He has the cutest laugh and the greatest smile. He has always been very charming and charismatic. I’m thankful he found love and fulfillment in becoming a dad. Having Eric to love and dote on has really brought out his heart and warmth. I’m very happy for him.

The thing is with Simon Cowell when he started on TV about 20 years ago, people simply mistook his honesty for cruelty. He has a great eye and ear for picking out raw talent, he can spot it within 10-20 seconds of watching someone. That’s a very rare gift to have.

HE thought he was so good that, he sold everything he had and went off to Broadway, Crushing false dreams can be a KINDNESS.
You'd be surprised how hard it can be to tell someone who is convinced that they are talented, that they aren't. They will refuse to hear it. Also every time I've heard him "Trash" someone, he was actually telling them exactly what was wrong with their performance, without any sugar coating.

Simon Cowell is a genius and a great mentor for young artists. Notice how he always pass on great advice and critique for every competent singer in his shows? That's a sign of him seeing something special. Adam Lambert came in and showed his talent immediately but. unlike the other judges, Simon told him exactly what he needed to do in order to become a complete artist. People mistake that for Simon being mean to people, but he is just behaving like an actual mentor and and teacher to these young people. Great guy who is great at his job
