Whether you're looking to improve your chess game or just enjoy watching a master at work, this analysis is a must-see!
The casual calculation is outrageous!
Seems unreal that he's 6-8 ply deep in his analysis less than a second in. And after about one more second he's intuiting a couple of variations. But that's what's possible with an eidetic memory.
When Magnus says “that’s interesting” you know the opponent messed up
That was true of Kasparov as well.
makes it look so easy...
the crispy +1 for the win lol
Haahahhaah
“He’s clearly worse” well yeah
Love when guys like Hikaru and Magnus show their strength against lower rated players in exchange games
By the time I understand one move he's calculated 2 variations 10 moves deep each 💀😭😭
He’s actually calculated more variations than that..
@@astronemir I believe it lol That's just by the time I understand one move 😂 And whether I understand it correctly would still be in question 😭💀
Meanwhile me:- what tf is happening here
Magnus has tremendous evaluation skills and that's largely developed after a zillion blitz games. There's little time to pick a position apart in detail, so one has to judge more wholistically. How good was White's Ne5 and Black's Re8? How good was White's Qh4 and Black's ...Qe6? These are the same kinds of comparisons Kasparov discussed. He called it "quality of the pieces".
I don’t understand how did he “destroy “ his opponent. The opponent put up a good fight no ?
Clickbait
@Chess Dropout You're not breaking down, or analyzing anything, it's Magnus who's doing it, and you've probably stolen this video from his channel, so don't try to take the credit, you literally haven't done ANYTHING here
yep, channels like these need to get something stuck in between their teeth that they cant get out for a few hours
People repost stuff alot. And on this scale? It doesn't matter.
Destroy? Pretty clickbait i would say if that is a regular game and his opponent isnt in time trouble he might have lost this… kinda clickbait
Why would he lose this? He was winning all along. Did you miss the part where Magnus checked with the engine and white was better after the exchange sac?
you are talking as if time control is not a part of the game , plus computer analysis gave an advantage to white
@@anvikloitongbam5980 thats all fine guys - but destroying someone looks completely different. was a normal game where the odds werent in magnus favour - he won all good but that is nowhere near destroying someone
@@thevoid5868"where the odds werent in Magnus favor" lmao, what? Have you seen the position the game ended in? The only move for black to stop immediate checkmate here is sacrificing your queen for a bishop, everything else loses on the spot. Even if you do that, with the positioning of the knight and the queen after it’s likely mate in a couple moves later. He was definitely crushing him at the end, whether that was due to time trouble or not.
You sound foolish man, just shut up
Offering magnus a draw is wild. lol
This Magnus guy seems pretty good at chess. He should go on a tournament or something.
Where's the destroy? It was equal until the end..
Wdym equal? That final position was immensely winning for white.
Both of you are right. Black could have done way better in the endgame. Actually it was dead even. But Black got in time trouble and messed up. In the whole game Black actually dominated. Only the end was shakey. My quess is Black used a bot.
@@lazydog5065 When you name your video "how to crush ... Opening" it is supposed to show real domination over the opponent right after the first few moves. Not winning at the endgame in opponents time scramble
I agree this was clickbait
Am I the only one who hears his stomach XD.
Yeah, I wouldn’t have been dreaming of that middle game.
Best player to ever exist. Un matched consistency. But there is one player lurking in the shadow...
Where is Carlsen, Norway? What is his view from the other room?
I didn't understood the move NxC5
At 4:18
It is not destroying the caro-Kann. It is better playing the middle of the game. Magnus is one of the best player ever (with capablanca, Karpov, Kasparov, Alekhine or Fischer of course). It is not surprising that he plays more creative game that any of his today's opponent. It has nothing to do with the caro-kann.
Why dont i know who any of these people are?🤷🤣🤣🤣 He opens up with that
What kids have to say about the video…..
Once you memorize every possible move this is easy work
Where is he streaming?
Why is it that I csnn never find his live streams? Or this from years ago? The one people telling me about on twitch (maskenisen) or something is never streaming or at least the last video dates from 3 years back.
can someone explain why Kf8 doesn't work at the end?
Qh6+ leads to forced mate
I would have lost that with white 799 times out of a possible 799 games.
Это тот самый Витик😅
magnus's stream is a 100 times better then hikaru not going to lie
Probably because he makes unique comments, where Hikaru says the same word twelve times in a row.
Giga Master Magnus Carlsen
Wtf was this pawn moviment??? 0:13 Can someone explain to me?
He premoved and took the pawn
can see 7 moves ahead. jeez i can only do 3 or 4 tops maybe
It's so annoying. Magnus plays it off as if he could read a book on the side. Which is probably true. GOAT!
Why doesn’t the explain his moves at all
Plays with 3 minute time control
Robinhood steals their investors money. They owe me $500 from their two "platform freezes" in 2020. They likely owe 12 million other investors money as well.
Not exactly destroyed
Dishonest title for the video
destroy?
he didn't destroy it
his opponent played very well but didn't have much time against the best player in the world
Black used a bot and started playing by him self when he got in time trouble. The new normal of playing.
using a bot in an opening like the carro seems unlikely since it takes forever to become better at their level in the opening. something more aggressive would have made more sense
I was hoping Carlsen would employ the Tal line (e4 c6 d4 d5 e5 Bf5 h5....).
Only he can win in it anytime❤
@@Cause_aakash Yeah, but it woulda been interesting if he employed that Tal line...I've got the chessable course on that line...Works like a charm 👌
