As a Fremantle supporter, that kills. Top 2 without the close finishes and losses. Hopefully in 2025 we don't close finishes like that, just domination on the scoreboard and bury opponents.
@@Exploringwithwoody Agreed with the Eagles, the opportunity is staring right in front of them. I don't expect them to jump back in the 8 straight away, since they are expected to loss some valuable experience with Darling and Barass requesting trades. But the main goal for them is to improve on their 16th place, 5 win record they obtained this year. Heck, use the WAFL to their advantage to build up their young players, won thing I would love to see is the West Coast Eagles add a WAFL Premiership in their collection alongside their 4 AFL Premierships before they go to that new proposed AFL Reverses competition.
I swear you did thia just to upset me. Not only did it remind me of the final from last Friday that I had almost blocked out of my head, but even when the Hawks finish fourth in the adjusted ladder you have us going out in straight sets. Pain, pain, pain.
This doea highlight the small things in games potentially making huge differences. A missed handball or tackle in the wrong spot at the wrong time can easily make a two goal difference. Small improvements in skills or structure can shoot teams up the ladder very quickly.
As someone who follows Port Adelaide and knows how many close games we won (fun fact we didn't lose ANY close games this year), I knew this list was going to screw us over.
i thought this was a great concept, but instead of mirroring the same margin, i was thinking of subtracting the difference of 6points. ie round 3 original Richmond +5, to Sydney +1, as it can now factor in percentages more accurately (my argument is that, in scenario, the team that originally lost by 5 points or less managed to kick the last goal to put them in front) again love this video, cool concept
Here is a suggestion: BEST AFL COMEBACKS FALLEN SHORT. Rules: > The biggest margin must be at 20 points or more at any stage by the eventual winner. > The final margin must be 6 points or less although it can be up to 12 points if the biggest margin is 40 points or more at one stage.
I realised that when he changed the carlton v Richmond game, the actually marginal was 4 points but he made it so Richmond won by a point but then the next game was saints v Essendon where the bombers won by 4 points and then changed it to saints by 4 points
Geelong's results with the reversal of the games is almost identical. 15 wins, 8 losses and a percentage of 112.2% (with your percentage of 112.5% and 112.4%). Only their ladder position changed!
I would like to see the Ladder if a Team who Lost by 6 Points or less also got 2 Points on the Ladder instead of 0 Points and see how that would have made a Difference to the Final Ladder as it could have been either Team who Won at the Match. . ie If a A Team who Looses by 6 Points or Less multiple times it shows that they are Still good enough to get 2 Points and be higher than those who get 0 Points on the Ladder. That should give the AFL something to think about.
Similar idea to this vid but would make the percentages weird in a close season, what would the ladder look like if the losing side of every game had kicked just 1 more goal?
Good video... another suggestion would be to have a "kick straight" video. Maybe need a bit of work... but say something like 50% of behinds(not rushed behinds) were turned into goals. I doubt it will be a "fun" video for some teams.
Enjoy the 2023 version: ruclips.net/video/dDFNdr2SdGY/видео.html
Hey man thanks for taking my idea into consideration. Appreciate you ❤
Thanks for putting up the idea. Would have meant Essendon got better draft picks.
how do you change the results?
That was a good idea as an Australian very interested with footy❤❤
@@orangeopponent-247 squiggle
Better known as the 'Logan McDonald is a bit more clutch' ladder
Imagine if you did this last year. Would Collingwood have even made the 8?! Surely not.
probably still would of year before on the other hand probs nkt

100 percent
West cost eagles have to be batter

Fantastic concept, crazy to see the swings and roundabouts of a season.
Keep up the awesome work 💙💛🏆🦅

Not straight sets we still beat dogs
I was talking about the finals he did at the end. Sydney beat us in week one then Geelong in week two.

Knew Port would get stiffed, we've been ridiculously good in close games the last few years
@@andrewrogers5962 very true
Apart from 2022, they lost 7 games by 12 points or less, could have played finals or even finished top 4.
As someone who follows Port Adelaide and knows how many close games we won (fun fact we didn't lose ANY close games this year), I knew this list was going to screw us over.
As a port fan I kind of just watched this so I could hear port power won every close game
@@andrewrogers5962 Nah becuse the margin was over a goal.
Missed Adelaide vs Gold Coast 60-54
He fixed it
Bruh imagine commenting before watching the whole video
He forgot
Missed Essendon vs West Coast 77-71
Edit: Nevermind just saw you fix it
and we still get the wooden spoon 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
u tried to change north vs collingwood but ended up keeping it the same
fr

You accidentally madeCollingwood beat north by one point when you went back instead of making north win
and accidentally assumed Geelong would beat Brisbane in a home final.
Coming back to this after the grand final is interesting 😂
Missed Eagles Essendon 71-77
Edit: Nevermind
The funny thing about it is that it could still turn out to be the same Grand Final anyway 😂😂

Mate, you missed quite a few there, including Adelaide in round 1.
Having finished the video, it doesn't matter, we wouldn't have made the 8 anyways 😅😅
if 6pts counts to be reversed you missed Gold Coast v Adelaide in OR and Crows should've finished 8th in the 10pt or less ladder
Another plan you could do was do each team's exspected score (IE the exspected winner), so takes into account accuracy and other stats
knew Collingwood would finish lower but from 9th to 15th damn!
Edit: seems I missed Fremantle going from 10th to 2nd!
Ughh must we re-live the most painful losses?
Interesting to judge form by.
I said at the time that the swans form slump was not as bad as it seemed.

Oh he got it
I love this idea as a video as a saints fan
Can’t believe we beat Collingwood twice
Should do the losing team kicks an extra goal so add six points to their score, more realistic scenario
I hate how often Melbourne lost by next to nothing…
if you prob did the 60 points one north would probably be minor premiers lol
Similar idea to this vid but would make the percentages weird in a close season, what would the ladder look like if the losing side of every game had kicked just 1 more goal?
Interestingly you also missed st Kilda and port in round 7 which was 10 points which reverses those two teams on the ladder.
Literally missed adelaide vs gold Coast road one 😂😂
Nah stkilda are just chockers of close results (im saying this as a saints fan)
Good video... another suggestion would be to have a "kick straight" video. Maybe need a bit of work... but say something like 50% of behinds(not rushed behinds) were turned into goals. I doubt it will be a "fun" video for some teams.
video idea: redo the afl ladder if each game was played at each teams current skill level
Might want to change the winner of the Geelong Brisbane final
When you did Collingwood v north you did Collingwood by a point again
Wow Fremantle just missing the X factor then they could be seriously good
You missed North vs Collingwood
Ik that pissed me off
7:35 Adelaide chrows?😂
Now do over 50 points, and make scores opposite, EG port 36-148 Sydney.
Amazing idea
I think you missed a WC v ES 6 point difference.
goes to show how bad Collingwood actually are
Nah I’m a west coast fan you did me dirty
Can show us how to change results
Should have done 5 and 11 and made 6 and then 12 point games draws, I.e. one or two kicks
you missed north vs collingwood... twice
Collingwood vs north Melbourne??
Missed West Coast vs Essendon
Did he miss north and calling wood?
Missed best game of the seson collingwood vs north melbourne 118-119
You missed west coast 71 to Essendon 77
I thought this video would show up how rubbish Essendon were this year but it seems little change at all.
Geelong Brisbane, we'll go the Cats..
WRONG.
Gold coast beat Adelaide by 6 points round one and Adelaide Essendon 3 points. I think you missed those ones
At the 4 minute mark you missed Essendon v WC
Edit: then you picked up onnit at the 6 minute mark👍
missed north vs collingwood 118-119
It’s actually close Brisbane v swans
What if every game was reversed?
you missed essendon def wc 6 points in their first meeting
just saw you fix it
Do 2024 grand final that was close 😂😂😂😂😂
You missed ess wce
Blues make the 8 both times 💙💙
Geelong lost so I’m glad he got that wrong
missed essendon beat west coast 77-71
Geelong vs Brisbane u would go the cats😂😂😂 did u not see the prelim
Up the tigs
It just highlights that the Swans have been head and shoulders above the competition during the H&A season.
this is not so great for collingwood 😕
Missed eagles 71-77 Essendon
Missed the Roo's and the pies and also did optus pull out of the sponsorship for the oval in WA, Perth stadium instead of optus
are u tryna kill freo fans with this haha
Ok, next video, teams losing every game of the season, because nobody (including God) likes them. That would be Collingwood, Richmond and Adelaide.
LIONS BEAT GEELONG🥳🥳
U missed some if you are going to do something do it properly
💙🤍
What's the point ? They didn't, so it's pointless dribble
Mate your video's are so wishy washy. You missed several games on the 6 point differential tally and done it again on the 10 pointer too.
This is a true waste of time.
11:46 you made Collingwood win?
The biggest single one was if Port hadn't kicked 2 goals in 13 seconds vs Hawks, Hawks would've finished 2nd.
West 4:21 coast essedon
you missed adl gcs rnd 1
