Hey man can you answer this for me please, do these cameras sense vehicles motion and record? I had old wired cameras with dvr for years. Then i bought several blink cameras that constantly burned through costly Energizer AA lithium batteries quite often and they would capture any motion, be it clouds shadow moving along the ground. Leaf falling, people, cars, squirrels, but again it became too costly constantly having to buy new batteries for them all.
So next i ventured into rebluum ptz similar to these you featured. And they're fully self contained with solar panel and only a handful of times have sensed motion that wasn't anyone or anything. They do great at capturing any person within 20 feet of them. But they don't pick up cars. And for me that's one of the biggest issues these newer cameras all seem to be AI generated and seek out heat human motion and not much of anything else. I placed my cameras so if a vehicle entered the property i would be able to capture it along with their tag number and now these newer cameras im unable to. So im trying to find the best of both worlds a self contained ptz motion sensing camera that picks up humans, cars, and really any motion that isn't shadows changing leaves falling. Any tips or suggestions or can you confirm the capabilities of your camera and if it can pick up vehicle motion as well as human? Thank you kindly and Happy Holidays!
Yes they do sense cars! If you look closely in the footage I took in this video, you will see a car icon when there is a car in the view. You can set sensitivity for all alerts and customize it exactly like you want it.
Just to be clear, if I purchase the wifi version it will sense the car's as well? I see it looked like you had both the one on the shed corner was wifi and the one you mounted on the bus was PoE, i can't use the PoE for what I'm trying to achieve so i would definitely need over wifi detection. Thank you!
Yes it will. I have seen the car detection on all of my Reolink cameras. I’m not a pro here but I’m 99% sure. You can always return it if you are not happy with its performance.
This is a very nice system!! I’m thinking it would be great to mount on my shuttle bus and camper.

So after using the reolink for a week or two what is your honest review?
I’ve been using them for nearly two months between 4 Reolink cameras. They have been awesome. The images are great. There are a few quirks with the Timelapse features where I sometimes can’t download the video file. But that doesn’t interfere with the security camera features. They are always on and always connected to WiFi and viewable from anywhere!

Hello, i live in Bucharest, Romania, in a block building at 3rd flor, on the back and i have sun only from 07.00AM to around 14.00pm, then the sun goes in front of building and have no sunt until next day. Do you think this solar panel will hold until next day to can recharge again, or having a cable also to can suply from electricity in home to?
Yes, I feel this would be sufficient to keep it fully charged. As long as it isn’t facing a lot of movement. The more objects it can see, the harder it works and the more battery power it consumes. You could easily connect it to a power source via USB C cable and not even need a solar panel.

Right now i have a Boavision camera, 20x, wich works very good, but i wish to put in my NVR to other cameras from home, as i have to watch in a tablet this camera because can't add in Reolink NVR.
