Tom Hanks says the same thing about Clint when shooting, "go ahead" and 'that's enough of it". Eastwood is just THE LEGEND, God bless.
Great Eastwood impression Kevin....
Mystic River is a masterpiece
Its has everything and and everyone
Masterclass of acting, wrapped in a gripping story
I’m not a very emotional man, but I can say this with 100% certainty. The day Clint Eastwood passes will be one of the saddest days of my life.
Well stated. Same here.
Fantastic demonstration of a very good directorial method.
That's why I do not understand Kubrick, who required 80+takes, and on-the-spot dialogue changes. Clint's movies are amazing, even if he only does 1-2 takes. After hearing about his concentration camp-like movie set, I refuse to watch Kubrick movies. Such a BS.
Well it depends on the movie. The 1-2 takes works on things like Unforgiven, Mystic River and Million Dollar Baby, but maybe a few more would have been better on The 15:17 to Paris where he wasn't using professional actors
That’s exactly how Tom Hanks described Clint’s “action/cut.” 😆
i think when a regular movie director yells "action" ,adrenaline pumps in to a new comer actor, when the call for "action" like Clint Eastwood does , is up to the actor, gives a chance to relax in the first words of the script and in the "body language"
Ok, I'm off to watch all the Eastwood movies again now. And probably a few Bacon ones too.
Absolutely, a class act...
Eastwood's so laid back, he'll never get anything done. Josey Wales, Mystic river, Bird, Unforgiven, Eiger Sanction...it goes on
The great Bacon... I love it.
Subtle vibe 👍
Clint doesn't just talk the Libertarian talk. It took Kevin about .0001th of a second to respond.
Clint never stops filming. Forest Whitaker said many times a large number of the scenes in the movie Bird, were unscripted or off scene. There was even one time Forest was resting and mumbling off cam and Clint was filming the close up. Ryan Philippe on Flags of our fathers knew this system the hard way, that Ryan had to be on acting mode all the time until Clint quietly says "all right, that's enough".
We all got it coming kid.
All my movie live Clint is there. My parents toke me to the pictures in India in 1970. Saw all the greats of that day. All of them. I was 5. By the way. Didn’t warp my mind. 😅
When he’s not busy doing silly EE adverts here in the UK.
Clint’s Rawhide days apparently , where the directors would scream ‘Action’ & ‘Cut’ so loudly they would scare the horses and put everyone on edge , maybe Clint tucked that one away for future reference.
Bacon told Howard Stern that he has paid the DJ at a couple of family weddings more than a few dollars to not play Foot Loose.
lol, yeah, I’m sure he’s tired of the whole soundtrack….
He's got some johnny knoxville vibes in this video.
Unlike moody Bacon who I met on set. He’s a uptight guy. Clint is not uptight ,met him as well .
Is he still with the Avengers?!
Ok, that's enough of that.😊
Jajaja, the same voice of Eastwood
OH you mean.... A NORMAL HUMAN BEING? haha
