Nice job wit the flipping man this tuff asl
Only thing i would watch out for is where you get your samples from (if you plan on line commercially releasing your beats for money an shi) since they can ask for some crazy ass royalties if they are evil like that, not everyone does that but im jus saying be careful
this is mesmerizing
appreciate it !

how did u get the song from the website?
you can't i just used the song info they provide and downloaded it myself theres a few ways you can just google it i didnt want to get in trouble on here so i didnt show that part i hope i didnt mislead anyone
How do you rip the songs off the website?
google it bro look up audacity
A modern day wizard im thankful i found your channel!! What version of serato is that?
thanks! it's serato sample 2.0
loved the vid! Think you could drop a tutorial on baselines? Mine always sound crap😂
sure i will no worries !
how do you download from that website
you can't sorry bro they tell you the song info you can extend the player and all the info is in there then i just search it and download it on my own
why did you change the bpm to 85 from 70.71 during drums?
that's how i flip samples cant really rap at 70 bpm
When you are flipping the sample, are you playing random chops? or do you remember every chop and just play with them
Gotta rehearse them, becomes muscle memory
i play random chops the very first time but sometimes i remember where i put certain chops that stood out to me so i start with those i usually find an initial chop that sounds like a good starter and just freestyle a bunch of shit from there once i find a few that go together i see which ways sound best to flip them into one another
@@batsin9045 exactly
@@RigazziHelps thank you man!
Great work for sure. But don't you still need permission from the copyright holder to do anything commercial with it? This is the bit that always put me off this type of stuff but would love a way around it
thanks, it depends what type of copyright they have on it some original owners allow certain things
Bro looking like the new england version of spell
LOL! you nailed it
I dont even rap and I was tryin to get in my bag! 🔥
that's awesome!
Changing those startpoints by dragging them with your mouse really SUCK. Is that the only way in Serato?
U can press find samples and they’ll chop themselves automatically but i don’t understand what’s wrong with draggin by mouse ? Idk maybe I used to it, somewhere there is a different way ?
@@Keirybeats You are right, maybe I’m used to the rotary encoders of my MPC Live 2. I just remembered I had to do the same thing In Logic Pro for decades but I had an external inputdevice that simulated the mousewheel just like an encoder 🥴
you could hit a note and hold it then when you get to part you want you can just hit the next key on your controller itll assign it to that part but overall you still have to line it up unless you want it loose and off beat
Wtf you’re incredible 🗣️🤯
haha thanks man
Why is there a 2070 button 😂😂😂I’m here for it tho
i know i asked myself the same thing they're way in the future LOL
4:14 "so 70.71", you wrote 71.71. I am still watching, but i don't know what issues this caused or if you caught it later on.
i actually did catch that later but to be honest serato worked with the sample so well it didn't affect anything thankfully
Tony stark cooking samples
hahaha
Problem with cooking chops this way is that in the end every track sound the same. Check for yourself and watch other channels doing the same thing.
never evey producer will flip it differently 😂
What would you recommend doing instead?
no way man every sample is different
Of course it ‘sound’ different but I should have said ‘the style’ sounds the same, especially if you put the samo-samo ‘hip-hop’ beats under it., it’s also that ‘swapping the playing order of the chops’ kind of thing. I own a MPC Live 2 myself and I have a huge collection of vinyl and when I chop, this is what my inner voice says when deciding what to keep or not. It’s very difficult to come up with something fresh each time. I’m no Dilla but I try to keep critical of myself. Guess that’s the art of chopping and creating music in general…
Giving up the radiooooo sauce 🤦🏻♂️😂 nooooooooo!
there's plenty to go around!!! hahahahahaah
you even spelled it right LOL awesome
you skipped so many beautiful samples in the beginning man
skipped in the video yes but i grabbed them all hahaha
incredibly…mid
