for them to not know this.
I see, lol I don't know a lot about chess so I was wowed by it.
@@michamotyka648 Magnus is still a genius though...

Magnus using Fisher's attack , genious. Only the number one do this.
nice respect of mc for na

I like magnus face after a win. Like he is in pain discussing it.
😂Dude's in pain
There is a reason why he is GOAT
Commentary is legendary 👌

Magnus's trademark headshake "oh, this could've gone either way man (...no it wouldn't've)" -expression at the end is just the cherry on top.

Best commentators
Will we have an opportunity to watch a bit of Dubov and Nepo in the nearest future?
Awesome game ! The throw back on robert fisher game was a very nice touch!
Magnus is crazy 🔥
On the final position the beauty is on ...be4+R7g2+ discover check!!bg7 BxB+Kg8 Bf6+ Bxg2 Rxg2+ etc
9:05 what if black doing bishop e4 check?
I was thinking just that, but I found it. Rg7 to g2, blocks check and discover check with the bishop on e5. he blocks with his bishop and then same sequence as the game, discover check and bishop takes rook on d8
Sagar smashed it with the com ngl
So funny how Sagar superimposes him interviewing Magnus at the end.😄
The black can take the rook with the bishop on e4 who makes the pawn put up and is another check who make the rook defending the king
Yes Sagar commentating, I'm back to watching this channel
Thanks for your comments, Sagar! Really great game.
Our Nodirbek Abdusattrov ❤️❤️🤲🏻👆
what a game.. and brilliant comment
Best commentary in the history of sports ❤
So you have analyzed them all?

Welcome back Sagar 👍
Why you missing from channel?
Any way nice come back with best video and analysis.💐🙏❤️
Goat 🐐 for a reason ❣️🌝
I only watch the videos with Sagar's commentary... XD
I am sorry I was not able to figure out but can someone please explain why Nodirbek resigned? Was there any mate ????
There would have been a checkmate. Black bC3 can take the white rG7, but then the white rG2 would end it when moved up to rG7 after exchange because of white bE5.

He loses significant materials which is irreparable.
9:02 bishop e4 check then rook d1 isnt check mate for black and win ??
when white defends the check with his rook it reveals a check on black from the bishop
Why couldn't Nodirbek go Bishop E4. Gives check and the only way to defend the check is to bring a rook in between.
rG7 would go to rG2 to block, thus opening the checkmate
Good job, Magnus Carlsen, I love your game, from Israel, yeah, chess is my favourite hobby, good luck, Magnus Carlsen.🇮🇱😍🇧🇻
nice job
Apa yang ada di dalam otak magnus, membuatnya sangat jenius.. luar biasa magnus👍👍👍
Its Magnus favorite the Hedgehog 🦾
It’s the little talks after for me😊
Brilliant
Magnus: GOAT🔥
Excellent commentary
Was this game after the one where Nordibek beat Magnus or before?
Why does not black give a check with light square bishop at the end?
Yes
Эки хот Магнус Карлсон мат эле Надырбек корбой калды пил менен турду иштетиш керек эле😮😮😮
They better keep Sagar
In near time Sindarov ( Uzbekistan) will win Magnus and will be champion
Did anyone catch what they discussed after the match ?
amazing commentary
Great game.
Amazing commentor
Sagar your commentary is the best, keep it up!
I have a question
After Rxg7,why was Be4+ not possible
He will bring the rook back to block the check and it will be a discover check for balck king and checkmate
But in this game, the light bishop could have checked and then the black bishop takes the rook
Ya.
The rook on g7 blocks the check with its own discovery winning the game
Frankly, these moving players ruin the sweet music of the comments.
I love watching this channel, but i always have to turn off sound, cause the indian accent reminds me of the famous video of "samir you are breaking the car" and i start to laugh.
I mute the video too. Here to watch the game.
At this position , y didn't nodirbek
Played be4? 9:21
Nice one.
Anyone can explain why black take Nf7 with queen?
If you knew what the best idea is you would be sitting there playing not commenting on their gameplay
He is using engine...don't be fool...
carlsern is the world rapid and blitz champion, last year it was abdustrov
Why not bishop e4 check?
R7g2#!
@@pakchu2 what does that mean? I dont know how to read chess moves
Black, Why Not gave Bishop's Cheque in end
9:26 why not be4+ ? because he has to cover with rook
Then rg7 to rg2 defends and gives discovered check
Kenapa magnus selalu membawa minuman...
why not g8 in the end?
He want also give a check to magnuss with bishop
The real GOAT MAGNUS CARLSEN
The narrator makes the game sound like a horse race
The female players are like they are watching God of chess ❤❤when Carlsen goes to speak with Dubov
Black player, why not he moves :
bishop to e4, that's a check.
White player must move rook to save the king at g2.
Black player, should take this rock.
White player, should take this bishop.
game equals
black bishop D3-> E4 and black wins a rook
Magnus Carlsen win
Too hard. It comes back to square one. Checkmate
Here's a fun fact: There are two credit cards for every person in the United States.
cool
That indian accent 😅
I bet the commentor would beat Carlson
All i see is someone memorizing an opening… this is not even chess….
I love Indian accent
👍
❤
Idooooolllllll magnus. Paliwati ko behhh
Louder please,
Your accent kills me I just wanna quite watching chess all together
Can't believe Dubov is still wearing Balenciaga so proudly 🤮🤮🤮🧸
