Predicting this is tough. I change my mind in my head every time I think of it. At the start of the year I predicted a Sydney premiership so I guess that splits the tie. Gulden or MacInerney for the Norm Smith if Sydney win, Rainer, or Zorko if it is Brisbane. I genuinely don't have a preferred team here. I am just hoping for a good game (and one of my "hail Mary" multibets to come through)

I'm lucky enough that I've seen two GF's live (I'm from Perth too). 2015 - was an absolute shitshow of a game of course, but a very cool experience overall. 2019 - was a shit game (GWS didn't turn up) and the way the Richmond fans carried on kinda ruined the experience. The lead up to the GF in Melbourne is great though, literally the whole city gets behind it and its a real party atmosphere. If West Coast are ever relevant again I'll definitely be back to watch another one.

Brisbane are the betters side off the Data. Theres numerous areas which premiers excel in and Bris are dominant forward half side, best team at defending TO and a big inside 50 differential. Brisbanes issue has been poor goal kicking but i saw a stat when they kick at over 50% accuracy they win. Sydneys issue is 10th at defending TO so they will give Bris chances but Syd are no 1 at scoring off TO. Bris are 3rd at scoring off TO. I just have a gut feel Bris will win with McCluggage Norm Smith but this game could go either way.
I agree about it being awful when your team is involved. I'm a dogs fan, I have little to no memory of 16 or 21. All the extra anxiety and all the extra alcohol to deal with the extra anxiety haha
What do you make of BT's comments about something "pretty emotional and an incredible surprise to everyone in the footy world" that will happen after the grand final? Someone retiring? I wonder what it is.

This will be my first time going to a Grand Final. I was fortunate enough to get tickets through make a wish, and even luckier that the swannies ended up making it to the big dance.
