Good as far as it goes but noone talks about why different rigidity seats are used and how relevant to chassis tuning they and the way they are mounted are.
R Greenup rigidity of seat is no different than chassis support bars... the more rigid your seat, the more it’ll contribute to chassis rigidity. The more or less rigid your chassis and setup, the more or less flex your kart will have under corner load, which could lead to more or less grip depending on the trackside conditions and how your weight distribution is affecting the tire capability, which is also dependent on your tire type. The seat rigidity will allow the weight of the driver to shift more as well, so depending on the height and weight distribution of the driver, can contribute to the grip condition.
I really like they way this guy tells and show basic tips in karting. I understand that he is moubting a tillett T11 seat for DD2 chassis. Is he using a T11t, VG or VTI? :)

It brought a tear to my eye when he said it’s a really easy job. It’s my least favourite job on the kart, especially as my son is growing so fast.

You said that we can remount the seat. How ?
You cover the holes and make new ones ?

You can get removable seat mounts that attach to your chassis. You need two
why only one seat-axle support ? engine side is not needed ?
Anyone know the measurements he was taking?
Thanks
