Excellent conversation. I think while discussing the factors determining image quality, contrast resolution would be another main contributer to discuss alongwith spatial resolution, fat elimination and phase smearing.
@anniesshenanigans3815 I looked and it wasn't there. That was the first spot I checked. Necks there but not chest. Unless this scan goes by another name.
I have been trained to just be a button pusher...I would love to have more information on scanning parameters. Robs teaching style is exactly what I need to move from button pusher to a tech who knows the why! Are there any courses available that I could take with robs methods?
Thank you this is just an excellent pod cast, really made me think of who I am as a technologist. Really want to be that expert 😊 Also made me think about who I work for and what environment I have learned in. 🤔
I really enjoy this podcast and love what you are doing but just a pointer please try to refrain from going too off topic. It really takes away from the knowledge your guests are trying to share with us, overall love the podcast but it could use some cleaning up.
well this is a problem as a newbie, there's a place that I can work (trailer MRI chiropractic) that i can play with it but they don't do pretty much nothing (c-t-l, maybe an extremity) and there's one of the best hospitals that I'll be exposed to EVERYTHING but guess what, those protocols ARE NEVER TO BE TOUCHED!!! soooo....🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
" they are hiring people straight out of school " so it was WRONG for them to do that? can you elaborate on that? because where the hell is a person straight out of school learn the real deal IF every place will tell you they need a tech with experience???
I hope Rob writes a book on his method of teaching!
I hope he does as well!
This was a really good episode. You can tell who has different perspectives on MR. I appreciate both.
Excellent conversation.

I watched an MRA of the chest and the magnet didn't have any protocols saved. I m glad I was watching because it was so far over my head.
you can go to MRI Master and find protocols for this. and any scan, actually.

Another great podcast! Thank you for your education as always.
Love Rob! Excited for this episode!
I agree with Robert about the PA phase. If you have that option. I can see it making a difference. Same reason we can scan sternums PA; reduce motion.
Great podcast
Would someone be able to provide a link to get more information on Rob's program?
More information on this coming very soon. Thanks for watching. 🙏💯🙏🏾
How do you know what an optimal pixel size is for each sequence?
You are forgetting Ordering provider as a customer. Especially pre/post surgical.
Good point. That can be considered the Radiologist's Customer. Which makes it our customer too. Thanks for watching. 🙏🏼💯🙏🏾
@@Zone3Podcast one of your best pod casts.
@4:20 so these companies aren't asking about claustrophobia??
